[Resolved]  MTNL Mumbai — top officials information to make complaints

MTNL mumbai web site does not give the details of top officials like general mangers, directors etc. MTNL Delhi web site have all these information. as a customer my complaints to help desk does not give response. Please provide directors or general mangers email id

Land line of MTNL is continuosly distrubance — MTNL landline not properly working

I would like to inform you that Mtnl land line number is not working properly, Please send any mtnl officer at home to cross verify

MTNL - IOL IPTV, Mumbai — Very poor service

I have been using this television service for the past 2 years. There wasn't even for a day it worked properly ( problems like blank channels, STB booting, image freezing, distorted images, are the some of the problems faced). They boast of having 180 channels, but have of them r blank and others are in the languages you are not familiar with such as chinese, japanese, russian. I continued with this service thinking that being such a big consortium they would improve thier sevice quality. But that never happened till now. I don't think they are going to improve any time. Their customer care service is always busy. if you get lycky, before you could hear them introducing themself line gets disconnected and you have to go through same procedure again. since it is a network through MTNL telephone, everytime you can hear them putting thier problem in MTNL Server. Some times you cannot see tv for 3 to eight days. This happened with me many times. Since yesterday (27th Nov. 2008), the STB is not booting as there is no signal from IPTV server. I am sure many who have taken IPTV also facing same problem. As for the solution to this menace i have decided to discontinue with this service. I am writing this for a general awareness, so that unsuspecting public should think twice before opting for MTNL IPTV
iptv is worst. i had a connection for past 13 months & not a single month without cmplaint. sometimes it does not work for 7 days. U need a backup support (cable tv). Still worst is u can't get thru their no.126000 for 3-3 hours. when u write e-mail - they never reply or even acknowledge. more still about channels like aastha & ndtv etc. which were coming earlier not there now for more than 6 months. Mgt. or staff have no answer about that except we are working on that. for how long? their own staff members on a responsible position suddenly resign. Think twice before going for this

MTNL - Tri Band — Inproper responce from MTNL Tri Band Support & Technical Team.

I have taken MTNL TriBand Service & my plan is 999/- + Service Tax...
Its been 15 days past my net is not properly working & non of the Above mention department's officers & technicians are taking it seriously...
Every time we call The online support we are given different answers and service is not provided...

We are not getting proper ADSL to the router & after 15 days of constant followup still the problem is not rectified & worked upon...

Our daily work affected due to the issue with the internet connection & we have to visit MTNL frequently. But still we are not getting any response nor any updates...

Hereby we request you to kindly guide with the further course of action...

I have taken MTNL internet connection in the mnth of feb wth a plan of (Combo 599) unlimited. .
Its been 30 days past whn i got a bill from MTNL it shows Rs. 7000/-, then i went there to chek out, they said your plan is (Rs. 250/mnth) instead o[censored]nlimited (Combo Rs. 599), they dont have any proof, whn i applied for that plan, i got a call from MTNL side regarding Combo (Rs.599 unlimited usage plan) i registered that plan (combo Rs. 599) i got a confermation no. 48000119 over the phone, Every time we call The online support we are given different answers and service is not provided, they are harrasing us to pay this without any proof.


Our daily work affected due to the issue with the internet connection & we have to visit MTNL frequently. But still we are not getting any response nor any updates...

MTNL Triband — slow speed

i have subscribed for the night unlimited 256 - 2 mbps speed monthly package...
but from the time i have got the connection my internet brwosing and downloading speed does not go more that 10-20 kbps, , which is not even one fourth of the package...i have registered several verbal complaints on the mtnl triband help line, but so far all in vain...

pls look into the matter.

MTNL Triband - Mumbai — Very Slow speed only 100 kbps

I availed of MTNL triband service on my residence number and opted for 849 NU plan. Initially for 3 months speed was good but suddenly since july 08 the speed began going down drastically. As on date the speed as checked on MTNL website is only 100 kbps. Since last six months i am complaining to them and following up with their pathetic and rude staff and as always the reply is " ho jayega". One engineer told me that due to NU plan the speed was slow so I changed the plan and still there is no difference. I think all Triband complainants should lodge a case against MTNL and ask for a full refund since it cannot evenb offer a basic speed of 256kbps as described by TRAI. all nos given by them are either busy or not answered including[protected] for speed[protected] gm )
These guys are frauds& cheaters 126000 and 26748900 are not functional from MTNL itself !!! and further the MTNL site till date publishes the same I think even MTNL are cheaters for advertising this service and claim that they know nothing.Some one shud tke them to the consumer court I am ready to back this with evidence.First I am on my way to cancell the iptv connection. MTNL need to wake up.

