hi,
ashima from ranjeet nagar, south patel nagar new delhi ...
the dogs are a menace here and move in packs ...
one will stop counting the no in a short walk of 1 km after 20+
and if both the entry routes are considered its will cross 35 ...
its impossible to walk in the early hours of the day or after 10 pm ...
there are ppl working in BPO;s and restaurants who have late hours ...
NGO s talking about saving the animals is great but...
who will talk about saving the ppl who have to walk ???
some of the have skin ailments and some fight amongst themselves
and bite each other and then roam around with open wounds ...

pl do sothing about them and take them away to a shelter or some such ...
cant even let the kids go down to play ...
to top it alll they sit in the entrance of buildings barring the way to beat the heat ...

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am a resident at T-806/C-6, 2ND FLOOR, SUKHDEV NAGAR, KOTLA MUBARAKPUR, NEW DELHI-110003. Due to the nature of my work i come home between 11:45pm-12:00am and at times 04:00am in the morning.One of the dog have grown extremely ferocious these days and attacking people going home by this time. Once tried to bite me but somehow i was able to escape myself and i think Children in our area is also not safe in such atmosphere.Just because of this one dog other dogs are trying to follow the same pattern.It has really become difficult to walk in the street these days.i hope your organisation can do something about this increasing menace.I really wish something can be done soon.

It's my humble request to the MCD to kindly take necessary action immediately and send the Dog squad to avoid this problem.

I would like to draw your kind attention towards very serious problems of annoying stray dogs in our area i.e street no. 17, shiv chowk area, Ranjit nagar, new Delhi – 110008.
We are highly troubled due to maddening dogs in our street. Due to the dogs even we cannot sleep in night. And Children of our locality are also not safe in such atmosphere. Many of the dogs are very Dangerous, they bark on person passing through street without any reason. They have bitten many persons unreasonably.

They are increasing in number day-by-day. And their alarm / horror is also being spread constantly.

It has been causing of lot inconvenience to the common people of our area. Inspite of several complaints by different people of our area, no action has been taken so far.

You good self is requested to look into this matter & take an immediate action of lifting these stray dogs immediately.

We would like to bring this to your kind notice that approximately 10 stray dogs are there around our lane. Due to these dogs, the residents of whole locality are facing regular problems.There are two stray dogs in the colony which chase and try to bite each and everyone who enters the colony, Recently, one of these two dogs have bitten people and posses threat to others, Whole night barking, biting people, unhealthy environment. People cant even leave their homes, Stray dogs are a menace. Since the roads are busy with vehicles, these dogs could create accidents. Someone being chased could run towards a speeding vehicle. Also these dogs are a big threat to small children. Though there are many dogs in the area but 1 dog in the following area, needs to be taken care of immediately. Before something serious happens, the authorities must deal with it. The dog squad must remove this dogs immediately.

They even keep barking through out the night resulting in lack of sleep to us. Please help!!

We request the Dog Squad of MCD to kindly take necessary action immediately and send the Dog squad to avoid this problem.

Yes I agree these stray dogs must be removed from our society, even though I am a dog lover and have two great dogs of my own. I live in S block GK 2 and I just cannot take my dogs for a walk as there are these stray dogs hiding under the cars which one cannot see. They come out and attack my pets while I walk. This is very upsetting as my doctors bills are increasing, but more painful for me is seeing my dogs bitten by these strays.
I think the MCD should remove every single stray from our society so that our children can go out to play and our elderly citizens can go for walks in peace and not in fear.
I have phoned up the MCD and complained. They take my address and promise to remove the stray dogs and I am given a complaint number but that is all that happens.
These stray dogs cannot be put up for adoption as they are so ferocious. Some other action should be taken.

Stary dogs in Maharana Pratap Enclave/ Chanderlok Enclave, Pitampura, Delhi - 10034 have grown extremely ferocious these days. They bark on and have even bitten passers by. I request the MCD to kindly send a Dog catching squad and help the society residents.

