[Resolved]  Nokia — COMPLAINT ON NOKIA CUSTOMER CARE AND SERVICE CENTRE

I Dr. G. Jeyabalan, had purchased a Nokia E63 mobile phone few months back. The mobile phone was having the problem of hanging at one page during internet surfing. Last week, it so happened, and I tried to restart the mobile phone. The moment I switched it off, it was not responding any key after that and till now the mobile can not be switched on.
When the mobile had been submitted to Nokia care (Jain Communications,) Alwar, they asked us to wait for two hours, then one day, then two days and finally they said the mobile had to be sent to head office and would take 8-10 days. And finally I had taken my mobile handset back and now I decided to lodge a complaint to the consumer forum for the ignorance and lethargic of the service center.
They prefer to do services for paid service customer rather than warranty service customers like me. If at all they can not provide warranty services, why the company claims for warranty for one year for their products?
This can be taken seriously against Nokia who provides false claims as warranty, and the service center for not providing prompt service, reception to the customers.

nokia cust care at noida/model no-6300 — phone not serviced and given back at the promised date.

sir my name is vishnu sharma and i had given my cel to get repaired at nokia service centre in noida, but they so irresponsible that neithed could they repair my phone nor they retuned it on time, and again and again giving lame accuses which is frustrating me lot, i want a positvi response ASAP.

Nokia 6300 — i don't know y

why my nokia 6300 blaack is very slow i have 1 GB sd and 600 loaded is it slow that i have too much loaded or some virus and how to format my nokia 6300
Further, please note that, all Nokia phones come with a 12 month warranty from the original date of purchase. Our warranty guidelines state that any repairs or servicing would be covered under warranty provided our qualified Nokia technicians do not find any physical or liquid damage(s) on the phone. We would like to advise you that the warranty is void in the event that the technicians find that your phone has been subject to any of these damages.



Should the technician find the phone to be repairable, a repair quotation would be provided. If the customer chooses to have the phone repaired, the customer would need to bear the cost of the service charge as well as the repair charges of the phone. In certain instances, the phone may be irreparable and the customer would be advised of this. Unfortunately, once the phone has been assessed to contain any liquid ingression by the Nokia Care Center, we would not be able to guarantee the issue will not reoccur as the phone would be assessed as being “beyond economical repair”.



Nokia stands by our Nokia Care Center report and our limited warranty clause, which can be found in your user manual: clause 9 (A), which explains that liquid ingression is not covered by the warranty. However, we would not be in a position to oblige to your request of replacement. We hope this clarifies and we regret for the inconvenience caused.



We would not be able to verify how liquid came into contact with the motherboard to cause the corrosion in question. However, once liquid ingression has been found on the phone, the warranty is automatically void.

NOKIA- N-70 — Service Issues

Dear Sir,
This would be my third mail apart from two mails being posted at nokia care website.
I had given my N70 at planet cell (Nokia Care) in Aundh pune.Initially i had aproblem of switcing on the cell after repairs which cost me Rs 1450/-withen two days it had the same problem as advised by Mr Om from Planet cell i resisted using memory card .Now the situation is that the cell is completely dead and cant be used.i have visited the care centre atleast four times and met Mr NITIN(Proeriter) he says he cant do anything. i am utmost disappointed.
hope some reply would come.

Nokia — Keypad not working(Transreceiver)

Sir,
I had deposited my cell 2626 with nokia care centre(Behind petrolpump, Sant Dnyaneshwar paduka chowk, pune) on 01.sep
The target delivery was on same day and i visited the place on 5 sep i was satnding in queue for 2 hrs but it was not repaired again i went there on 12sep they told it is repaired but now again i see that i can neither make or recieve a call .My cell is in warranty period so i want a replacement because everytime i repair it stops working in some days.

nokia 95 8Gb — poor custmore care servise

I was buy my nokia 95 8Gb mobile 4rm hoshiapur in may 2008. Since that time my cel not working properly. I have give my cel 2 custmore care hoshiarpur for 2 time but everytime same problum continue in my cel. Now i decide never buy nokia product.

Nokia 5220 — POOR RESPONSE/SERVICE

I purchased latest model Nokia 5220 on Sept 22, 2008. The diplay stopped on Sept 1, 2008 and approached service centerBRIGHT CARE, Malleswaram, Bangalore 3.