Mtnl Mumbai — Continuesly disconnection in pco [no:- 27401224 & 27401815]

TO MTNL officer,
I having BPCL Autorises Petroll pump named as Ravi Auto Services as Pimpri [Taloja] I have to number of PCO landlines i.e.27401224 & 27401815 but Their is contiuesly disconnection problems in above landlines so I can't provide better serivices to my customer & drivers and also problems in Credit card & Petro card swaping...
Kindly solve this problems urgently...
I have already made numbers of compalints about this, kindly pay attention to this and solve my problems...

MTNL - Dolphin, Mumbai — Rotten Network

This is regarding on going problem since more then a month. MTNL DOLPHIN, MUMBAI has gone stale and rotten. They are talking about 3G and stuff. But unable to give the basic service. 99% of the time there is NO NETWORK. So, CALL DROPS, VOICE CRACKS, PHONE IS SWITCHED OFF, OUT OF COVERAGE AREA and any dame thing that can happen. And nobody in MTNL-DOLPHIN is bothered to look into it. I think they should scrap off the entire network and sell it. IF YOU CAN'T PROVIDE BASIC COMMUNICATION WHY YOU SHOULD BE PAID ???? The MD may not be using MTNL-DOLPHIN. It is obvious that sombody has been bribed for creating such a situation.

MTNL — Billing and other issues

They have completely messed up with my case and I think that there is no one educated in MTNL. In April 2009 I applied for disconnection of my number 22098303 which I was holding from last 8 years as we were planning to move from our current residence. Few days later we had to cancel the plan to shift and within 20 days I applied for re-connection. Even after constantly chasing and assured by authrities to give us the same number 20098303 they totally fumbled and made things worse by assigning our number to sombody called Prem Sharma. In order to hide their mistake they gave us almost a similar but new number 22096303. We still lived with it as it was expecting from them and thought that we longer be having issues now. To my surprise when I received my bill for the month of June' 09, I found that they have charged me with TRI-BAND charges Rs. 491/- and last outstanding of Rs. 1672/- as it seems that these charges are outstanding on the person who last owning the number 22096303. What should I do now? Whom should I approach? I'm completely helpless...please make a way out or do something about my issue.
As per policy, they can't issue your number to another person for atleast 3 months.

You can contact the commercial officer and explain the problem personelly. they have meeting timings.

Also you can apply the change number request.

Billing issue, you can call to customer care and ask the details.

This govt. co. you have to take care your own, and run behind them, but 1 thing sure, they are not sending excess billing.

In private, these excess billing cases are more.

Mtnl Mumbai — GPRS not working

I have bought a new Samsung SGH-i450 mobile with mtnl connection.
I have requested for GPRS but even after activation it is not working. It says packet data connection not avialable.
I have taken MTNL internet connection in the mnth of feb wth a plan of (Combo 599) unlimited. but the bill of.in the month of May and June 2009 generated wrong.i paid 550 by idbi cheque.but it is not concluded in my bill.i complain many times nd i have visited two time in the MTNL office. but i could not got any response. One STD no. is repeated again and again. and my inter net was not in working near about 15 days in the month of may. i complained many time . but no response. after this they generated the bill of may and june.

Our daily work affected due to the issue with the internet connection & we have to visit MTNL frequently. But still we are not getting any response nor any updates...

MTNL, MUMbai — Triband not working from day one

Dear Sirs,

My wife (mrs. Neelima P. Ambadkar) opted for "Triband" internet connection offered by MTNL Mumbai in Sept'08. The Comapany sent in its line man with the modem Make "Sterilite" and fixed the same. But the modem upon installation could not connect with MTNL server and the internet acess has failed.

We have been following up with the Dahisar exchange of MTNL the people over there keep promissing but no help seems to be comming through.

Finally i complaint on their e-mails and help desk the contacts at these places direct me from one office to another but no help. The internet has not been acessible for nearly past 9 months.

At last today i thought of taking your help in reaching our cry to the MTNL authority for getting started.

MTNL Triband in Bhy(E) — Poor Connectivity of MTNL Triband

Inspite of several complaints & follow ups there is no reply / action from MTNL to eradicate this issue of connectivity of Triband. Every few minutes the connection freezes up & I have to switch off the modem & again switch is on just to get the connection again for next 5mins. The cycle goes on & on... with no response from MTNL...

Request you to kindly resolve this very critical issue.
Please send me postpaid plan internet connectivity with gprs and win2000 operating system.
