I had ordered a book (paperback edition) from nbcindia.com portal on 9th September 2009. The payment was made by cheque. The amount was credited to Gaura books Ltt. Delhi. I am seeing he status on their website "payment received but not dispatch" for almost last 2 months. I could not speak to them and the two customer service numbers given are all fake. No body picks up the phone. I have sent many emails to [protected]@nbcindia.com but more than the Thank You automated mail I did not receive any response. I trusted this online store and placed the order. But this company just takes the money and keeps quiet. Do not know when will I get the book.

I ordered 2 books and paid by card. The website did not even provide an order number or reference number.
The phone numbers provided on the website keep ringing but no one picks the call. The email address [protected]@nbcindia.com is not monitored and there is no response at all.
I had to research and find another email address [protected]@gmail.com and shoot an email to this person Mr. Yogendra Sharma, the owner who then got my order shipped to me.
No point dealing with this webstore.
