[Resolved]  Mahindra & Mahindra/xylo — Manufactoring Diffect on newly purchaed Vehicle

Sirs,

My Name is Sreekumar Kurup, employed in Dubai for an international
Media Network. Recently I bought a Xylo E8, from TVS Showroom
Alappuzha(Kerala) on 23rd May.

It was a very unforgetable experiance from the Alleppy showroom when I
went with my family to take delivery of the car, may be I am little
greedy in geting a complementary approach from your staff there,
instead of that I was forced to take the car with out even a tissue
box for my pleasure, I dont dig more "even after 15 days and 2000 km
of my ownership nobody called me from the dealer to check the status
of my car such calls usually boosts out confidence of customer care, I
enjoyed this care before when I owned more than 4 cars.(not Mahindra).

While having this wound in mind, I never talked to anyone fom the
Alappuzha Showroom, recently the monsoon has started in Kerala, and I
found water leaking through the dash bord and falling on my feet also
on the co drivers front place. I called to service and informed ths,
they told me its from the airconditioner, later i had the same problem
while the ac was off, the same time the symbol"check engine" appeared
glowing in the panel, I got a technician came to my house and serviced
the system through a laptop and felt OK, again at night I had the same
warning, it was Saturday so I have planned to send it to service on
monday, thats today I want to drive to TVS, but on the way car got sut
down in the middle of the road, again a service person came and did
the soft reset, , again the car start to function, after few km to
service centre, in the middle of a narrow bridge, the same problem
happend, made a severe traffic block, later people helped me to push
the car to road side and then took the car to service centre. Now I
heard the car have leak on the front sheild which is purely a
manufactoring error and a failure of the PDI, .

Let me have my humble doubts on my past experiance

1. Do I have to pay the listed price to buy a diffective car
2. How far the quality control of Mahindra and Mahindra can be reliable,
3. Why the PDI did not find out this error
4. Since I am dipressed from the show room people first and the
vehicle make me desperate later, what is the meaning of customer
satisfaction.
5. How can I be confident on a new product on road from Maihndra.
6. Being the first xylo buyer from Alleppey showroom, is this normal
kind of customer relation which I received.
7. Being a consumer, It is my right to protect my interests even if I
have to use the help from authorities, at this early stage of Xylo,
dont you think it will affect the sales.


Being a buyer of Xylo E8 from Mahindra & Mahindra through TVS SONS, I belive
I have my rights to make sure that the quality of the product wich I
purchased is the best to its value. So please advice & guide me to conclude the matter in a very amicabily.

hey friends i have very bad expreance abt mahindra xylo d2 after 8000 km the break is doing sound now its 50000 the dealer (sutaria hubli) cant detect noor service man of mahindra so i m approching to cansumar court as soon as possible please dont buy the vehical

Dear sir,

I saurabh yadav have owned the Xylo E-4 model on[protected] having registration no.UP16X0520 ENGINE NO.94D4406 CHASSIS NO.92D31222.

Our each & every service had been done by koncept automobiles pvt. ltd. at A-9, Sector-2, Noida (U.P). Last service has been done on[protected] by Mr.subho (representative) on 53694Km, for this proof we have bill of all service done by koncept.

But yesterday, my vehicle was over heated at express way, i, managed to find one local mechanic, he open the bonnet and add water to the boiling radiator, to my surprise i have seen that the radiator of my vehicle has been changed by any accidental xylo, as, the radiator was broken and have been pasted m seal to stop the broken part.

After all i call Mr. Ramesh Rawat at ([protected]) machindra workshop-1, he said to bring the vehicle, i have manage to drive 38km slowly and came to the work shop, but after complaining to Mr Rawat he recommended me to meet first Mr.Sandeep (manager), after complaining about the matter to him, he have not taken any action after one hour of standing the vehicle. I request him many times to open the job card but no one has entertain me. After that he said to come on tomorrow, my residence is at greater noida i came at service station and then he send me back again to 38km. Again on returning i face the same problem as said above, but by god grace there was no fire in the overheated engine and i came safely to my home.

Well after all this scenario, today the situation is that i am going to my office by auto.

Now the question is that, how the radiator has changed, this is only what i have seen, there are many other hidden parts also, which are costly, & can also has been changed. If this has done to some safety parts, then who is responsible, if, any mishappening (accident) held to me & my family.

Kindly provide satisfactory answer of my question and the corrective measurement or else i have to knock the door of the court.

It’s all upon to your choice. The case is very simple; one of your labour is playing with the life of many like me. It is not about money, it is a criminal offence.

I would like to have some positive response from your side before i opened it the matter publicly.

My intention is not to go to the court or mahindra, if i found the corrective step from your side.

