Introduction
My wife (Age: 32) is over-weight and is not happy with this fact. She always wanted to try such products that help her reduce her weight drastically.

Here comes an ad where Amar Upadhyay introduces a revolutionary ayurvedic product, Metaslim. A product that can change your life. Frankly you come across such ads almost every day, but when it is accompanied with a recommendation of a friend, you tend to believe in the product.

My friend is 29 years old and he is slightly overweight. He said he recently tried this product and has seen a change from 1st week. I was quiet surprised and happy to know this.

Hence, we decided to talk to customer care team and know more about the product so that we can buy it. This is where the trouble started. We just had called to get more info about the product and the representative on the call was forcing to book the package without giving information about the product. Answer to every question asked by us was suffixed by a line, so shall I place the order sir. That guy irritated so much and was in a hurry to make a sale rather than inform the customer about the product. We had to disconnect at that time saying that we will get back.

Post that these guys called us almost 5 times in next two days saying: you called, so shall we place the order for you? Many times my wife was breast feeding my child and ask to call later, to which the guy at the other end says that your child can wait as it will take hardly two minutes. (These guys had the guts to say that). Anyways my wife disconnected the phone but was still wondering about the product which claimed to change many people lives.

Knowing about the history, finally I called them and booked the product. I thought that if the product is just like the customer service, we will return the product and claim the money back within 15 days (as guaranteed on commercial). The order got delivered within 2-3 days at my home (I was at office that time) and my wife was running after my kid to feed him.

Courier guy delivers the product, takes the money and goes away (without handing over the bill). Infact my wife also forgot to ask for the bill in the rush. When I came back in the evening, we opened the package and straight away got to learn that THIS PRODUCT IS NOT MEANT FOR BREAST FEEDING MOTHERS. When we called back to ask about that, then they say that oh yes this is correct and the person who sold the product must have explained this already (which they definitely had not). In fact the person was not interested in passing on any information which may hamper the sale of the product.

I also got to learn from my friend that the oil that is given in the package is not suitable for the skin texture he has. He saw rashes in the area where he used to apply the lotion.

Anyways, after long discussion with the customer care team, we got to know the process to return the package. The process is 1) Pack the product nicely --> 2) Write a letter to the team mentioning the reason of returning and other important details of the product. --> 3) Courier it to some address mentioned on the packet.

We returned the package within two days which got delivered by next day through DTDC. Since then they have been claiming that finance guy would call me and my check would be issued and sent to me. I am always told that your cheque would be dispatched after a finance guy would call in two days. When the finance guy did not call, I called them back to check for the status which they again shift to next two days.

Now its been more than 20 days that the I've been hearing this and last is when I got myself engaged in heated conversation. This happened not because of the delay in returning the money back but for giving false commitments. This ended up with the guy using abusive language that "sale bolna na is baar call a jayega". He probably started apologizing but by then I was not in a mood to listen anything and had disconnected the call. I seriously wish now, that I could have recorded that conversation and would have taken that guy and other team members to jail.

I advice everyone reading this post to be aware of fraud Metaslim team, who only believe in selling the product by hook or by crook.
