[Resolved] MTNL — deficiency in service | |
sir, my mobile (handset motorola L-7,cell no: [protected]) was stolen on 12th january,2009 at around 10 am. i gave a request to MTNL at 4:30 pm to block my SIM card(request no:R[protected] and according to their database my SIM was blocked at 5:15 pm. subsequently i registered an FIR with the police. when i again went to MTNL to reactivate my SIM, i was surprised to find that my balance which was Rs 550(at the time when phone was stolen) was reduced to just Rs 130. when i asked the customer care executive about this, (request no:R[protected] he gave me the following call details: at 5:34 pm (after my SIM was blocked) one call on the no:[protected] was made which lasted for 2817 seconds and Rs 432.40 was deducted from my account sir, i want to ask that how could this be possible that when i have given my request at 4:30 pm, a call can be made from that no. after one hour. moreover this no. seems to be an international no. (possibly the cell no. of saudi arabia) i would like to complain to you that because of the negligence on the part of MTNL i have incurred a loss of more than Rs 400. moreover since the number is an international no. i am mentally stressed because possilbly somebody can use this no. for wrong reasons. so please help me and suggest the future course of action. thanking you saurabh shah Was this information helpful? | |
