I have applied for a new passport in Tirunelveli Collectorate which is under Madurai Passport office on[protected]. My Passport file no. MDU-Z[protected]. The status has been "Police Report has Not been Received" for quite a long time. But the verification from one address is completed. I don't know where is the problem. Kindly consider my request and do the needful at your earliest convenience.

Our Application Nos. A064967 & A064968. Police report received on 30th Nov and informed the probable date of dispatch as 30th December 2010. On 12th January 2011 it has been informed that the dispatch of passport has been delayed due to unavoidable circumstances and now be dispatched in a week's time. Passport awaited as on date. May we request goodself to inform the date of dispatch.

This is to draw your kind attention about my passport application form. I have been waiting since 2008 January for getting a passport. I have visited several times to passport office. Every time the required document was produced on time. Since the police verification report was not submitted I filled a police verification form and submit it again and it has already verified by the local police station and sent to the passport office. This is Ravikumar, I have applied for Son (HEMANTH GOWDA) passport whose age is Jus 6 months. And the file reference no is BNGW12132410 applied on 23/10/2010.

Till today i am not able to track what is the status of the fi online or not even by contacting passport office

Onemore thing is, In Minor case if Father and Mother had the Valid Passport than no Police verification is required. But this great people had done even Police verification!!! (Which shows these people efficiency)

In Bangalore they have given 4 or 5 Customer care number but no body will pck the call if we call. (I am not sure somebody will be their in the office or its a dummy numbers they have given)

In total, despite with the advanced technology we are facing these problems.

I am really fed up with this issue

Atleast somebody from the Passport department will help me in this regards.

Sub : Police Verification report no sent to RPO office from Commisoner Office, Bangalore

I applied re-issue of passport on Dec 10, 2010 on tatkal. My local police verification report sent on Feb 14, 2011 and enquired that Commisoner office uploaded scanned report in www.passportindia.gov.in and told that you will be receiving police verification report after one month.
I just want to know why it will take one month from Commsioner police to RPO, bangalore.
As police verification report is uploaded on the passport office website.
Whenever i call to bangalore passport office toll free no, she was asking that did you see the commissioner office has uploaded your document on the website.
As per the bangalore passport office toll free no, no police verification report is uploaded on the website.
I am not able to find out what is the problem in sending report to RPO office, bangalore.

Can any one tell me why Commisoner office, bangalore takes one month to send police verification to RPO, bangalore.

Its really pain to get the renewal of passport in bangalore.

My name is Swajan Dhar. I am writing from UK I am living here by Settlement Visa. I applied for my Indian passport in Indian High Commissioner.LONDON on 2009. But they said that they need confirmation clearence from Kolkota office.

I am waiting for confirmation clearence from the office. Please can you send the confirmation clearance to London office as soon as possible and below I gave all the information about my old international passport. It has been nearly 2 years that I applied for the passport. I have lots of proof that I am a Indian Citizen, I even have the photocopy of my passport. British High Commissioner London office sent my passport to the Indian High Commissioner London I also have the letter for this.

When I went to enquiry about my passport the Indian High Commissioner said they don't have the passport. If I contract with London Office (High Commissioner of India) they just say one thing since nearly 2 years that they still haven't received the clearance letter from Kolkata office and what kind of Visa I am living in this country? But, I already submitted Indefinite Leave to Remain in the UK (settlement permanent residence visa ) when I applied for the passport. I also contracted the Kolkata office they said that London office never requested the clearance.

I am a Indian citizen, why can't they issue a passport, for this problem I want you to solve this nicely. We are looking for a good co-operation.

It has been ONE YEAR and FOUR MONTHS (i.e. 476 days from the date of application) when I applied for passport in Dec'09 but till so far we have not received my passport. Reference to the application for fresh passport for my wife, Vidjealatchoumy vide File Reference No. A02478509 dated 30th December 2009. I would like to submit the true facts for your kind consideration and necessary action. With reference to the online Passport status, She was asked to resubmit the Proof of address.

Police verification was done on 06/Feb/2010, 20/Feb/2010 and on 21/Feb/2010. Reverification was done on 08/June/2010 and 10/June/2010 due to address proof. As per Madiwala Police record the final report was send to Commissioner office on 17/June/2010. I personnally verified on 18/June/2010 at Madiwala PS through Mr. Eswarappa Ruli and Mr Basha.

