Microsoft — XBox 360 Gaming Console

I bought a XBox 360 Console in February'09 and got it replaced from Microsoft within 1 month as it was scratching the CDs in the console. Microsoft was very co-operative and replaced the console but when I asked them to replace the game CD that I bought for Rs.2500 as it was scratched in the defective console, they denied it and said that it is against their policies to do so. Can anyone help me on that.