They said it is physical damage. Since I have no option, I agreed for paid service even though NOKIA should analyse and decide on the case. The exepected delivery was 8th Sept 2008.

It is never possibel to get service center by phone.

Ten phones, complaints through NOkia care line. Same type of answers. No one really knows when the set will be ready.

If spares are not available why sell the MODEL?

I dont exepect NOKIA to respond to this MAIL.

Hope one day I will get the set repaired. MAY BE THE DATE IS KNOWN ONLY TO THE ALMIGHTY.

Let Nokia stop the careline service.

Nokia N70 — Lack of Support

Dear Sir,

My name is Amit Parmar, i am using N - 70 phone of nokia, i would like to bring to your notice that in last month my cell display was damaged and i had given to them for repairs as my phone is covered under warranty
They have provide my cell in 4-5 days but after using a hour the same problem started than i have again submitted by cell to them and after repair again that problem started this cycle goes on to 5 times in less than a month time
Now again for the same reason my cell phone is with Nokia Gallery - Phoneix Mill and my job card no is MUM0539102 and still i am not aware whether it has been repaired or not?
Pls let me know whether my cell will be replace or repaired and requesting you to take some necessary steps to save the valuable time of your customers

Subiksha — Fradulant Practice

Subiksha vegitable shop near Kapaleeshvarar Temple in Mylapore is indulging in fradulant billing practices.

This happened on 23/8/2008. I picked up vegitables based on the subiksh price diaplyed in the shelves. When they billed my picks they charged me higher price. On questioning I found out they are storing mutiple prices for each Item and they can switch to diiferent rates at press of button.

Nokia/N-95 8GB — Cheating with Customers

I purchased Nokia N-95 8GB in mid April 2008. After aprox. 40-45 days it started shutting down itself, When shown to there Complaint /Repair Centre at Green Park New Delhi. I was Advised to submit the same for repairs . After 4-5 Days I received an sms from Nokia to collect my phone instrument. After examining my phone in front of their technical experts (so called) I found my phone is still having the same problem. I was advised to submit my phone again for replacement. After 15-20 days the same sms I received that the phone is ready. I was happy !! .

But the happiness was there for a few days, The key board of the phone stopped working and the battery started to discharge in 1 hour. I again approached the same centre at Green Park, New Delhi. The phone was again submitted
its now the 8th consecutive day there help line nos. are un reachable.

I am Feeling so helpless and cheated. The only advise I can give is PLS. DISCARD NOKIA.
They have now thrown substandard products in the market and only en-cashing their goodwill .

Nokia — n70 me: music player complaint

i had purchased an N70 Music Edition from the nokia priority dealer calicut on 01/10/2007

from july 2008 the set started malfunctioning
the problem is automatic playing of music player, automatically changing songs etc...
along with that none of the features of the phone could be used, except making a call.

i had submitted the cell phone at the nokia care centre at mavoor road. They repaired it . 2 days later the same problem repeated. so again i went to the care centre.this time they told me " This is a problem with the nokia n 70 me software, and even if it is repaired, the problem will persist"
i complained at the showroom from where i had bought it and claimed for a replacement.but they once again repaired it and guaranteed that the problem will not reccur.

but the next day itself the phone went mad...and the memmory card got corrupted and i lost all my data in it.
i submitted my phone at the showroom. after 1 week they gave me a new n70 me.

but that too is having the same problems .also a new one that i cant hear anything, while on a call.
they have once again repaired it.

i had spent an amount of Rs.12, 100/- and they have given me a damaged set. As far as to my knowledge this problem is an inborn problem of n 70 that is to say a manufacturing defect.so i claimed for a n73, which the company had been giving as a swap to those defected n70's.they told me that it was a limited offer and they cant avail it now.

i had sent an email to the nokia people and no reply yet...!!

Nokia 6300 — Repaired twice even at the same stage

I've sent my Nokia 6300 twice in the service center, each time I got it repaired after 20 days but it still reboots in between the calls. It is not only affecting my business but also affecting my reputation.

Everybody is now saying that whey you are not changing your mobile.

They are giving worst support and there is no escalation matrix. If it there then why it is not transparent.

Requesting you if anybody can help me in replacing the handset because now I am not going to send this handset to the support center.
We have purched Nokia N_72 on date Oct'07 but after we see screen saver is not find out or is not abalible so please confirm it immediate as early as possible.
