Dear sir
i hear by say that nagappa motors which is the famous hero honda show room in chennai is not worth beeing a authorised service center in any aspects... i gave my hunk for service to nagappa motors several times none of the problem is solved.. in turn they use to create new problem in my bike.. the unsolved problem in my bike is many even though i paid plenty of money towards my bike service... Pls take some action against such irresponsible money minded dealer so that they may not use the name of HERO HONDA AUTHORISED SERVICE CENTER to fool hero honda bike owners...

I have been a good customer of Nagappa motors since last 15 years now. they used to be good., but now., they have gone worst to a level of cheating their customers in all aspects. My splendor bike's engine ceased and I spent 12, 000 for the New bore. I am also regular in giving my bike to services. I don't drive fast since its a new engine. But ., after getting my bike back from a service, I felt something wrong in the engine and it gave black smoke.On enquiring local mechanics., they have analysed and said it's because there was a mistuning or wrong assembling in the engine and they can't do any repairs to that.So, I went back to nagappa motors and said about this. I also got a bad sound like "auto" noise from the engine. Later he repaired and gave me back the bike saying a small core is replaced. I asked what's wrong., he said some lame reasons. I have given atleast 5-8 services after that and also spent thousands of rupees, but the engine sound is getting worst. I spent almost 25-30k in last 1 and half year. they have literally swallowed all my money.Moreover, That mechanic is persuading me to sell my bike to someone for 10 K. this is to hide their fault in servicing. he also fooled me by saying that the sound is not from the engine and because of the mutguard nut. Knowing these things i have been giving my bike to nagappa motors, only because of the reason that I'll one day make them repend for their fault.I have earlier told them, that one day i'll donate my bike to their head office. I am now going to donate the bike to nagappa head office along with a letter about my bike's condition. let's see what they do..

yes i agree to this. these ppl have one of the worst customer service executives that they are reluctant to answer the queries of the customers and answer in a rude way.. better act now..
Yesterday it was such a disgraceful day for me. My happiness in purchasing my dream bike was totally foiled by your two executives 1. Executive RAMA, 2.Senior executive CHITRA .
Yesterday[protected]it was my delivery date to get my bike -Passion Pro, I was asked to pay addition of rupees 254 for insurance purpose . They have put ICICI insurance without intimation. when I enquired about it Executive Rama gave me zero response in addition to the extend she started quarrelling, abusing me, she said “what do you want, don’t ask me, go ask to the respective executive” though she is the one mentioned for me . when I approached Senior executive Chitra she said “ it is not necessary for me to inform you”. I was totally shocked. If they would have persuaded me about insurance I would have never denied it, but in opposite to this they gave me ailing replies. I should have never asked & got such a worst comments from these two executives. Till the end no one furnished the details & not even billed the amount. It all happened because I have paid my initial amount and waiting for delivery. If I would have got this kind of response in the beginning I would have never turned here. Surely I’m not going to turn for any of the free services or the others. At the end it was a total frustration.

Nagappa motors is a decade’s running motors, don’t worry sir many customers will follow it. But I hope many will not continue.

Dear Sir,

I have serviced(third service) my hero honda splendor plus at annanagar nagappa auto center, before servicing i listed the problem but even after the problem has not been solved, when i asked each person(service) they have said their own feedback and ask me to come on another day, the problem solved in another day but due to this poor service i went late to my office, this is happened for each service.After some weeks the new problem has raised, the bike got starting problem, when i checked the spark plug, they have not cleaned properly and even its not looks new one, i think this was replaced with old one, once its cleaned the problem solved.

Hi guys,

My experience with Nagappa motors has been pretty fair till now except for RAMA mentioned above. She is quite arrogant and is not at all helpful. I also had a rough time getting response from them when i went for test driving CBZ. The service centre at Otteri near Megala theatre is quite good. If the attitude of staff members there improves, it would help a lot. Bythway, does anyone know whether Nagappa motors has a branch near Madipakkam, Kilkattalai or any place near? Thanks.

I also have bad opinion regarding Nagappa motors kilpauk, Chennai. I have given my bike's two services(1st and2nd) there but they didnt even attended a single problem .because of these complaints even I met with an accident..Each time what they are doing is just repairing the minimal troubles and routine free service procedures there by bye-passing any major manufacturing related complaints.Their only motive is to earn money.
.Today I have given 3rd service to a dealer near Guindy kathippara junction, they have solved all the problems and only charged reasonable amount.From this we can understand in how worse condition Nagappa motors is.Such a prominent dealer like Nagappa's this condition is quiet shameful.They have to focus on Quality also.

