[Resolved]  NHAI — Status of M.T.H. Road(NH 205), Chennai

really very bad from lucas to avadi the road expansion what happen we people dont know if the road expansion comes only the traffic problem will be solved so plz cocern department my humble request to expand the road of m.th road from lucas to avadi very traffic plz forward this to our tamilnadu chiefminister miss j. jayalalitha sure she will take nessecary steps

Hi my name is Lakshmikanth and residing at avadi, the main road from Avadi to Poonamalle is in worst condition.Though government has allotted fund to lay new roads still its not been done and in some areas only patch work is being done, on both sides of the road big man holes are digged for laying underground drainage & water pipes which are not properly closed, this area is covered with lot of schools & colleges, becoming very traffic in peak hours without proper roads, whoever concerned please look into this issue immediately and take necessary action.

the road between karvar and manglore are the worst NH roads i hav visited , it made my trip am forgetable trip , pls either see to improve the road conditon , r remove the name as national highways 17

I am residing in Birpara, dist- jalpaiguri (West Bengal). the road condition betywen Chakamari and Hasimara is very bad. theres is no road at all.

The road has numerous potholes and craters, making motoring, a difficult proposition. It is a nightmare to drive during rain and during hours of darkness. Nobody cares for the road. the above sitution is from atleast two to three years. no repaing has been done yet. the road is not at all repaiarable. it has to be rebuilt.

there are at least two to three accidents every day occured in that place.

URGENT attention is required. it is the region where Jaldpara Forest is located where lots of touris are coming. it connect Bhutan to India. It connect Nort East states. The road is very vital. how it can be left like that?

NH-75road is so worst it is two lane we would like to convert into 4 lane from jhansi to khajuraho

i need the map of the tirupahi by pass from the outer ring rod to tirupahi and where the roads linking lands in village like koyampakam and other area please give correct path and servay nos if possible

1. Doesn't he know the roads are used for driving. Is he still in olden age. Try to think futuristic?
2. It is all about traffic; not a comedy. First try to build a 150 ft wide bulldozers.
3. You are only thinking about the two sides of local not about 1000's of localities placed in that stretch.
4. Most of the two lakh families and business people are encroachers; it was not their own land.but not support to public for bussiness peoples, daily so many accidents in this way...
5. Don't compare. Its all about growth.
6. It is not about who is losing. Think about the majority of public needs.
7. If you suggest 180 ft road is enough. Then you are degrading the NHAI engineers.
8. "180 ft road can serve very much better for the next 100 years" It is a best comedy of the century.

Ambattur municipality is the best municipality ever as they never do any work on time. They will do only after some high level issue has been raised.

All the work is feasible only when the government shows some interest on it. Ex: Government built the secratariat office in a record time. It is all about showing interest. Government should show some importance in North and West Chennai. Please...

PLEASE NEED 200 FEET ROAD...
FULL PUBLIC SUPPORT FOR 200 FEET WIDENING...(NOT SUPPORT FOR ONLY FOR FEW SHOP HOLDERS) For over a decade now, the widening of Madras Tirupati high road (MTH road) - NH205, has been posing a challenge to the authorities. The NHAI had proposed to widen the narrow road into a 200 ft, six-lane toll road.

The project now hangs in the balance even as the number of accidents in the stretch keeps growing. The number of accidents goes unchecked due to bottlenecks and private hospitals in Ambattur, Tirumullaivoyil are flooded with accident cases. As the volume of traffic on the MTH road is heavy, compared to its lane dimension, motorists often overtake, resulting in fatal accidents.

The decision to widen the national highway within the greater Chennai limit, which is from Tirumullaivoyil to Padi junction, was not taken.

We RESIDENTS between Padi to Thirunundravur need 200Ft Road with Toll Plaza...

my name sivanantham working in private firm . on NH 38 (vandiyour ring road). NH indication stones were removed & near by land owners using that area as their own like they are using road side area as their own transport road, so possiblity of road accident . hence nh has to lye down their indication stone immediately .

My name is Karthik, residing in Thirumulaivoyil. Highway road between Padi and Avadi is very small and need to be Widen immediately. It takes a minimum of 2 hrs to cross just 23km and to reach any place in chennai. It is also very difficult to reach any hospitals during emergency.
Chennai has developed a lot. In past five years the growth rate is very high. But in this century, I feel very ashamed even for basic road we have to raise voice. NHAI or Government should be very strong in their decision. Knowing the practical difficulty you can take the necessary action to widen the road. A proper report about the difficulties faced by lakhs & laksh of people residing in that area can be submitted to the court to overcome the stay order making the court to understand the difficulties rather just understanding the 2000 encrouched shop owner's problem.
Traffic in this area is increasing day by day. It will become more difficult to carry out the expansion work and cost you more if the decision is not taken immediately.
I have faced enough problem, I beg the authorities to take immediate action. Please Please Save our Soul!

The 4 way toll road construction is in progress from thirupathi to thirunindravur... but i really dont know what they are going to do in between thirunindravur and padi, but its really a big hell for the surrounding peoples... Anyone know the update for the road between thirunindavur and padi?

There are people saying 80 feet / 100 feet road is enough. Do they think they are genius enough than the actual officials. Who are they... most of them are encroachers... Do the government have enough strenght to deal with it... Government is changing in cycle but no improvements to NH 205...

I am resident of Sasthiri Nagar, Ammapet, Salem District. We have an all time busy road NH38.. People especially pedestrians suffer a lot to cross the road from the Sasthiri Nagar. This problem have become so big to everyone, when Sasthiri Nagar is made some one way traffic arrangements in various places...About more than 500 people pass by the Route.. And Sasthiri Nagar also acts as an Centre place for the public to change the Routes from Ayodhiyapatinam, Vazhapadi, Attur, Seelanaikenpatti, Ammapet, Kandhasramam etc or even to mofussil places..and get into another bus in here... But there is no possible place for the pedestrians to cross the road and get to the other side of the road..Today many people, even ladies and old age people were seen to jump the centre median and cross the road... Hence, I request NHAI Officials to make an FOOT - OVER BRIDGE for the pedestrians across the Sasthiri Nagar, Connecting Kamarajar Colony Bus Stop... And I seriously assure that this Foot- Over Bridge will be surely useful for the Pedestrians henceforth... I'm very thankful to the Authorities, if they act soon towards my request and do appropriate action immediately...

Our MTH will not happen. if it happens it is going to be only few feet against the proposed 100 ft road. MTH road stretch is the least developed area in the whole of chennai and this is because of the reason being no VIP resides in this locality. Unless and until the residents come together for a road roco or file a strong case against the NHAI.the govt is not bothered for resident/taxpayers residing between the padi and thirunindravur.
we should unite together and make the govt hear our voices. Else god save this stretch from Vanniar sangam.

On N.H. 8, near abkleshwar, near sadanand chokdi 250 watt 12 no. Of fittings keep ON in day time too. Lots of energy wastage.

Our population and the housing projects are increasing heavily from tambaram to chengleput because of connectivity to omr road where there are lot software companies. Government of Tamil nadu should bring development to western side of chennai where there are lot of government land bring in software park from thirunandravur to tiruvallur and the area will be developed and slowly move up to Arkonam. Since west chennai had got good train connection lot of housing projects can be started because of low price of land.. If tamil nadu government extends city limits up to Tiruvallur and develop good infrastructure like good roads, water connection, drainage connection, the population in city will decrease. Government slowly should extend the city limits up to Arkonam. Chennai has good land space instead of city getting crowded government, should build good infra outside the city limit
