[Resolved]  Mira Bhayander Municipal Corporation — Water supply woes

Hi, I have been living in Mira Road since 2007, and since then have always faced water supply problem. Most of the structures have been given Completion certificates & NOCs by MBMC without checking if the building or society has proper water supply connections. Societies blame the MBMC that the supply from them is not regular. I have experienced that the supply from MBMC is not daily, but 3 times week only. Even when all reservoirs are over flowing and there are flooding situations, the MBMC has continued the 60% water cut. Request info on how to deal with this Govt Menace.

Hello, I am staying in Mira Road for past 10 years but water is the main issue where people always fight with each other and they maintain disorder. I wish to know why these problems occur only when any festivals are apporaching or during Diwali festivals. What our great leaders have to say on this. This do not occur when there is an election in hand. Why?????

We all residents are in mercy of the authorities.

Request the authorities to please look into this matter seriously.

Water Supply — LImited corporation water

This complaint is regarding water supply at my residence.the cooperation water supply is very irregular and very limited!We dont tend to get the supple for days and even if it comes very little which is not enough for usage.Water tanks are called very regularly and its become a huge lot of expense by now.i expect you to take action as soon as possible.

I tried to lodge complaint on BMC water dept help line Nos.26184173 & 26146852 but they were inaccessible - One No. does not exist & teh other was constantly engaged.

We are suffering without a drop of water – There is no drinking water as well . We are in a dire situation

Society Complaint — Unauthorise Legal Door

Dear All,

One of society member has made unauthorised legal door near our flat. He/she is staying in A wing, but he has broken society rules and regulations and built new door in B wing.

Society chairman and secretary are him to remove his unauthorized construction. But they are not able to do any thing against him/her.

Please help us out to solve this problem.

Society Complaint — Water Connection Municipality

Hello .. My Name is Husain Merchant and i'm the responsibile Citizen of India.. I satyed at the Cooperative Housing Society i Mumbai.. And our society has 10 Flats ..In which we resides on Ground Floor .. Now the incident what happen with us was quite strange..

As every where there is the water Crisis from last two Months.. Due to which water Supply was very limited as compare to earlier.. Every Persons has the Municipalty Water Connection at their home including mines..

Some Days Back Society Management Decided and Done Some changes in the Fittings which used to go at our Home Line .. and from that day we never got the water in our pipeline .. But we assumed that there is the Water Crisis that must be the reason for water not coming .. But Sumdays passed and i came to know that the Fittings had been Blocked. And when enquired i came to knew that we had to blocked everyones Water Connection So that the water Directly Goes to the Main tank which is at Ground Level, Which Was done Withour Any noticed or intimation..

And after Confirming to the society management we were assured that the water connection will be resume like earlier.. and we were quite but its been more than a month but still nothing has been done and we are still not getting drinking water from the supply..

Again confirmed by the Secretary of the society he reply in a very shrude manner stating that get the water purifier fixed at your home ... so that you can use the society tank water for Drinlking and etc use.. As i have also did the same .. Now this is really very starnge to understand that the Municipal water connection is the right of the Every Society person if he or she are paying their bills on time.. And getting the purifier does'nt solves the proplem...

As every one knows that summer has very less water to supply so as the sensible citizen everything should be saved and count .. But in our society it be the shortage of water or not everyone wants to waste the water and for thier mean reason they have blocked our pipe conection... And we stay at the ground floor and people staying at the 1st & 2nd floor everyone has the wate motor to get the water pulled so ow will the main tank get filled no one is ready to get quit withtheir water motor which is hampering the water tank ...

I just want to know is ther any law of the India that Municipality connection will not be provided and instead you should use the society water tank supply which is not used for decades and we are using the same thing sinces 15 days.. And i think if continue doing the same we might suffer with some or other disease .. So pls suggest what should i do to get the Problem solve and wher should i contact to getme propblem visible.

I am staying in Bhayander (East) at Cabin Cross Road for past 13 years water is the biggest problem. Water is the basic necessity of life without water the life is messed. I have already lodged complaint for water supply to MBMC but they are not ready to provide solution for the same.

Request if MBMC should be bought to tasks and performs there duty well.

As the reserviours had already overflowed during monsoon why are we people staying in bhayander has to suffered for the same

Request if you could please help us to get water supply daily at Bhayander (E) Cabin Cross Road from MBMC.

