[Resolved] Mega Cabs — Overcharging by taking longer route | |||
I booked a cab for one my guest from Vasant Kunj to Nizammudin railway station( which is around 18-20 kms). My guest though being from Delhi didnt know the exact route hence told him to go via AIIMS. Driver using his ignorance asked him if he should take Dhaula Kuan route which is absurd as he has to first go to opposite direction. My guest was charged for around 27.5km. My guest not being aware of the route did'nt protest. When I called up Mega cab they told me that they have talked to the driver and it is not his fault but my guest's fault and they will not take any action. This is really unprofessional as cab driver is using passenger's ignorance to charge more. This reminds me of old days in Delhi when Autos used to take absurd routes to overcharge. Is there a way some action can be taken against this company Was this information helpful? | |||
