[Resolved]  Myindiashopping.com — item not delivered, no refund

Bought an item from this place four months ago, never arrived. Chased them up multiple times, refused refund every time as they believed its not their fault if postal service has lost item. I as a last resort had to threaten to ask local political friends to intervene (of which I have none it was an empty threat) - they then had the cheek to refuse refund until I say sorry!!! Total frauds, have taken my Rs. 418 and will not give it back, I want everyone else to avoid these scum bags.

We are aware of the delay and we have complained about the package to the post office and we have promised you that the amount will be refunded, but for that we need to get a reply from the post office or the package has to come back. No package has ever been lost, though it has been delayed in returning back

A registered package can't vanish into thin air and neither are we are not trying to cheat you on some bucks.

And sir, please dont scare us telling us about your political friends as we are not doing anything illegal here and we have government documents for the dispatch.

Sorry for the inconvenaince and if you are ready to say a sorry for the scary email about your politics friends, we will be issuing a refund for the package today itself, if not you can surely take other measures.

Guess what? I never received the order. Doesn't surprise me, as an honourable online shop like anyone else would just have refunded me the money, but Indians do have a tendancy to only see the smaller picture. I instead used INDUNA and had no problems. The people who run myindiashopping are SCUM, and I am glad to see that other people have also voiced their complaints here. Hopefully now people will think twice before even thinking o[censored]sing such a SCUM website. To whoever the managing director is, you are a #### GANDU PIECE OF ####.

Hi all Valuable Consumers

I am the managing director of this company and we have dispatched the product on time and as per customer it might be true that it is not delivered yet.

This package was a registered package and is not returned back to us either. Some packages send via postal department takes upto 5 months to get returned if the customer missed the shipment. We cannot issue a refund unless we get a proper answer from the Postal department on what happened as we cannot face a loss on a package which was missed by customers fault or some other issue from the postal department.

It is so unfortunate that the postal department takes so much time on missing packages communication which in turn creates problem with sellers and consumers.

We still informed the customer on our online chat that it will be refunded if we dont here from the post office when he has come up with statements that he will use his political friends to create an issue which he has agreed was a scary email. He has also used abusive languages like thieves, dacoits on email and we are not sure why when we have always responded to him and requested to wait for a reply from the postal department.

We dont run our business by anybody's political back ground and if we have send a package registered we need to get a reply back from the concerned before taking a decision.

Now that you have taken that extra step of sending us threatening emails and have started posting inappropriate feed backs, you will have to wait for a response and confirmation from the postal department or say a word of sorry as a gentleman to close and issue a refund.

There are other measures also which you can use to get the money back which you can try but we can go only by our companies policies and with customers co-operation. We are here to serve our customers not to cheat them.

Online business and bound to get feedbacks like these from customers who doesn't want to co-operate and we are extremely sorry that that your package is part of this delay.

Its not the place where anyone can come say anything. every post of the customer is their agony. U never thinked your customer as valuable. Its proved in my case. That you never did in my case. Its a mater of communication. Then only your customer have faith in you. Regular purchaser of this site. one or two times there has been a delay. Like the way they respond to queries and their service has been good. Will have long time association with them.

Worst online shopping experience ever.

I have ordered a DVD from them, and nobody have any idea where it is. The only thing they know is that it has been dispacted days ago, and somehow the delivery is not there responsibility. As per there customer service, there role ends when the product is dispatched and if the customer gets the item on time (or if at all), is not there problem.

There only response is we will raise a ticket and will get back to you if and when they get a response. And the arrogance in which they talk and the value they give to there customer is extremely bad. And after just 5 mins, they don't want to talk to me any more and want to go to the next customer and apparently they don't have time to waste for a customer who already brought something from them.

First of all, the site was very hard to navigate, but some how i made the purchase, that was the single biggest mistake of my life. And to top it all, there customer service is the worst. They are not even near willing to help us in any way.

We have clearly communicated with you on the below chat and we said we will register a complaint and let you know as soon as we hear from the company and also we informed that you can cancel the order by not accepting it and we will issue a refund once the package is returned.

We responded to your chat and we clearly informed you that we will register a complaint and follow up for which you responded with inappropriate language against our female staff for which we will be registering a case against you early next week.

We won't let anybody defame us unneccsarily, for example a complaint above from Mr.Gopinath is valid and we didn't say anything against it, but this is just not acceptable.

