On Jan 7th of 2012 I ordered a product "Philips Stereo PC Headset SHM1900/00" (Rs.461) From naptol.com
The payment was made through PAYMATE and it was a successful transaction.
After waiting a month I emailed the customer service asking why they did not shipped the item.
They informed me that the amount is already refunded on 16th of Jan and added the following sentence.
"Usually an e-mail intimation is sent to our customers when an order gets cancelled however, due to a technical glitch you have not received it."
After sending my Bank Statement for the month, they are convinced that the amount was never refunded.
Even after many emails and phone calls, They did not solved the issue.
I wish to approach the consumer court for the following reasons.
1. naptol.com advertised a product which was out of stock for a long time.
2. naptol.com made the customer pay the amount knowing that the stock was not avilable.
3. naptol.com did not intimated the customer about the unavailability of the product.
4. naptol.com cheated the costumer by not refunding the amount.
I wish to receive the actual amount+ phone call charges + other expenses from them.
