Indane Gas Bhubaneswar (Indian Oil) sucks money without any service (Noble Indane)
This is to bring to your notice the unethical behaviour of the distributor (Noble Indane) at Bhubaneswar. First of all, for the connection, they dont give out any advertisement or notification - they hoard the gas cyclinders and stop the new registrations and wait till the time the gas prices are revised. I have waited over 8 months to get a gas connection. The reason they give is our new registrations are stopped and we cant take any new registrations because supply is limited. At the same time, in the chorbazaar, the gas cyclinders are freely available at four times the cost within 2-3 kilometers of their office. There would be more these kind of shops i am unaware of.

Then after 8 months, they finally agreed to me coming over to their place and fill up forms- they wanted some affidavit and made me run to the lawyer guy twice for separate documents.. after 20 days, they said that inspection guy will come and check at my place. No guy came from Noble indane and then i finally took the number of the guy and paid him Rs.300 to get the paper done. How many more days would i have bought gas from chorbazaar!

During registration, they take an additional amount of Rs 1800 for nothing- saying that is for installation and gave me things which i never wanted. When i asked one of their people about not taking these extra items, they said that if you dont take it - there is a different form you fill that up and then we will send the inspection guy to your home again. this basically meant another chance of delaying things if they cant get things from me first time.. The inspection guy would take 1500 more and share profits with them.

Nobody did any installation at my place. I installd it myself but surely paid them for this service of theirs!!!! Anyways all this is still fine and i thought this is a one time event and wont happen again.

After a month when i wanted to order a cylinder - i called them up. After an hour of 'engaged' tone, when the operator was supposedly busy, i finally was lucky and the phone rang on the other side at 12 30 PM in the noon. BUt no one picked up the phone.. Then after that i called back again and immediately engaged tone was back.. someone placed the receiver outside. This is just a foul play to bring the customer again to their office so that they can ask for more money for the gas booking.

Everyone who has taken services of Noble Indane in Bhubaneswar would have the same problems but are not sure where to whom to complain. This is Indian Oil who this letter is addressed to and they should take into account that unscrupulous distributors like Noble indane are playing with the end customers and are openly taking bribe to get things done.. else things get delayed more than a year!!!!!!

Is someone at Noble Indane and Indian Oil Corporation even listening?
