[Resolved]  Naaptol — Selling of cheap and defective products

I bought the item titled, 'EPhone Ultra Slim Multimedia Mobile' priced at INR 4999.00 with INR 200.00 as shipping on October 10. I received the phone on October 15, but it was in a real horrible shape. To my surprise, it was a Chinese Mobile Phone not costing INR[protected] in the market as MRP, whereas they had mentioned the MRP to be INR 14995. I contacted them today on October 16, and they refused all they said.

The phone has a very poor battery life, of only 16 hours standby and 1 hours of talktime.

When I had spoken to an executive on the phone on no. [protected], they simply told me that they would get back with help from the Technical Support soon.

They have mentioned about Refunding the Product over here:

NAAPTOL — Delivery of Defect product - Green Apple MP3 Player

I have purchased Green Apple MP3 player from Naaptol. After receiving the product i got shocked . It is in very worst quality and it is just like a plastic toy with so many scratches and corners are faded ( as old as 1 year)
If there are any minor defet then i can manage. But the product is absolutely not fit for anything. Following are the defects.

1. Could not connect the device using USB cable. So i cannot upload any files to the product.

2. Battery charge lasts for only 10 to 15 minutes.

3. One side of ear phone is not working.

4. The corners of the product are in scratch/faded condition.(as very old one).

I could not understand ,how come a product can be sent to a customer with these many defects , without testing.

So please do not go for naaptol at any cost. Being a middle class you may want to buy a cheaper one, but you will be totally cheated and you will loose your money.

I was promised or probably lied a refund against a defective Mp3 player worth 2099.INR delivered from Naaptol to me, after going through lots of hassles & numerous calls to Naaptol, they finally advised me to send the product back to them (POD attached with this complaint). The product was delivered to them on 20/03/2010 (as mentioned in POD), since then I have still been waiting to receive refund from Naaptol.
Tried every thing in the book to make them spare attention on my case but employees over there it seems just don't give a damn, even tried warning them about "Consumer Complaints" but they just wont care especially these three people mentioned below, they claim to be head of some department,

green apple — defective MP3 player

Hi,

I have bought a new GREEN APPLE MP3/MP4 PLAYER online on naaptol.com.

I didn't recieve any user manual or installation CD for tha player.
and the player is not working at all. Now It's like a toy mp3 player which I bought by paying Rs 2100/-. (It's a defective piece, not even recognized by computer)


Please do the needful so that I could get the replacement or repayment of the money.

Naaptol — poor quality and non functional items

I ordered a package of car vacuum cleaner+tool kit+Dent remover from NAAPTOL.COM. My order number was 818273 and order value was Rs 2199.00. I was disappointed to see quality of the products.The car scratch remover failed to remove even smallest scratches, vacuum cleaner was not sucking anything at all and in the tool kit screw driver was freely rotating on its axis. All of the three products were of no use and of extremely poor quality. When i informed customer executive of Naaptol.com about the issue and asked about the cash refud procedure then he said only replacement is possible for the products and i have to bear cost of transportation. I regret to say if such is the quality of products then these people should stop the business of online fraud.

NAAPTOL EPHONE AP3 — non replacement of defective mobile

I have bought a cell phone from Naptol.com which I received on 23-aug-10. Within 7 days of receiving the phone it stopped working. After that I have called the complain department,they said i should send them the phone through any other courier. So I had sent them the phone on 24-sep-10 through maruti courier. the courier came return saying that closed then next day i personaly went to deliver but then also it was closed then after few days i went again so it was open so i delivered it on 4-oct-10.They said that i will recieve replacement within 10days. I called them on 14-oct-10 Naptol People, they will replace my phone and send a new phone to me within 7 working days as they had told me at the time of purchase that in case there is any problem with my phone within 6 months they will replace it as mentioned in the advertisement.Again, after 7 days they told me that you will get it within next 7 days which I didnt. Then again I called up after 7 days, they told me the same thing. Last time I called them is on 19thNov-09,30.11.010 & 16.12.10 and they told me that I will positively receive the phone in a week time. I have not got it till NOW. I tried calling so many times but they speak rudely and are not at all helpfull. I am feeling that I am being cheated.
