MTNL — Poor Services

We have been complaining about our MTNL landline number since last 1 year. They have come couple of times and when the line is fixed it gets out of order next day. You can check the incoming or outgoing calls on our landline number for last 8 months, you will be suprised to note that there are no calls. And sad part is apart from landline, internet connection also sucks. We have been payin Rs 800 per month fixed for rentals. I have been trying to persuade my dad to give up this connection and take it of some other service provider but my dad is one of the followers of government and government supported agencies. But after realizing that MTNL doesnt take complaints seriously, he has agreed to use services of some other service provider. But this should not be the case, I request you to look into our problem and give us some solution. We are ready to do anything to get our landline and internet services without any hurdles. Further this is not any free service, we have been paying for it. My family is really exhausted of following up with MTNL on this.

my internet speed is very low for downloading and Surfing and my plan is of 320 kbps but i am getting upto 40 to 50 kbps of speed.
Elarlier when i got this connection i was getting speed upto 200kbps but not now

MTNL — Wrongly Charged For STD Calls when Not Made by mtnl

I've been using the mtnl service from a lonf period and my number is 26045285,
the problem is that i've been charged for the std calls that i've not made and i was also not aware that std calls can be made through my phone and after getting the bill and the call list, i tried several time to call few known std numbers but failed to do so becuase it can't make std calls and more over this phone is used just for broadband connection, after i've sent the mails to concerned people i got a call from them that sir u've made the calls and u've to pay the bill and i tried to tell him that how can std calls can be made when i'm not able to make these calls from my phone then he asked me to call a lady at the switch room, and she also said that std service is present since 2001 and i told her the same thing abpout i am not able to make std calls from my phone but she didn't listened and therefore then i asked her to please disable that service for the time being,
Please help in resolving the problem asap.

MTNL — number disconnected without any reason

My dolphin number [protected] is discnnected without any reason and is not active since 1st Feb. 2011.no officer from mtnl ready to say when number will restat. I am using this number since last more than five years. My prayere is that my number should be restarted with immediate effect and MTNL mubai be fined with heavy cost for trouble and harrasement caused to me.

Synopsis:

In the last week of Jan, two executives came at my place and threatened my father to pay the bill. Though, my father was ready to pay all the dues and wanted to continue the services. However, they were not ready to listen anything and threaten him of police. Since he is an asthmatic, due to massive argument we got hospitalized.



Today, I went to the branch office to complain against them and surrender the equipment. I had a word with Mr. S.S Tyagi for the same. He was not ready to listen anything and talking to me like as I murder red or did some big crime. He had thrown the application request and written complain on my face and was ready to slap. It was very insulting and humiliating, being a senior employee he should have to take it seriously and talk in a right manner,

What if something happens to my father due to this?

I would request you to please look into this matter and accepting a positive response.

i m also having d same problem; along with 58888010, i m also getting messages from 58888030 and my balance is detected about 700/- because of these unknown services in about last seven months. i have already made complaints to the customer care more than ten times and don't know what else to do . my mobile number is [protected] (Delhi) on which i m receiving these messages .

MTNL — Porting done but number not activated and 23 hours have elapsed

Sir,
I have submitted all the relevant documents for porting my number from vodafone to MTNL on 11th february 2011.On 17th february i received a message from MTNL that my number will be ported on 17th february at 10 PM.after 10 PM on 17th february,my vodafone number has stopped working and 23 hours has elapsed but my MTNL number has not been activated yet.TRAI has regulation that a number should not be kept out of service for more than 2 hours.It is given on MTNL website that after porting a customer will get Rs. 100 and 2000 local sms etc but none of the services has been started yet on my number.plz help.

Dolphin Prepaid connection – Unauthorised every month deduction of Rs 30
Hi i am Birender Singh, i am enjoying a prepaid sim connection of MTNL Dolphin. Since last 6 to 8 months they are deducting Rs. 30/- per month towards monthly subscription of music station without my permission. Despite several request to Customer Care for stopping this unauthorised deduction and additionally message sent for unsubscribe to 5777023, they have charged from me Rs.36 for 2 calls to dial 57777023 for unsubscribtion . It means I have lost today Rs. 30 for unnecessary subscription and 36 for unscribe. Please do the needful for closing this unauthorised deduction in future. In past I had faced these types of problem like jokes etc.

MTNL — Negligence

Dear Sir/Mam,
My consumer number is [protected].I would like to bring my recent experience in your consideration which is very bad. From 1st April till 14th April continuously my internet isn’t working. I have made a complaint three times through customer care number (1504). But your officer always assured me only. Also two times I have visited to the nearest telephone exchange & met with the concerned person (Mr. Deepak Kumar) to make him very much aware of my problem. Already its half month crossed and still I am waiting for my services. Due to this negligence I have suffered loss because I want to do some important pending works. So, I want to tell you that I won’t be submitting any internet charges for the April month.

MTNL — Refund of MTNL Broadband phone

Dear Sir,

My name is Vinod Kumar and my broadband no. 29912540. This phone was not woked in the month of Nov. and Dec. beacuse main cable faulty (around 250 phone ar diconnected) They generate the bill regularly every month. and after the two month phone was active but they disconnect the phone due to non payment. I have meet with Sr. Account Office in Sarita Vihar they demand a letter from my side for Waiver of two month bill and also demand for Nov. and Dec. payment for reconnect the line and they are giving the assurance for next two month bill adjustment of payment. They are not giving any adjstment and no any refund of my. Broadband connection.
