[Resolved]  Maruti - Swift Dzire — Carefree attitude of Maruti Associates

Dear Sir,

I would like to narrate my experience with Apra Motors who is one of the Maruti Car Dealers in Sector 14, Gurgaon, Haryana.

I had given my car DL 2C AL 4276 for some dent repairing and painting on Saturday 23 October 2010 which was costing me an amount of Rs 12,255=00. I paid that amount in cash and was supposed to get the car on Tuesday 26 October 2010 early afternoon. My driver reached the showroom, cleared the payments and was amazed to note that the original Swift Desire Mattings of the Car were missing. He was made to wait for atleast 3 hours to locate the mats and the person in charge of our car, but in vain.
My driver made me speak to the person incharge at Apra Motors, who said " we dont know where the mats have disappeared but will give it to you the next day.

Its been almost a week, and have been continously and religiously following up with the Senior Officials at Apra Motors, but in Vain.

On the bill, they have mentioned as well that it will be replaced free of cost next day.

I have called them many times, and they have either disconnected my phone, not entertained my call or said we would call you back but they never did.

Today, I called them asking for the Consumer Complaint Department in Maruti to which they have mentioned that look it up behind the Service Book.

Sir, after showing patience and humanity and considering it being a human error which is negligible and will be taken care off, then why am I being harassed like this.
I have paid all the charges in Cash. Am I wrong in asking to atleast have the courtesy to call me back and inform me what is the status of the mats which were lost / misplaced / stolen in a showroom who happens to be the authorized dealer of one of the biggest car manufactureres of Maruti Udyog Limited.

Sir, its not about the money, nor do I expect it from them. This is no way to treat a customer.
I am very deeply hurt and saddened to get such a treatment for an MNC like Maruti or its associates.

I humbly request you to take appropriate action on the same and give me a feedback as to what action has been taken.
