[Resolved]  Municipal Corporation Bangalore — Problem of stray dogs

Hi,

I am a resident of Koramangla 8th block, 1st cross, 1st main(just behind reliance fresh). That lane has got around ten stray dogs which keep on howling, barking, crying the whole night and residents are not able to sleep. Can somebody please take those dogs away from that lane? I dont understand what the govt in Bangalore doing. Isnt it the responsibility of Municipality to take care of these things?
Please take actions as soon as possible. If any more information is required, mail me.

Ya, here comes Mr. Ethical complaining about Bangalore's civic services. Like it was great from where he comes from. Change your attitude mister. Be a part of the solution by complaining and raising your concern with the *right* people rather than blatantly vent out your frustrations on an irrelevant forum.
Am a new resident of Rustam Baugh Layout 1st Cross behind Manipal Hospital. Today morning I was bitten by a street dog while walking. Came to know from people out there that it's a menace and had attacked many. No choice, have to rush to ‘Manipal’ for an anti-rabies treatment.

FYI….I have already raised this issue with CUPA to handle these street dogs as this could happen to my kids or anybody out there. Am scared now especially with kids going to school.

Request respective authorities to take this issue seriously and do something about this once for all.
I am a resident of 1st D CROSS, REMCO Layout, Vijayanagar 2nd Stage, Bangalore. There are lot's of stray dogs in this road and very difficult to move around. They attack as a group and thus very less chance of escaping from them. one or the other get bitten by dogs quite often. Please take necessary action.
I am a resident of Banaswadi, 6th main, ex servicemen colony. There are around 8 to 10 stray dogs keep on howling, barking, crying the whole night. Last week few dogs chased me, i lost control of my bike and fell down. I have a fracture on my left hand and my laptop is fully damaged. Please please it is the time the civic authorities take some serious actions to kill these dogs.
Street dogs are a problem I agree and we have several dozens in Sahakar Nagar area which some times are prone to be unfriendly. A major incentive for their presence is a set of so called animal lovers who end up feeding them every morning in street corners. A worse problem which is easier to address is the large number of pet dogs that people take around to walk about here and let them defecate on the newly tarred roads. These are large well fed dogs and do excrete huge amounts as well. The municipal corporation should enforce existing laws which ask people to clean up after their dogs . many peopel may not be aware that dogs' stools can conatin dangerous infective agents that could affect humans seriously and that it is not just the undesirability of stepping on smelly dog that oen shoudl complain about
I am stay in 2nd main maruthi laytout, BTM 1st stage.. there are some where around 15 to 20 stray dogs.. which keeps in barking all night... People are not able to sleep in the night...
Can anybody let me know how to get rid of this problem...?
Hi, I am a resident of Ranganatha Colony, OPP. BHEL, Mysore Road, i am complaining about the street dogs and specially a new dog which has been bought by my neighbor. This new dog keeps barking round the clock. Inspite of decent approach with the owner has not helped me anyways. Personally i am working for BPO 100% i work in night shift, because of this dog i am not getting proper sleep in the day and also i am not able to concentrate on my job.

I want some to take this up and resolve this issue.
I stay in maruti nagar, Madivala. There are around 30 stray dogs in this lane, all big in size and can attack anyone. One almost got hold of me when coming back home from office last week. Yesterday I saw my neighbours bike seat all destroyed by these dogs. Is there anyway to get rid of these animals, I am pretty sure children would be their target and very hard to rescue. It is very sad to know the govt doesnot take any step in this matter.
i am resident of L.B. SHASTRY NAGAR near HAL Old Airport. It is very sad to know the govt doesnot take any step in this matter. This area has got around 200 & above stray dogs which keep on howling, barking entire night, crying the whole night and residents are not able to sleep.many peopel may not be aware that dogs' stools can conatin dangerous infective agents that could affect humans seriously and residents have many small kids who go for play home & pre school by walk that it is not just the undesirability of stepping on smelly dog & bitten by stary dogs. Can somebody please take those dogs away from that area. I dont understand what the BBMP/Corporation/CUPA in Bangalore doing. Isnt it the responsibility to take care of these things. Please take actions as soon as possible.

Municipal Corporation Bangalore — Street Lights are On during day

The street Lights are on during the day time almost on all days. I could see the lights at Indranagar, Marathalli junction around 10AM on all days. Pathetic is Scheduled Electricity cut because of shortage. High time Government bodies are educated about Energy saving and its importance.
Hi Officals,
There are lot of stray dogs walking around in OMBR, PRS Layout in Banaswadi. Is there a way to get them picked up since they are growing strong eating the meat dumped by couple of Non-Veg selling stalls which has sprouted in OMBR Layout road.
Stray dogs are dangerously attaching walking people mainly during evenings and nights. It has become really hard to walk on road due to fear of multiple stray dogs attacking since there is not contral over there growth and no one is taking any action to contral there growth in Banaswadi area.

Please help to catch them and take them away. If any one knows complain phone number please publish over here.

Thanks
Deepak

Dear Sir/Madame,

My name is "HARISH RANGWANI" and I am a resident of NO. 161C, 3RD. MAIN, 8TH. CROSS, PADMANABHA NAGAR, B.S.K. 2ND. STAGE, BANGALORE-560070.

In my area there are lot's of STRAY DOGS which come up the Staircase of our Building and spoil it with Urination & Potty. This happens basically due to Cleaning Staff of Municipal Corporation in our area leaving the doors opened while they come and ask for money every month for cleaning the streets and for which they are already paid by the MUNICIPAL CORPORATION.

I requested the lady who cleans our street to clean our Staircase and close the door before leaving. She literally refused to clean the same and infact threatened that she will not pick-up garbage either from downstairs our building.

I request you to please kindly look into the matter and resolve this issue of STRAY DOGS & CLEANING our street. As I consider it as an harrasmente by the Municipal Corporation employees, who are not doing their duty as required.

Just to inform you that I never refused to pay the lady in order to help her with her poor status, but if the job is not satisfactory, hence no payment can be made and infact I would be forced to file a law suit against the MUNICIPAL CORPORATION at the Consumer Forum.

Awaiting your reply.

Thanks & Best Regards,
Harish Rangwani.

Dear Sir,

We are staying in one of the Sobha Apartments in Bellandur. Since that area has many
sobha projects, the builder has made the roads very nice. But now there are so many street vendors
and stray dogs which have made the area very dirty. Opposite our apartment Sobha Mayflower, there is big site a one guy has pur a small cart of his and selling tea. Every morning he sweeps a portion of that pavement and leaves all the garbage like tea cups etc in the corner of the road and in a week it is a big pile. This morning when I told him not to do that, he simply burnt the whole garbage and left the whlole place dirtier.
Added to this are so many stray dogs and their puppies.

Who in the munipality can I complain this to and get some action taken????