I am vasu. Gt a new cbz xtreme from nagappa motor in may. My bike has no kick start. Electronic start only which totally depends on the battery. But with in a month, batterx charge was down n i hd to push the bike n went to nagappa service center. They told that charge was down. Again in a month the same problem repeated, tuk the bike. This time they replaced the battery. Again aftr 40 days, the same problem repeated n again chargd. Nw within two weeks, the same problem, they say the battery has to b replaced again. V unhappy that they r nt giving a valid reason n nt attending to rectify the problem. I didnt use the bike effectively n v unhappy abt the same. Againg the bike has to b kept at idle at service cntre.they r nt ethical n nt understanding our requirements. I want a gud solution for this. Regards, vasu [protected]

I have purchased a new Hero Honda Splendor on 14/03/2013, today is 08/04/2013 so far they are not informed about the registration.
without registration I unable to use my motor bike so far. between this 25 days I have called 5 times to Nagappa Motors they are not responding. I tried to speak to Ms. Rama (Sales Executive) 5 times. every time the receptionist telling she is in leave, she is went out in permission, she is not here like that. even I have given my mobile number to her, she didn't call me and inform me. she is not taking care about the customer, and she is never feel responsibility to his job.

every time i am asking about the registration they are telling we will inform you one day before on the registration date.

as per your service condition, for the 1st service i should bring my bike within 1 month or approx. 600 kms, so far i am using my bike, then how to use 600 kms within 5 days or how can i find what the problem in my bike.

I have already purchased 4 Motor bike from Nagappa Motors Kilpauk, I have registered all the vehicle within 1 week from the purchase date.

but, this time your peoples telling there is some server problem in Nagappa Motors, so we are sending all the vehicles for registration after 20 days from the purchase date.

That means it is your problem, for the compensation you have to give extra time to send my vehicle for service instead of that you peoples are passing on the burden to me.

How you are excepting this is right?

Finally, my humble request to you please ask your sales executive and arrange to send my bike for registration and arrange to give the Insurance also.

I have purchased hero honda passion pro 1 year back at madurai bye pass nagappa motors, from month 1 the battery is not working properly, i have complained several times regard this and the problem might not be solved from my first service to till today,
after a severe complaint they agreed to exchange my battery, but the battery was not exchanged so for and each of the service man giving various reason for not changing.
Particularly, these peoples are planning to cheat the customers, So please be aware of the company while giving your vehicle for service.

Finally, the Nagappa motors madurai has exchanged my battery. My sincere thanks to all the authorities who taken my complaint as a serious issue and solved it in time.

It was never my intention to create such an awkward and uncomfortable situation to the company. It happens, because I am in suffer.

I owe you an apology for what happened with the situation.

Hope, we may have a good relationship in future.

I bought my Hero Pleasure from Nagappa Motors Kellys, Kilpauk. Even my happiness in purchasing my dream bike was totally spoiled by Senior executive CHITRA. I havn't seen any lady talking like that very rudely in my life. I stay at Porur and I decided buying from Kellys even though 2 Hero Dealers are there in Porur, just because they offered the colour I asked for and they also offered me Free helmet and some extra fittings.
After reaching the showroom they said that colour is no longer available and I had to choose white. The asked me to pay the full amount and offered giving the vehicle on the very next day evening. But next day they called me saying that Vehicle is not ready. They made me come to their showroom 3-4 times alI the way from Porur.I also told them clearly that I dont want Good life membership and extended warranty. but still they charged me all that in the final bill. CHITRA didnt give any helmet and charged extra for all the fittings. And when I spoke with her, she shouted at me and misbehaved. She easily changed her word. Sumathy Madam was the respective executive for me. She is a very decent lady and she knows how to speak to customers. Sumathy Madam was a witness for Chitra's changing of word, but as a lower level employee, she couldn't do anything.But still she tried her maximum. There was a huge difference on the rate they quoted in the quotation and the final bill.. I was forced to pay that amount as I payed Rs.25000 as advance while booking. They also charged Rs.300 as Executive charge for which they didnt even give a bill. I still dont understand why customer have to Pay for their Employees from our pocket. Finally I had to Pay Rs.53000 for a 100cc bike which does not have mileage at all. Pathetic. Buying vehicle from Nagappa motors is the only bad decision I have taken in my life.. I regret.

Another bad thing which I had to face is, They put wrong name in my insurance book. When I questioned, they told it's not a big problem and refused to correct it . My name was clear in my Local Address proof, Voter ID and driving licence copies I gave them. But still they added extra initial along with my real name. It was so disgusting.

I didnt knew that they do this with everybody. Now I saw all these complaints when i searched their number in Web for giving my vehicle for my second service for solving my mileage issue. 2 of my colleagues was about to buy 2 wheeler from them, but when i shared my experience they quit the plan of getting vehicle from nagappa motors kilpauk.