Not only this, we could find about 4 to 6 stray dogs moving in groups at night putting at risk all the peoples who are having their evening/late evening walks in the area. These dogs are very ferocious and particularly attack peoples who are walking alone at night.

I have too many dog lover in my society though they have their own dogs and they feed stray dogs too. i too appreciate their nice doing to fed stray animal but they are feeding them near my house(i m on first floor and second floor peopl;e too fed them) and i have my old granny and my young kids. it is become nearly impossible to keep them away from my stairs.

Help me n tell me some easy ways to keep them away from my stairs.

Hi, I am a resident of Gagan Vihar, East delhi. There are many stray dogs here and in nearby societies (Jitar Nagar, Parwana Road). It has become nearly impossible to walk on streets without dogs growling at you. Please send a dog catching squad here so that we have our peace of mind while walking on the streets.

I am a resident of Lajpatnagar IV, Delhi -110024. The number of cows & stray dogs in has increased considerably in past few years. Cows are innocuous; however stray dogs are a big threat. Stray dogs in our area are becoming wild these days, they bark, charge and try to bite people passing by, jump over the roof of the resident's cars and spoil the vehicle body by putting scratches on them. Today when I went to my cab, a dog had been sitting under the car, whom I could not see and when I opened the door he charged at me, seeing this, one more dog charged at me. I somehow managed to save myself from injury but this indeed is a very serious problem in our area when people go for evening walks or morning walks and to kids playing outside their houses. Also sometimes, when people buy eatables from the nearby market, stray dogs follow them and sometimes attack or charge to get the food. I request the concerned MCD officials to kindly take the required action and save us from this danger.

There are 3-4 dogs in our society which are really a nuisance for us in BANK ENCLAVE, NEAR SHASTRI NAGAR, GHAZIABAD. NEAR KAMAL MANDIR. PIN CODE - 201002.They bark on anybody and have even bitten people in the colony. I request the MCD to kindly send a Dog catching squad and help the society residents.

eDr.Lokesh, living in Dr.Baba Saheb Ambedkar Hospital's residential complex, sec6 Rohini; have a serious complaint regarding the menqce caused by ever increasing number of street Dogs in the complex. They have beaten many passerby and the residents of the society. I think many have loged complaints too. But i dont know why is it not rectified yet. We r really scared stepping down in the night here. Plz Help.

the dog menace has increased manifold in Sector 30 of Faridabad and the life of people very difficult and esp for children who cannot walk without the help of elders. Only yesterday. some of the dogs pounced upon my son who somehow managed to escape and on one of the days, some of them tried to jump over me also but I managed to terrorize them. Not only that, one of the dogs bit even a security guard of the sector. The problem needs immediate solution.

There are 6-7 dogs in each lane in Lajpat nagar -1, E block.Thay have caused so much nuisance and they regularly attack passerbyes and society people around.they have bitten so many children and chase every single vehicle passing from their.even they have bitten people silently passing by.I live in a society where we have many dog lovers and have their own dogs even I have one pet of mine.It is very difficult even to take them for a walk as the street dogs attack them and their owners.As a result they have bitten many pets and creating a a very unhygenic environment.
We cannot go for walks, we cannot come to our home at late nights and there are several issues related to these dogs..thay bark whole night as a result which disturb our sleep..

I highly request to MCD authorities to take a serious action to avoid any big incident in future.People can even die because of them.
Please take these stray dogs out from this area and send to any animal shelter.

SADIK NAGAR CGHS DISPENSARY AT SADIK NGR SEC 3, NEAR SIRI FORT CROSSING IS FACING A BAD PROBLEM OF DOG MENACE. Stray dogs with puppies bark scare & bite the visiting patients, many of whom are helpless chidren & elderly.

I'm too fed up with the Street dogs menace in our area as repeated complaint's seems to fall on deaf ears. These stray
dogs have created a nightmare for the local residents and daily someone is getting bitten by these ferocious dogs.

I really wish MCD wakes up and takes prompt action this time!
