dear sir,

i am paid rs.2500/-to max new york for taking a policy by cq.no.057126 dated 26/10/2005 of icici bank ltd goregaon br, mumbai and the same was cleared on 26/10/2005.

as after paying above amount no comunication from company for issuing policy or policy premium remander till dated 09/05/2008.then i am applied for refund of payment paid by me. on15/05/2008 i am socked the company is deliver the laps policy and refuse for refund.

i have a policy with Max New York Life Insurance[protected] taken in march 2008 for annual premium of rs 20000 its Life Maker Plan since then i have made a payment of rs 25000 through credit card to the company also i have recived the recipts for the same but the company is claiming that we have recived only 20000 they are not at all answering for rs 5000 at all properly also i have called at customer care may be more then 10 times they always assure to solve the problem and do nothing till date they dont even do call back and clerify my problem also it is clearly seen in their web site that rs 25000 applied to the policy this problem created by the company has lead my policy in laps mode i want to reinstead the policy but only after the clarification.
i kindly request you to pl guide me in this regards

As communicated by our Customer Service executive, Rs 20, 000 has been allocated as premium towards Policy No[protected] and the remaining Rs 5000 has been allocated towards your second Max New York Life Policy No:[protected] as per your written request received on December 26, 2008.

I am writing to you with regards to the policy number,[protected]. I had purchased this policy in the 2009 and paid for 10 month a sum of approx, 2000 a month. Post that I had financial insurgencies due to which I was unable to pay. Matter of fact, I never got a phone or a reminder of payments from Max Life. Today, I called in your customer care number seeking a refund of this amount which has been lying with you since years, and a gentleman named Deepak answered and informed that`no refunds are possible as I had pay for an year to be eligible to get a refund. I am extremly sorry to inform you that this was never notified to me when I had signed for this Policy by your advisor, or else I would have paid another 4000 to recover the amount of 20000.

I request you to kindly look into the matter and refund my money back. In my opinion, this is not a ethical situation. More-so, I understand that you may have fine printed it at the TnC's of the policy, which happens to be a standard practice in order to save yourselves legally, however, as a practice, this is something your advisors should inform before hand, and not dupe people of their hard earned monies.
