[Resolved]  Maruti Suzuki — poor service center work MSSD Naraina

Hi,

COnsider this as a complaint against Maruti service center MSSD Naraina. My 32 days old Maruti Swift LDI has been spoil by them after the first service. The car is with them for the past two days and are not able to diagnose the fault which was induced by them at the first place. (First service happend after 14 days). Car bought on 16 July 2011.

I went for the first service of the car on 4 August 2011 and car had no problem. I requested for only the Oil change and regular inspection.
Problem starts from here :-

I took the delivery of the car which had a puncture tire and a bad air nossle of another tyre.
the car started making whistling noise when brakes were applied.
Car started to pull towards left (Strong).

The above mentioned problems were not there before I gave the car for service. Then to get this issue resolved I took the car back on 17 August 2011 (I had complaint about the issues 2 days after taking the delivery of the car from 1st Service, over the phone).

Then again I was told by the service adviser Mr. Vinay Panday that the noise from the brakes is normal and I should not worry about it. As if I have never driven a car before and I dont know how the brakes should sound. Anyways, this was secondary.
I asked him to rectify the car pulling towards left as it is not an alignment issue. He said that we will check the alignment and will rectify it. However, as I said it was not an alignment issue and the blame was put on me that I have got Alloys and tyres from outside. But mind you i got the tyres and alloys changed after driving the car for 80 Kms. I did not have this problem before the service. The adviser has put all the blame on me that its because of the tires and not the alignment. I am not saying that something went bad while doing the alignment, but I am saying that someone purposely did something.
Still he said we will check the alignment and give you the car in 2 hours. I went back to take the delivery and as soon as I drove it out of the service station there was another problem added to the car. A very abnormal voice from the left hand side front of the car when driving the car over 70kmph. I went back to the station and reported the problem.
An adviser named Jeevan did a test drive of the car after I reported the issue to Mr. SS Gupta. He confirmed that there is an issue with the noises that are coming. I was asked to give the car in the morning to which I said i will give the car on saturday only.

On saturday I gave the car at 8:30 am in the morning and the car was inspected for the first time that day at 10:30 am to confirm the type of noises coming by Mr. Durgesh. (2 hours later)

He told me that he is not able to diagnose the noise and will have to keep the car for 2 days and may be more (this was his response without (SHAMELESS)).
I told them that it is 11 am and that you can check the car for the rest of the day and I dont think it will take so long to rectify it, but to vain.
I was supposed to go to enjoy my long weekend with friends to kasauli and all the books were done but these guys did not react. instead of taking the case on priority the car was left untouched for 3 hours.
After a lot of argument I was told that I will be given a substitute car for delhi driving however the car was issued to me at 4:30pm. I was waiting for 4 hours and 30 minutes for someone to get back to me.
And now I have been trying to chase Mr vinay pandey who is on leave and does not have an update. I called the service station who have no idea about my car. Mr gupta who told me he will get back to me soon and its been 2 hours since then.

I feel highly cheated and will be taking this matter further as the car was spoilt by the service station and they are so casual about this. Highly unprofessional (Sarkari company feel) i got. I have a hyundai and fords but never faced this kind of a weird issue before.

I have mp 04 hc 2877 Maruti Zen 2004 model car purchased from MY CAR MALVIYA NAGAR BHOPAL. from the date of purchase i am regular sending vehicle for srevice to the same dealer's service station.On dated 26/5/ 2010 some heating problem was in the Vehicle. so i gave the vehicle to MY CAR MALVIYA BHOPAL"s work shop on same date and received the vehicle on date 4-6-2010.After repairing the vehicle a new problem was generated during repair i.e OIL LEAKAGE from the engine.again i complaint and gave the vehicle for rectify the same fault.after receiving the vehicle what i observed my oil leakage problem was not solved.again and again 4 to 5 times i gave the vehicle to my dealers and paid the huge amount but my problem was not rectified so far.

MSSD Naraina (owned by Maruti Suzuki) are cheating customers. Their technical services are comparable to local street mechanics and pricing is the highest. Nuts/bolts/spares/speakers were stolen from my vehicle during service. Complaints remained unaddressed during service and money was charged.

Complaint (Service of Wagon R : DL3CZ 8622 N1A CRM:[protected] was raised over 2 months ago and Mr. Gupta and A.S. Sidhu (Territory Manager) continue to ignore my reminders.
My Maruti Swift VDI got damaged and I sent to Maruti naraina for repair, my past experiance was also very poor. but I do not had any choice the only Maruti workshop nearby. but again I will explain in short WORST then POOR paint on Bonnet. also add a comment that this workshop is over staff and people are doing nothing whole day only few are working honestly. Ms. Nagpal (customer care Manager so called ) do not know how to handle do not know how to talk. getting heavy salary doing nothing also spoiling reputed company Image. I paid approximate 60000 Rs. every single penny. also coordinator was also the same. i do have choice so i have taken my car with poor paint. but noticed on the road that the indicator is not working. my KENWOOD music system also spoiled.
