[Resolved]  Maruti Swift Dzire — Maruti Suzuki Dzire Booking Problems

I have been trying to book a Maruti Swift Dezire VXI from the last few days, and am going through the a harrowing experience with the Dealers. I first went to Pratham Motors at Outer Ring Road to book the car. They refused to take a booking and told me that Maruti has stopped taking booking of Swift Dezire cars. When I put pressure on them they told me that they can take the booking but the delivery would take 9 months. They had 2 weeks back told me that the delivery would take 3 months, which was also long, but I was ready to accept it. But last week they told me that they would be able to deliver in 9 months. I was also surprised by their behavior.

I then called up the Maruti call center and spoke to Jiten, He told me that there was no stop from Maruti’s end on booking for Dezire and the delivery period was much earlier than 3 months. He took my mobile no. and promised me that somebody would be calling me at the earliest. But till now there is no call.

After that I spoke to multiple other dealers in Bangalore for the booking but every body was mentioning that the delivery would take 4 to 6 months. When I spoke to Mr. Anil from RNS Motors, Yesthwantapur. He told me that they could deliver the vehicle in 3 months time, I was relived and asked him to send a person to take the booking immediately. But nobody came for the booking till afternoon. Then I had to call Mr.Anil multiple times. Then at last in the evening he promised that one sales executive would reach my home late in the evening.

At last at 8 PM one Sales Executive from RNS Motors Bomanhalli reaches my home, gives me a price and tells me that there are no discounts and any freebees. I agree to the same and fill the booking form. After filling the form when I was giving him a cheque of Rs.25, 000/- as the booking amount, he refused to take it and said that the Booking amount for the Swift Dezire is Rs.1, 00, 000/-, which is fixed by Maruti. I asked him to show me documentation to this effect, he was unable to show any documentation. After that I spoke to the Sales Manager, of RNS Motors Bommanhalli and also with Mr. Anil from RNS Motors Yeshwantpur the accept Rs.25, 000/- as the booking amount, but they FLATLY REFUSED.

After that I also called the Maurti call center again and spoke to Mr. Danish, and asked him if Maruti had fixed the booking amount of Rs.1, 00, 000/- for the Swift Dezire. He told me that Maruti had not fixed any thing of this kind and he would take it up with the concerned authorities. I asked him for the phone nos. of the Regional Manager at Bangalore of his mail id. He refused to give them to me and just gave a email id [protected]@maruti.co.in.

At end of all this experiences I feel very disturbed with the way I was treated by the Maruti dealers. The attitude they have is like they have a monopoly and can take the customers for a ride. My not buying a Maruti car will not make any difference to a big company like Maruti. I just wanted to check with Maruti if this the way the want their dealers to treat customers and claim to be the Winner of J.D.Power Customer Satisfaction awards, year after year.

I had sent the entire above details to the email id provided by the call center and also put in the details in their web site. I got a reply mentioning that the complaint has been sent to the concerned department and they would get back to me. 5 days had passed and there was no reply. So I sent a reminder mail.

Some body then called from the call center and was taking the details when the line got disconnected. He did not bother to call me again after that. This is kind of service we get from the leading Car Manufacturer in India.

my dealer RNS motors yeshwantpur Bangalore has taken advance of 100000/-
maruti is going to give 12% for only 50000/-
so the other 50000/- is going to be at dealers risk and i doubt they have given it to
MUL. since the booking amount is only 50000/- according to todays newspaper add.

dealer has to return back extra 50000 Rupees since it not legal.

it was also mentioned in the newspaper that the production of the car is increased by the company...hope we will get our car very soon.
Even I booked Dzire VXI first week of april and no news about delivery. Now hearing there are complaints with the vehicle. Is it true of so I need to cancel and look something else.

" Hey is there a problem with the car as well? Heard quite a few brake problems and rattling issues. One TD vehicle had a major accident and fell into a river. I dont know if it was driver's fault or not. Also is it tail happy? "
there is no problem in dzire car, the production unit is closed from june 1- june21 because they are expanding the manesar plant. so now production has been stoped, soon they will increase the production of car
Dear all,
I have booked a Maruti Dzire vxi with M/s T.R Sawhney (badli)on 31/03/2008 with the amount of 25000/- and then paid Rs. 375000/- on 09/05/08 it means a total of Rs. 400000/- after 70 days of the booking and making a complain on customer care Till date I have not received a single call from the company. To be more surprising they reply as thank you for the reply of your mail also send to them If you will call the dealer they asked you to deposit the balance amount of Rs. 150000 Approx to speed up your delivery and says if you will do so your case will be in pipeline.

I do not beleive that the booking for the month of march is not cleared for Dzire till date there must be something suspicious. I request the company to atleast reply to your customer and if possible make it a habit from your silver jubliee year .
Plant is not closed production has stopped to rectify the problems faced by dzire.
initially they have delivered faulty vehicles .
how can engine be faulty, the engine is as same as swift diesel, which is very good and proved its efficiency

The engine is offcourse good but there are some major problems with the design of the car.
1) rear shock absorbers are failing with load in boot.
2) new sensors of auto climate control are failing.
3)ventilation problem.
Who had already got the car don't worry, because they give replacement if there is realy a big problem. They had given replacement when the new diesel swift was launched last year
Hi all,

I am owning the dzire(vdi) i am facing rattling noise near back door.when travelling at
speed around 70km/hr on highway.

also i feel the rear suspension is not so good. maruti could have improved the rear suspension.

I wanted to know petrol dzire also has rattling issue? is it due to diesel car?
i have shown to the dealer already but no improvement.
may be there is no relation b/w the engine and ratling sound of the door, once again check if the sound is coming from the door or anything else, when was the problem started. my cousin has the car dzire zdi but there is no problem in that car and i too had booked for dzire zdi on[protected] and waiting for delivery
Maruti swift is known for having rattling issues and stiff rear suspension. I guess they didnt do much of a improvement in moving from hatchback to notchback.
but in some car magzines they have told that suspension has been improved

yes i feel the rear suspension is quite stiff. i am suspecting the rattling sound is
from back side.at the first service (1000kms) it was told it is corrected but
still i am getting that sound.i feel its due to vibrations. but not sure whether petrol
version of the car also has this issue?

MARUTISWIFT DZIRE ZDI — PROBLEM IN BREAKS

I Have Purchsed my car Swift Dezire ZDI ( ABS-EBD BREAKS) on Dated 21-04-08 From Berkeley Auto Chandigarh . Since then I am having a problem of Noise When
I push the Breaks of my car. I had shown my car to Chitosho motors, Mohali on 12-05-08 And next on 02-06-08, But Problem is not Resolved
. Then I Had vistited the Berkeley Services On 10-06-08.but Again problem

if the vibration is from the back then is it from the tire or where, it may not from the door.
i feel the sound is due to fitment from back door.
there is some thing wrong.
