MTNL — Not given complete information about the product.

My mtnl no is 25378930. I have register a mtnl connection under a plan called 'combo plan'. According to this plan the company would provide us 400mb free usese of net, a landline connection, and a internet modem at a monthly rent of rs.249.
We got the landline connection on 1st of june and the internet connection on 23rd of june.
My internet use for the month of june was 563mb as per the bill and the 400mb of free download not deducted from it. Now the company is saying that the 400mb of free download will be provided proportionly by 23rd june to 30th june, which was not mention by company in any form written or oral at anywere in their documents.
Kindly help me, i m waiting for your prompt reply on the above problem.

internet not browesing since last 4 to 5 days, complaint has been registered for the same here are the complaints no 8496, 5359, 8620, 8496 for the telephone no 25162598 but no response, internet is for few moment & the again Same problem.

so please do the needful

MTNL — POOOOOOR Internet Connectivity

I have been using this since long. I have gone through various stages o[censored]P and down of connectivity issues. Some time I was very positive about the my complain. Hence I started from my home. What I did I called MTNL line man at home and told him to check the connecting lines. he told me that its due to parallel connection you have which is causing problem. He did some looping and directed house connection first to my computer and then to rest of the house.

I was happy with it and I got stability.

Since last few months I see my net connection is frequently disconnected hence I cannot download , I cannot talk & if I talk I loose the thread of talking


I have tried complaining I have searched DGM email but it has bounced back. I kept online complain on website I do not think they have replied I have tried calling DGM secretary they reply but I do not see any thing working.


I need some solution and help which can give me stability and keep me connected .

Any Hopes ….?

hello sir i am aksh mera pehle 599 trib combo plan chal raha tha magar pata nahi kaise mtnl vaalo ne chagke karke 250 trim combvo vaala plain laga diya jisme 400 mb per month download limit hai aur meine 2641mb download kar liya hai aur 250 trim combo mein 400 mb se jayada download kare to 80 paise per mb lagta hai aur meine 2641 mb download kar liya aise to mera bahut bill ho jayega aur mera plain mtnl vaalo ne automatic change kar diya please help me

i have taken mtnl connection which was not working since last 22sept 2009 and i have made several complain regarding this to mtnl which is not done by them till writting this message .i have 512 kbps plan but i am getting 256kbps speed .

If a MTNL customer who is already having two connections under any MTNL tarrif scheme before[protected], and one of his connection is for more than 5 (five years).
Why this Loyal Customer is not allowed to convert his existing second connection to this
“Additional landline to Loyal Customers of MTNL Mumbai” scheme and benefit with the lower service charges and free calls.
Why this discrimination for existing MTNL customers?
Can any one take it up with the MTNL authorities and answer this?

MTNL — My land line phone not working scince two and half month.

Hi, My landline phone no.[protected] is not working since two and half month somany time comlaint to office in nizamuddin but they are not taken any action, my buseness also efect from this acttualy this is my very old number and two and half month is very long period so i m disconecting from my custoomers.so kindly help me and give me advise what i willbe do.

It is a luck for many of the broadband user that they get 200-250kbps bandwith...
if your plan is 256kbps 599 combo
then you should be getting maximum of 30kbps...
but i dnt know people are getting so much bandwidth...i know no friend of mine who is geeting 30kbps.all are enjoying 200kbps -250kbps and paying the same amount that i pay but am getting only 30kbps...and thats so unfair of mtnl..
either every1 should get that speed or non...bcoz we all pay the same and desrve the same...

MTNL — no refund of security money

i have disconnect my mtnl phone on the month of may and i had reach mtnl office 3 to 4 times regarding the refund of money but they did`nt send the refundable money on my address.so,help me for this problem.my mtnl no. is[protected].

I am trying to apply for Mtnl broadband service. The customer care is too poor. I hate the way they communicate with their customers. And the number ' 1500 ' provided by the site and the c.c is a wrong one. When i dial it from my phone - it says "you seem to have dialed a wrong number, please check the number you have dialed"

MTNL — Wrong deduction of call charges MTNL

My cell No. is [protected]. Prepaid trumph card.
From 11th Dec. I opted for per second billing and paid the requisite charges of Rs. 45-
My first call after that was correctly billed i.e 62 ps. per 62 seconds.
But to my dismay the second call of 3.01 minutes was billed for over 39 rupees. where as it should have been Rs. 1.81,
When i contacted the help line they tried to avoid me saying the call details are not available on the system. But on insisting the executive (Mr. Rajesh) agreed that a surplus amount of Rs. 36 has been deducted and that he has noted a complaint.
Now even after four days nothing is rectified.
May I expect the MTNL to take some action ?
