Non provision of new connection after 120 days (Complaint No : BP 1100554068)
This is regarding the new connection which we have applied in the name of Suresh Sundaram. The application was filled in by the agent of Mahanagar Gas on 13.06.2011. A cheque of Rs.6000/- was handed over to him as application fee and it was promised that the connection would be provided to us within 90 days. The mahanagar Gas is already available in other flats in our Society i.e. Mahindra Park Co-operative Housing Society, Ghatkopar (W). The cheque was debited in our account on 22.06.2011. Even after 120 days, no body at Mahanagar Gas is taking the responsibility to respond as to how much time it will take for the connection. We have been harrased by calling on the customer care and everytime a new BP number is given. What is the use of giving a complaint number when it is not to be solved. Such a pathetic service is being given for providing a new connection. You approach for marketing when you are not able to cater to customers who willingly want to take your services.
In case, no response is given to the complaint please refund the amount alongwith interest.