I'm planning my vacation on Sept 15th..and looking forward to buy a car...Initially I thought of Mahindra Scorpio or Mahindra Xylo..(automatic transmission only). I had purchased Xylo D2 last month (UP32-DT 8386) and it is crating a kind of noise from second day of purchase. It dealer says they had to change the Belt and the adjuster. I am waiting for the last one month for the same. Every time I call them they say that the items are not yet recieved from Mumbai. The car is making a lot of noise it seams it is not new.

Mahindra — not satisfying

last year we bought mahindra 475Di "boomiputra" tractor from kadayanallur showroom in tirunelveli district.i have given all the documents on time but they are delayed registration. we losses all money for put petrol and they are sustained to registration.... one day i called sales rep and i threatned that persone. the registration period more then one and half months .but they are expect to pay due on time how may i do for this situation.we are get depressed for that matter do some action for that dealer (thendral motors) .... KADAYANALLUR...........

I live in napasar bikaner rajasthan. meri car accident ho gai 27/04/2012 ko. mene car apke warksope me 29/05/2012 ko dedi. usme aek side ka shisa and driwar side ka hendal and lok lagana tha and gate ki denting nikalni thi. aaj subha mene worksope me phone kiya to bole car tytar nahi ha. mera job card tuesday ka ha. me paresan ho raha hu. aap ke worksope me work karne wale workar nahi ha. aek ashish name ka ladka bitha rakha ha jo santoshjanak jabab bhi nahi deta ha.bikaner motor ka malik workar ko kam paise dete ha tab workar kam par nahi aate ha. aap ki itani badi company ke nam ko kharab kar rahe ha bikaner ke sare costumbar aap ki company se khus nahi ha naraj ha. mene jab se xylo car lee ha tab se paresan hnu. please give me repaly

I own an E4. The mileage is low around 10-12. The doors knock. Service centre in salem TN is unable to fix it or not willing to fix it. Mahindra is truly indian with chalta hai attitude.These guys make huge profit by selling their products in third world countries. Perhaps we should spend a little more and buy an established German/Japanese/European brand instead of mediocre Indian brands.

I am Bharat Lal Meena have a Xylo E-4, RJ-14-UC-2803. we have many problems in my Car. we are not received good service from your authorized dealer. our car have AUTO World Jaipur Service centre for some work from last 10 days. but our car is not completed by service centre.
we send many complaints to your centre but they do not action. we have very unsatisfied from your services.

After seeing all the comments about the dealer approch towards customer I feel that the dealer Sterling Motors faridabad is quite good at it . I brought xylo E8 ( ABS ) in june on my birthday and they made it a special day by arranging a small birthday celebration and do call regularly to check if every thing is working fine and also feedback calls from M&M to assure and check service quality.

But as far as quality of parts are concerned it is not upto the mark . In the very first service the AC air vent choked though it was rectified but again during the second service the same problem occoured. Also the quality of stitching of cloths on the arm rest is very poor as with in a months time it started coming out ..other wise it is very comfortable and good MUV...to drive

Overall Poor quality, service and not even have any manners that how to behaive with the customers.I have june 2010 model and. I m having problem in my xylo in hard cluch, break noise from d front of the tires . since first day of purchasing.and I m so tired of this . We purchased a Mahindra Xylo E8 8STR vehicle in 2009. Our vehicle chassis number is 19403 and engine number is BV94J57720. It is a family car and is single person driven. The vehicle has done around 62, 000 Kms so far. We are having regular problems in our Mahindra Xylo vehicle. We have been regularly incurring lot of expenses for the repairs. Few recent examples are: Replacement of Clutch Plates in March’2012 which costed us around Rs. 9, 000/- Then in May’2013 we had to replace the High Pressure Fuel Pump which costed us around Rs. 34, 000/-. Recently there was some problem in AC which again costed us around Rs. 8, 000/- to get repaired. We had been accommodating these expenses believing we had selected this vehicle and if our choice was wrong we need to bear the costs. But recently we found that the vehicle has started getting badly rusted and the left door and body over the rear tyres is developing some holes due to this severe rusting. When we have shown the problem to the Mahindra Authorised dealer he says this is not covered under Warranty and has to be paid for repair. It is going to cost again over Rs.30, 000/- for the same. When we ask them why this sever rusting has taken place, they have no answer. Mahindra has used poor quality sheet material or compromised on the finishing. This may be causing the rusting. Why do we need to pay for Quality problems in Mahindra process.Parts failing and needing replacement is understandable to some extent. But the vehicle body getting rusted and developing holes is unbelievable and unacceptable. It is a clear sign of poor quality of materials / process used by Mahindra.

I purchase a 2013 model h4 Xylo and I found right side door glass window manufacturing date is 2012, while I check with showroom and they said its manufacture error they can’t do anything also they didn’t provide fog lamp music system, etc
In addition after the purchase I check with the their sales rep and he replied” it’s my fault that I want deal with such bad customer “