MERCY — NO ACTION FOR REGULAR COMPLAINT

Respected sir, we are complainted so many times about our road and their is no action. In this seacion water is ower flowing and we cannot walk any wear. DRINAGE is very dirty. so please take some action as soon as possible.

sir hmare colony ki road bahut kharab hai aur ground water dry ho jane ke karan bore bhi nhi chalte hai and tap water ki bhi supply nahi hoti hai .hamne is bare me munciple corpoaration me many time complain ki per iska koi hal nhi nikalta. sir please hmari help kijiae.ynha ki public bahut pareshan hai.
who ever from MBMC can read this, i stay at iraisa bldg right above mbmc office ward 3, and am surprised to see daily over flow of water from te office terrace for 1 hr or more why this wastage ?
It is brought your kind notice that we are Facing few genuine problems from our Municipal Corporation whose list is mentioned below.

1) The Garbage Vehicle which comes to our Road doesn’t has fix time so it is a request to send the garbage vehicle to our road on daily basis at fix time so that the environment is clean & neat .
2) The Water Supply to our Society Premises is very irregular, we get water only after 36 to 40 hours & that too sufficient supply of water is not given & the pressure of the water is very low so you are requested to give the water supply on daily basis as you are giving to other societies in Indralok Phase II & in New Golden Nest. Please send the person from water supply department to check the pipe line and get the pipe line repaired if necessary so that the force of the water is in force.
3) The road in front of our society is in a very bad condition, we cannot even walk properly on the road. Secondly our street does not have street lights, so please help us to reconstruct a good road with street lights. In monsoon season we cannot even walk properly on the road due to small & big patches on the road & water logging problem.
4) From April 2011 to till date we have not yet received the water bill from MBMC, so you are requested to send it immediately so that we can make the payment for the same or let us know in writing the procedure for obtaining the bill.
5) Please send your persons from the Health Dept. to our road & premises for spraying the pesticides for prevention from mosquitoes as due to the garbage & dirty streets there are mosquitoe problem in our area.
6) In Indralok Phase 3 to 7 there is no drainage system, the dirty water from all societies are collected somewhere in open ground. Please give us the drainage facility.
We are regular Property Tax payers then too we are not getting the basic facilities from the MBMC. Please consider our Application favorably and instruct MBMC to take immediate action & let us know in writing the steps they have taken for the solution of our above mentioned problems.

I am Staying in Mari Gold no- 2, Kanakia Beverly Park from Last 4 Months, Water Supply from the Main line comes at the Internal of 50 - 55 Hours, Due to this every alternate day we do not have any water in our Building, Due to this many flat owner buy water from Water supplier who supply borwal water, Which effect the health and many disease,

Kindly help us to overcome the Water problem.

BECAUSE OF SAME ORGANIZER USED RAIN WATER DRAINAGE (LOCATED OPPOSITE TO SARJAN TOER & ST FRANCIS SCHOOL) TO THROW FOOD WASTE AND ALL GARBAGE. WHICH IS NOW DECAYED & GIVING VERY BAD SMELL & LOGGING OF WATER IN SIDE CANAL IS DEVELOPING MOSQUITO PROBLEM.
FOR THE SAME ORGANIZERS BEEN INFORMED AFTER THREE DAYS TO MAKE ARRANGEMENT TO GET IT CLEANED BUT THEY HAVE NOT TAKEN ANY STEPS AND PROBLEM IS STILL PERSIST.
SO KINDLY TAKE NECESSARY ACTIONS TO GET READ OF AND MAKE OUR LIFE EASY.

BMC IS NOT WORKING PROPERLY. SEE THE ROAD OF INDRALOK PHASE III IT IS SO WORSE.
IT IS JUST LIKE GOVT. IS GIVING TROUBLE TO MIDDLE CLASS PEOPLE.

it is very bad to be a part of mbmc family bcos mbmc does have any care for those family mem who have made it possible for him to be head of all and never feel the important of platform provided by people of mira-bhayander to be one of most challenging post in their life which is been trashed by mbmc...?
Dear Sir/Madam,

I had paid my property tax using online facility using URL http://www.mbmc.gov.in/property/.
The amount has been debited from my HDFC Bank credit card visa account number but the receipt has not been generated, I have received only "Transaction Done" message.
They have written on website "If debit is made from bank account and receipt is not generated then please check update with MBMC web site, an update will be available in next 5 working days" but there is no update. What to do now?
The MBMC has dont have any link to Print Payment Paid Receipt also they dont have any contact and Email ID updated on their website.

Please look into matter, waiting for your reply.
