Nandini Milk — Doubt in Quality of milk available in kankanagar bangalore
Hi,I stay in bangalore karnataka.
I have seen many milk product companies (which assure to give 100% pure milk) are either selling milk powder mix milk or artificial.
One of doubtful companies is 'nadini' milk which comes in white and green label.
Please enquire and take the necessary action.
Also please update about the procedure.
Thanks,
Shuchita
I fully agree with you. All the shops in Koramangla 1'st block charging extra for Nandini Milk.
Milk — Higher Prices
I reside at dahisar west nr rlwy station. There is a milk supplier in the vicinity who charge rs.1 higher then the price mentioned on the product. Pls look into it as they are duping customers. Cartel is been formed by this dealers in the area and all charge rs.1 extra. Request you to take action on the same.Nandini Milk — Products being sold for prices higher than MRP
This is probably the most common problem faced by consumers. Whenever I buy a pack of milk I have to pay 1 rupee extra on the MRP and every time I've asked for explanation, the dealer says "everyone does it". I just need to know why is there an MRP set if retailers are allowed to sell at a higher rate?Same applies to cold drinks where the dealers supposedly take "cooling charges" in addition to the MRP.

Milk — Selling price more than MRP
Shopkeepers in this Balkum Dadlani vicinity like Chamunda and Jai Bhavani are selling Milk packets of companies like Amul, Gokul, Thorat etc, at 1 or 2 rupees above the printed MRP. I too face the same issue in my locality (B.Narayanpura) on daily basis. Today I even fought with the shopkeeper for selling 500ml packet more than defined MRP.
Is there any way this issue can be escalated. But I hardly believe that any steps would be taken on them.
Also shopkeeper complained back saying that "We are getting the Nandini (blue color) milk packet (500 ml) for 14rs only(But MRP is Rs.13.50). If thats the case, they can't sell it for the same price". I am not sure whether this is true or not. But he also added that, "you can check with any shops nearby saying that, they also sell it for Rs.15 only". He agressively told that if required, go and complain to anyone. If educated people like us are being cheated by these shopkeepers, then think about the people who are un-educated or people who don't know about the rights to ask.
To my knowledge this shopkeeper, sells minimum 50packets of nandini blue milk packet (500 ml - Rs.13.50) & 50 packets nandini orange milk packet (500 ml - Rs. 16.50).
Per day Illlegal income - 3 * 100 = Rs 300.
Not only this, they also sell Tirumala milk packet or curd packet more than defined MRP. Another 100 packets / day.
Per day Illegal income - 1 * 100 = Rs. 100.
They don't even give any bills. By that way they simply escape from Sales Tax as well.
Any action on such shop keepers across India is very much essential to save the economy, such that the black money which is going to their pocket can be diverted to benefit of government for some good projects(which in-turn would benefit the people).

I have the same complaints as above about more price for 1/2 liter or liter mild pack (1 Re extra for 1/2 and 2 Rs for 1ltr). In addition, I recently found out how even KMF (Nandini) is cheating people. After the price hike in March, I found the quality of milk to hv become poor (Watery). After few days, when I went to Nandini parlour to get milk, I asked if they had any different variety. The lady there told me that yes, they had two blue packets for regular milk for same price, one which is good and gives thick milk for coffee and curds (marked Homogenized milk in Red on the pack) and the other not so good ordinary pack. I was shocked. How they are cheating people. Only because I asked, i got to know. But now, they have stopped that homogenized pack also. What is happening? Is thr no one to check and question them??
Today I too fought with a Milk vendor, he is selling 200 g curd of Nandini of MRP Rs 8 at Rs 10, ( In Kegeri ). I bought two packs and had to pay Rs 20. His explanation is he has to pay to whole sale dealer Commision and cooling charges. He was not even ready to give a cover to carry the same. These mididleman in business including Nandini wholesale dealers are simple examples of corrupt Distrubution system we are having in India, Consumer is always Victim.
