Hi This is to bring to your notice that I have been cheated by a fitness company i.e. Ministry of Fitness, Gurgaon which actually made so many false promises at the time of closing the sale but did not deliver at all and ended up in the most pathetic and worst service one can expect from an MNC chain. I became the founder member of the above mentioned Gym as I had gone there once for enquiring about their services, and after that their sales executives were after my life to join the club and offered me good amount of lucrative benefits and attractive discounts. I am highly disappointed with the conduct and the level of professionalism of this gym's sales representatives. I with my wife joined the club because of studio classes and not for gyming. We were promised the studio classes would commence by 1st March, then 15th March, 22nd March. And now i realised the management does not even know, when these classes would commence. I sincerely feel sorry for the management and its seriousness. Further, I paid the initial amount which was supposed to be till 31st march and my next payment was due in Ist week of April 2010. Instead the club charged my card without my authorization and a month prior to the due date. I really doubt the integrity of the organization. Sale person Manjeet and Shweta lied about the facilities (studio classes) and about the fees to me. Kindly take necessary action to resolve this. Was this information helpful? | |||

hi...i am agree with you that is very bad happens with you . but if you are really interested in aerobic classes then comedown in celebrity fitness there are good studio .there you can take 100 group x classes in a week with Brazilian Instructors they help you to achieve you fitness goal. there are good enviornment of classes and they have 30000 square fit area up to 250 machine for your workout .many more facility like souna, steam, locker, shawer etc . all of these facilities are include in every member ship with affordable prices, you never pay additional for aerobic classes . So plz come down in club and checkout the facilities .

No his case is not a exception. Group classes are the worst I have ever seen in any good gym which they claim it to be. I regret I discontinued my earlier gym for this.
Ministry of fitness — Wrong Information given just to make member & take money!
In Feb I had taken a 6 months membership for Rs.17,000/- at Ministry of fitness. The inaugration of the gym was on 14th Frb 2010. I was told the gym would be fully functional from 1st March. Due to the nature of my work I had told the concerned sales person I would let him know when I would join the Gym on a regular basis. I was told that there is a charge of 500 or 600 Rs, incase the membership starts and the member is not able to come for the workouts. However since I was a "valuable customer" they would make an exception in my case and not charge me anything for holding the membership, I could start whenever I felt like & the membership would start from that day. When i finally had the time to devote to my fitness, I went to the gym for the 1st time & I was told the membership was due to expire!!!! When I confronted the sales person who had promised me the deal, he turned around & tells me there is nothing he can do about it and that my membership will expire soon.I did not even use the gym facilities even for a day! Besides I have not got the Nike shoes & the sipper as promised. Rather I was told to take a full years membership for Rs 28,000/- and they would give me 1 year free membership!!! They do not even have a track of members coming to the gym.

I totally agree with the above said points. They people are seriously pathetic. Even dnt listen to cutomers. They are least bothered about the customers. If i have to mention the names i would seriously say Unmesh, Swati, Priyanka all keep on chasing us for long when they have to enroll us but finally when they end up with a sale, they are even not ready to answer the calls & Unmesh even dnt knw how to talk to customers. I have heard somewhere that customers are most precious but for them they are important till the time of enrolment after that they have a simple attitude :- "WHO CARES".

They make People mad there. Its one and half months since I joined they did not even give me a schedule nor took my body measurements. But if a girl joins, the trainers catch her and go behind her and do all the formalities within one hour. I shouted at my trainer who does not even know how to speak and finally got my schedule. The same happens with the Salsa dance trainer. He always wants a girl to dance with. If counting of a girl is less, he makes the boy to stand and ask us to practise and he dances in the verge of teaching her...so pathetic people...

I am aware of various fitness centers in India. No body is bothered about giving promised facilities to their customers. Don't even trust the branded gyms in India. Their policy is simple, gather a team of well-built hooligans, procure attractive but useless equipments, by hook or crook...set a strong vision to rob money from innocent people. Sales people are helpless because they are not right persons to know the skills of well-built hooligans and cooked-up nutritionists, so they keep selling the membership. I am trying my best to bring awareness about this fact, i wish you also do the same to impoverish these robbers.

finally it got sealed!!! God knows what will happen to the hard earned money of innocent people. Heard that lots of money was due on gym. is it right at the cost of peoples money. Are they thinking of returning the money. At least try this time to be modest, "The management of Ministry Of Fitness"

I agree to the fatc that it is the worst gym, earlier I had joined a gym with lesser faiclites but the instructors were so good, that it compensated for everything!
I so much regret deciding to invest so much in such a third grade place. I think we all should file an FIR against them.

I have paid an advance for one whole year and now the doors are closed and no one even picks up the phone nor is anyone giving any assurance about when the gym is going to reopen.

Yes, me and few of my friends who joined MOF few months back are going to file an FIR this saturday and will also file complaint to Consumer court. If nothing happened after the complaint then will snatch out there equipments.
I joined this gym in Aug 2011 and barely within 15-20 days the gym had closed citing that its relocating and the members will be intimated via email or sms once the operations begin (somewhere in early Sep 2011). I did not get any information from them. When I recontacted, none of the contact nos. could be reached. All the posters who were thinking of lodging FIR, please tell what is the current update and if we should have any hopes of getting our money back. In case you are still planning to lodge an FIR, please count me in.

While I heard that they are using the brand name of a foreign Gym chain, there is no confirmation on this. In case any o[censored]s have any hint about this, we can consider complaining to them too apart from filing a FIR for cheating, playing fraud and breach of trust against the management. The worst part is that they have now discontinued their telephone connections[protected] too and the operation team and trainers are not picking up their mobile phones. Even if you go to old premises, the guard sitting there does not have any info about this Gym.

They moved all the quipments on 1st of oct from abw tower to a new location in sec 44. I also heard that they are opening a new gym somewhere near gold souk!! Guys, we need to track them, they might open gym in new name and we will never get our money back!!