I have posted a letter on 14/May/2010 with all copies of necessary address proofs and 3 PP Form. She has also approached Superintendent (Enquiry) on 31/May/2010 but not success. Subsequently, the Office of the RPO, Bangalore vide their letter dated 31/May/2010 requested for personal particulars form, which was submitted to the PRO personally on 01/July/2010. Once again She approached RPO, Bangalore on 12/July/2010, as per the email reply from Mr. Jayaram, ACP Madivala Sub Division Office, stated with Police Commissioner office Sl. No. 19 and G.R. No. 230/10 (Good Report Number) dt. 22/6/2010, but enquiry office does not allowed us to meet Passport Officer. On the other hand Pondicherry Regional Passport Office, verified parament address proof on 11/June/2010. And everytime we've approached we've been asked to submit address proof and a letter from local bank (as address proof) again. On 30/March 2011, I have submitted all copies of proof and paid Rs. 5, 000/-- and received a receipt from RPO, Bangalore. Its now ONE YEAR and FOUR MONTHS (i.e. 476 days from the date of application). I have no idea how long it is going to take.

Could you possibly assist, and if so, could you explain what I am possibly doing wrong, If so, please escalate this request to appropriate person. Kindly help us in getting a passport for her at the earliest and please feel free to contact me on [protected].

we have apply for passport on dated 05.03.2011 the file no is NGPZ450473 we had persnal visted to the office on dated 06.05.11to the Smt N.P.Keny madam had told that she will despatch the passport within three to four days .we are calling them there is no answer from the office so sir please give us the status of our passport.what to do?

I had applied for a fresh passport at the Patna passport office the status shows that my file no is PATA03060311, date of application is[protected] and police report hasn't been received. The concerned police station at Dumra Court Sitamarhi, Bihar says that they haven't received my application.All these affairs seems to involve a bribery trick.

"Passport has been despatched by post on[protected] vide postal Registration Number D826561 ", But I am yet to have the possession of my passport. I inquired the post office and they said no such thing has arrived at their office.

Dear Sir,

This is regarding the application for the renewal of the passport submitted in February. Me and my wife are yet to receive the renewed passport, whereas the promise is about 45-60 days.

Here is small story behind this.

I applied for passport renewal. But when I went there, the gentleman rejected the Electricity Bill as an address proof saying its in my wife's name, whereas, I had given Index II ( I am second holder in the document ), marriage certificate and name change affidavit. Doesn't all these document confirms the address of the person? Because of this, my whole day was wasted.

I had to reapply for the same thing again. This time, when I reached the window, gentleman told that passport is damaged. Lamination on the last page as erupted not more than half centimeter. Is this the case of damaged passport, considering the fact that validity of passport is for 10 years? Because of this, whole efforts coming in queue were wasted and I had to start in another queue for damaged passport. Then only I could give my documents. In the proceedings, I lost another whole day.

Things are good if they ends good. But this thing is never ending. I still am waiting for my passport to come. Status being shown is application in process. My colleagues who applied for passport through some unauthorized agents got their passports and already flew to United States. Is interference of such agents ( can be seen in passport offices pune after 4:30 PM) allowed to such an extent that genuine people are hurt in such a severe manner?

Similar is the case with my wife's passport. The gentleman again rejected the application asking for address proof. Electricity bill was not accepted as it was in her old name ( before marriage). To support this, we had provided marriage certificate and name change affidavit. Isn't whole bunch of this document gives enough evidence of address? She was forced to get bank statement, in-spite of knowing that she is carrying 6 months old baby along with her. Does it in any sense reflects humanity? She went all the way to bank, got the address proof and submitted. But alas, now status is being shown as address proof is required. What kind of address proof is expected now? If bank statement is not treated as address proof, why my wife was asked to get the same?

All these questions are unanswered. But vigilant people can see it very clearly that there is a lot of interference o[censored]nauthorized agents in the passport office Pune, which is troubling common public like us.

Please take a note of this and help to expedite faster processing of our passports. I already lost two opportunities to go to onsite and eventually lost much more money during the course.
