[Resolved]  Micromax Q5 — Profile doesn't change from headset profile

i purchased the micromax q5. i was listening to some songs for about an hours time. when i took the headset out of it, the profile did not change back from headset to general. i tried to restart it and took out the battery, removed the memory card and also changed the sim slot from 1 to 2. didnt work. i am going to go to the store to get it replaced. if they done replace it, i would contact legal departments for this as this is not at all acceptable. i have bought the phone just 3 days ago !!! please revert back to me if any answers

Q5 — i did not get good response

i buy a micromax Q5 IMEI 91004005285539153320391 BILL NO 2554 on the date of 3/4/10 from mahendra trading co raj mahel road mehasana gujarat after 2 month i hve a problem wth my track ball its dnt work properly i went shop they send me to the local service center of micromax i went there and deposit my mobile over there on the date of 14/6/10 that time they said that i get my cell phone within 10 to 15 days but till now i didnot get my cell.if i didnt get my cell phone i will take micromax company to the consumer court so plz tke some action imediatly about this metter

micromax,Q-3 mobile set — headset not working while in warranty period

I purchage mobileset micromax Q-3 on27.01.2010 bearing imei no.[protected]&[protected] being dual sim set.headset is faulty for last one month but service centre at ghaziabad is not giving proper service and saying that warrenty period is90 days for headset while booklet supplied by digital world at the time of purchage of set shows warrenty period six months page no.2. please instruct your service cntre under intimation to me.
I bought Q5 month ago and observed same problem o[censored]ser profile.Believe it or not everytime I made calls i had to use headsets.
The problem lies with headset jack.When you unplug the headset check if "headset plugged out" message pops on your screen, if not, the headset profile remains unchanged.
If this doesn't help use Nokia headset and plug in and plug it out.This will surely help.

Otherwise Q5 is best buy..

i have purchased micromax q 5 and now i think that i have done purchaching micromax mobile phone because the cell is alway activited on headset mode what i should do because now i am in uganda

This is not a problem. Because this phone has dual sim dual standby feature, it means when sim1 is active then sim2 will be in standby mode. Please login to micromaxinfo.com for more information.

i m prakash from sriganganagar ,i m become mad when i see the my mob. because it have a waste trak ball which do not move any side,and ear phone.
and when i m go to their servies centre they say go to hell
I too am facing the same issue, with my month old q5. And Feel will never recommend or buy Micromax brand.

Everything save than click service< Email <send and recive. sened and recive not working. showing network error.
In yahoo mail there is not shoing attache options.When i ask to service center people about this problem they are speaking our main technical person Mr Raghunath is not in town. please come after raghunath come . I bring this mobil from service center (srinives mobile care, jayanagar, bangalore for technical problem) mondayday 23/08/10.Gogle opening, yahoo opening. when putting mail ID and pasward there showing insufficiant memory. so i cannot open the mail.

I have purchased q75 3 days back.
And same here the problem with the headset profile.
Profile doesn’t change though you remove your headset.
Tomorrow I am visiting service centre lets see how these guys helps.
I too get the same problem now and then. Sure the problem is with the jack, but whether new jack will help or it would be same again, I dunno! Hope micromax brings about better jacks if it is really nothing like anything...