This is just a small issue which you have made big with your inappropriate language.

myindia shopping is the worst fraud site in india.i got trapped in it twice in it placing 2 orders within a short time.they will use every trick to postpone ur shipment.but the truth is they will never ship it all.

anush response for the customer werent bad.those customer peopler cheats.couldnt give a refund for their mistake.i could not believe such people exist in net .

i had given my orders on may 26th and june 9th, they say that the items r damaged and is not ready to be shipped.no reply for refunds.

The product ordered by this customer was an imported edition which got delayed by post and has been delivered already. We understand the customers concern, but we cannot do anything about postal delays. The first order which the customer has mentioned here was edited by him for changes and has been pro-longed due to non-proper communication. Kindly communicate with via email for a solution.

The person Anush whom you have mentioned here will surely face the legal proceeding as he is trying to defame us with fake posts and is not acceptable.

I agree to all the customers comments here. I did the worst mistake in my whole life. Even after reading these complaints, i went ahead and then ordered. Now I am also in same situation. They have neither shipped my order, nor refund. And no response to my emails . calls, online chats.

Absolutely cheating website. Their one and only aim of running this online website, is just to lure some new customers and then get the money and then do not respond at all.


I tried to raise one more new complaint. And it is somehow, not getting published. So I am voicing my concern here only.


I have placed an order ( numbered : ) on 31st Jul 2014 which includes 4 Audio CDs. Before placing the order, I have contacted them regarding availability of these 4 products. Only after they confirmed stock availability, I have placed the order. Despite of this confirmation, they took 12 days to dispatch 2 audio CDs. That time, they have promised me to dispatch remaining 2 audio CDs ASAP. But till date ( 18th Sep ), it has not been shipped. I was keep following up with them over email every now and then regarding the order. But they were keep giving excuses regarding the CDs saying, they do not have prodcuts in hand, it will take some more time to get the products, etc ... After waiting for 50+ days, I have asked them to refund my order.

Since then, there are no replies to my emails. They dont pick up the call also. Just for cheating new customers, they have put up some "customer care number" ( as if they really care for customers ), web chat service ( this will always be offline ) and finally email ( where no one responds once you pay them money ).

I seriously ask you all to stay away from this site. If you see some products available in this site, but not on other websites, please think twice before ordering. If products are not available on most reliable sites like Amazon, Flipkart, then its highly suspicious.

I have even got this websites owners gmail address and tried to contact him. Still no reply.

So this is how they CHEAT customers. At first place, if they do not have product, they should have intimated me when I have inquired. Secondly, after waiting for more than 50 days, they should at least refund the amount.

So it clearly shows their attitude towards cheating. Cheating is their main mantra / source of income. Thats why they could not refund.

This website "myindiashopping.com" should be closed down immediately. It is the worst experience i have since it started online shopping. The company only seems to be collecting money from customers and not giving any services. I had ordered some DVD/CDs from this site (order no. [protected]) on 1st Oct, 2014 worth Rs. 500+, but till date i have not received the material nor any intimation regarding status of the order. I have emailed them twice with no response. Telephone calls made to them are never picked-up.

I wonder how this company is evading audits for such serious defaults. I have already lost my money and would like to spread awareness to all Indian and Overseas customers that THIS IS A FRAUD SHOPPING SITE, PLEASE DO NOT BUY ANY GOODS FROM THEM, YOU WOULD ONLY LOOSE YOUR VALUABLE MONEY AND GET NOTHING OUT OF IT. All the customers who have given 5 star rating for this site are the website's own people.

I am going to take serious action against this site if i don't get refunded in next 5 days.
Just to add more experience about "myindiashopping.com", after registering my complaint on 2nd Nov on this website, they dIspatched less than half of ordered material just to display on their website that the material has been despatched. Their web site does not have any facility to view the pending order and its status. What worse can one expect from an online shopping site. This is the very reason "myindiashopping" does not accept COD. They wan't to grasp money from customer and then deliver as per their own sweet time and in bits and pieces.

I have already started investigating about the auditors / CA of this company. Meanwhile, i again warn everyone that THIS IS A FRAUD SHOPPING SITE, PLEASE DO NOT ORDER ANY GOODS FROM THEM, IT WILL ONLY ADD TO YOUR FRUSTRATION AS ALL COMMUNICATIONS DOORS WITH THIS WEBSITE ARE ALWAYS CLOSED.