Main Issue i'm facing now is Mileage. They offered me 55-60 Kms. But I'm hardly getting 30-33 kms. It's been 6 months since I bought my 2-wheeler. I bought it on Jan 2013. I thought I will get more Mileage after my first service.. But no use.. Mileage has not increased.
I choose pleasure only because of it's good mileage.. Or else I would have selected Honda Deo. Now I'm planning to give my Vehicle for second service.. I hope I get more mileage after that. its not pleasure but its "PAIN"

I hope Nagappa Motor's authorities will consider poor customers bad experience. Warning Chitra for misbehaving to customers will be a good action for the customers in future. im sorry if im hurting Company's higher authorities for this uncomfortable situation. It's not intentional. Hope we may have a good relationship in future.

I have purchased Passion XPRO from Nagappa Motors, Perambur on 25-Jun-2013. I have done 3 free periodic services till now in NAGAPPA MOTORS SERVICE CENTER PERAMBUR.

My ODO reading is 7000Kms now. I am facing terribly bad quality issues in the bike after first service. Bike got breakdown and failed to start during one day when I am returning back to home from office. Self start not working. Kicker is also not working. I at least kicked the kicker 1000times that day.It happened at 8pm night time. So there is no service centre open during that time. I have to tow down the bike for 25KMS to my home from there and then again tow to service centre next morning. They took a full day to service.Now I can't able to rely on my bike. I always have doubt in mind everytime I start my bike "Will it breakdown now??".

The people in Service center (SC) said that there might be problem with the battery. And also, they sent the problematic battery to EXIDE Company for replacement. I asked them "what is the purpose of having Kick start with the bike?? If the self start is not working kicker should at least work!" SC guy replied" It is new model bike sir, Kicker won't work without aid of self start, but we have tuned the bike now kicker will work properly now”. It took 2 weeks full weeks to get back my bike's battery. That too SC guy replied “EXIDE returned back the battery. Battery has no problem sir; charge is less so we charged it fully”. This happened 2 months before. And, just after 1 week from 2nd free service. For charging battery, service center guys they took 2 weeks. Even now I am having Self start problem, self start not working every time sometime I have to use kicker. They are not able to rectify this problem even in 3rd Service. They took another 3 days to charge again my battery and give back. In free service, they are not even doing anything as per you have mentioned in your booklet. They are just changing engine oil and water wash that too not proper. I can see rust formation in some areas when getting my bike after service.


Now another new problem in my bike, Chain giving "Tak-Tak" sound and rolling noise in the rear wheel. I am regularly tightening the chain every 1000kms and also lubricating it whenever required from day one. I approached the same service centre 3 times this week, they are just tightening the chain and not even looking inside the chain cover and inspecting. I am irritated to ride the bike with the noise. This time, I asked the SC guy"atleast change the sprocket and chain. I am not able to ride the bike and pickup is terrible and not able to ride above 60Kms speed". SC guy said “It is Saturday sir, we have enough no. of vehicles to look upon today and we can't repair your bike today”. I asked whether I can bring on Monday knowing that Sunday SC is closed. SC guy said" Monday also full, you bring on Tuesday early morning. I will check and change the sprocket set". I am disappointed with the service of Nagappa perambur.

I have a question to you hero motocorp people, how come the sprocket goes off this much early?? Normal span of Closed chain is 25000 Kms. But, in my case I have just ridden 1/3rd of lifespan. The spares you have used in bike are very inferior and low quality. This is bad strategy of earning profit through poor quality spares. I feel like I have been cheated by your poor service and quality of spares.If you people are not able to repair, atleast you should give replacement or refund for customers.

Now I am even thinking to get rid of this bike. I would definitely won't buy any HERO product in future if this continues and won't recommend it to anyone.

Today I gave my Hero Passion Pro bike for service service to Nagappa Motors P ltd Balfour road, Kilpauk Chennai 10.
When I took delivery of the serviced vehicle I was surprised to note that my vehicle was not even water serviced nor cleaned. The appearance of the vehicle after service was worse than what it looked earlier. I paid around Rs.1700/- for the service.
The mechanic who attended me told that the boy who used to do water service had left early due to which it was not water serviced.
The same thing happened when serviced the vehicle last time. I even gave my feed back to the company that the service quality was very poor there. But then the Manager in charge of centre did not bother much.

It happened today also. They never bother about the quality of service . They charge heavily towards labour but never put in their service. It is surprising how a big company like Hero Motors has authorised such poor firm as service centre. They are very particular about money and not service or customers. The service was excellent in Kumbakonam where I bought the vehicle. Here it is very worse. I request the management of Nagappa Motors to look into it otherwise customers will lose confidence in them.

HI i gave my karizma zmr in nagappa motors kellys for insurance claim they told 16800 but now they are asking 21000 for insurance company they had shown 16800 you peoples charging me for extra money...icici bank shows its a cashless service station ...dont you people see how much we people suffer for getting that money
