[Resolved]  Make My Trip - Best Of Thailand — Deficiency of Services

At the outset, I was pleased with Make My Trip services, however, once I made the initial booking payment. My complaints in this regard are:

1. On the pamphlet of 'Best of Thailand' , there was an additional Rs,2,000 discount per person, this discount was offered in an arbitrary fashion. There was no (*) in the pamphlet to suggest that there were any further conditions that would apply;

2. Make My Trip has till date (I am due to fly in less that 15 days) not provided me with flight/hotel details;

3. Make My Trip was subsequent to the initial payment was suppose to transfer my file/service to the operation team, which did not happen/still has not happened;

4. One reason why Make My Trip refuses to give me any details is because I want to process my Visa applications independently, as it is cheaper and more convenient for me;

5. They have time and again provided me with false information with respect to fees of visa, documents required for visa etc.;

6. They refuse to reply to my e-mails in a timely manner and do not adhere to deadlines;

7. They have time and again given assurance of rectification of the same, however this has not happened;

8. I haven't received a confirmation e-mail with respect to my copies of the passport;

9. The e-mail complaint mechanism has not done anything in this regard; and

10. Make My Trip Mumbai office offers a cash back of 7.5% to all Standard Chartered customers, my cash back has been limited to INR 2,500. This is unclear and unfair.

Make My Trip will cheat you if you are not aware and cautious.

Dear Sir,

I have booked my holiday package with Make My Trip. At the outset, I was happy with their services, however, once I made the initial booking payment their outlook changed completely. Please see below my complaints in this regard:

1. I was not given my hotel and flight details (i.e., names, confirmation receipts etc.) for my visa application in spite of repeated requests;

2. I was asked to use Make My Trip's visa services, as oppose to use the consulate services which are more convenient and cheaper;

3. I have been following up with queries time and again but have not received a satisfactory response from any of them;

4. The 'Best of Thailand' pamphlet has an additional discount of INR 2,000 per person, which was not provided to me in spite of repeatedly asking them;

5. Make My Trip Bombay offered 7.5% cash back offer for standard chartered and I was informed that this is limited to INR 2,000 only;

6. I was informed that after the initial booking payment, my transaction would be transferred to the operations team which has not happened;

7. I haven't got any acknowledgment or other e-mails when I submitted my passport;

8. After much insistence I was provided with incorrect visa information; and

9. The call center and e-mails often go unnoticed and deadlines are ignored.

At this point I am unsure about my trip and I blame Make My Trip for it.
