[Resolved]  Nokia 1209 — display problem

I got a nokia 1209 set on 18th of august o8 and within twenty days of purchase it developed display problems. There is a pink patch right in the centre of the screen. I went to the nearby nokia care but their respone was hardly good. They said they cant repair or do anything and it will take 15- 20 days for them to send it to Kolkata and get repaired.
Is this the kind of service your company boast off??
i study in Haldia(west bengal) and kolkata is 3 hours away from haldia!!
