[Resolved]  Nokia Bl - 5c Battery — replacement of defective battery

Particulars of the defective battery were conveyed to Product Advisory: Nokia BL-5C battry on 17th August, 2007 after the the company gave mass publicity of their policy to provide free replacement to the owners of Nokia cellphones. Replacement of the battery is still awaited.

Nokia company is not alert this days, even xpressmusic 5610 is always in complaint. So bad.!

Nokia Care — Denial of Replacement of LCD screen of E51

Sir,
I went to nokia care at Berhampur to solve my mobile problem, the representative attended and just giving a glance to my Display Screen he said this is a Physical Damage done to your phone hence NO WARRENTY REPLACEMENT will be given.

I purchased a Nokia 5130 on 07/10/2009. The battery(BL - 5C) is giving me problem since the day i purchased the handset. I visited the nokia care on 13/10/2009 for replacement of battery but the lady in nokia care (girish park) checked the handset and updated some softwares, i asked her to replace the battery but she said it will be done next time if i face the problems. The problem was not solved so i visited the nokia care again on 16/10/2009, this time also my problem was not solved they said server is not working and i should come on monday. i visited the centre again on 19/10/2009 (monday), this time again my problem was not looked into because of the same server problem.
The nokia care is just not ready to solve the problem and their attitute towards customers is rude. Nokia being the biggest handset manufacturer in India, if such problems cant be solved or taken care of then there is no point in buying the handset. The company should take action against the care centre where they dont know how to deal with customers and solve the problems.
I expect a positive reply and some action against this.

I requested for my battery replacement when it was published in paper that BL5C lot will
be replaced. I applied for the same with battery no[protected] N[protected]. BL5C.

till date i have received no information.

Nokia — BL5C Battery Replacement

I have a Nokia 1110 mobile with faulty BL5C battery.
Battery identification number:[protected]N[protected]
I had raised a replacement request on 24th August 2007,but till date have not got any response from Nokia inspite of long mail chains and calls.
Here is the detail of complain dates:

Date Status
[protected] Serial number added to the system.
[protected] Address information analyze initiated.
[protected] Replacement battery is in delivery.

This issue is a long pending one and has been a really disappointing service from Nokia.I want to know if there happens some unavoidable incident who will be responsible for that???
Will it be NOKIA for not resolving the issue or will it just be another news item to be seen on NEWS channel on TV????


While raising the issue I see that there are 2275 complaints against NOKIA...So what is consumer forum doing here?????just counting the number???or try trying to resolve or not???

May b i cud help u by giving some cell numbers of senior people in Nokia i[censored] live in delhi n providedly u must hav all the written/printed proof of complaint given by the nokia

I have a 3210 cell phone and im using it since year 2000 and its 10 years now and the battery is not good any more... i keep buying new one and they are giving me the not good ones.. i keep buying in different store and it is all the same.. they said the original battery of these kind of cellphone does not exist anymore... i really like to use it and it has a value to me because it is a gift and my first cellphone...

I PURCHASED NOKIA E-52 MOBILE FROM CROMA SHOP IN SURAT ON[protected]. CROMA INVOICE NUMBER[protected] DTD[protected].INVOICE GIVES PRODUCT DETAILS Pn E52 (IMEI [protected] )

COMPLAIN: I WAS IN BANGLORE AND THE MOBILE SUDDENLY GOT TOTALLY DISCHAGED AND WOULD NOT ACCEPT CHARGE AGAIN. I WAS TO TRAVEL TO COORG THE NEXT DAY BUT NEEDED TO STAY IN TOUCH WITH MY BROKER AND OFFICE.
I THERFORE BOUGHT A NEW MOBILE IN MADEKARI TOWN (ALSO NOKIA )
SINCE MY E52 MOBILE INTRUMENT WAS NEW AND COVERED UNDER WARRANTY I BROUGHT IT BACK TO SURAT.
I TOOK THE MOBILE TO NOKIA CARE CENTRE IN ADAJAN SURAT ON ADVICE FROM CROMA. THEY SAID THAT THE BATTERY OF MOBILE HAD FAILED AND REPLACED BATTERY WHICH THEY GOT FROM UNSEALED COVER . I TOLD THEM THAT THE BATTERY SEEMS OLD. THEY DID NOT LISTENTO ME INSTEAD THE STAFF MISBEHAVED SAYING THAT HE KNEW HIS JOB WELL.
THE PROBLEM WITH BATTERY WAS NOT RESOLVED. I THIS TIME RETURNED THE PHONE TO CROMA SHOP.
THEY TOOK THE PHONE UNDER GOODS ACKNOWLEDGEMENT RECEIPT 114 ON 20/09/2010. ( INFINITY RETAIL LTD )
THE PHONE WAS RETURNED BACK TO ME AFTER TWO DAYS SAYING THAT THE BATTERY IS CHARGED AND IS WORKING.
I USED THE PHONE FOR FEW DAYS AND FOUND THE SAME PROBLEM OF BATTERY DRAINING VERY FAST.
THE PHONE WAS AGAIN TAKEN BY CROMA ( INFINITY RETAIL LIMITED ) UNDER GATE PASS NO 134 ON 30/09/2010.
THE PHNONE WAS IN NOKIA SERVICE CENTRE FOR 15 DAYS IE TILL[protected]. THE PHONE WAS RETURNED TO CROMA ON 15TH BUT I INSISTED THAT THEY CHECK AS TO HOW LONG THE BATTERY LAST AFTER FULL CHARGE.
CROMA CONFIRMED TO ME THAT THE BATTERY WAS DRAINING VERY FAST AND THERE SEEMS TO BE PROBLEM SOME WHERE.
INFINITY RETAIL HAS SENT THE PHONE BACK TO NOKIA SERVICE CENTRE IN SURAT WHO IN TURN HAVE TOLD THAT THE PHONE HAS BEEN SENT OUT SIDE SURAT FOR REPAIRS BY THEM .
SOME TIME IN BETWEEN THE MANAGER OF CROMA SAID THAT THE BATTERY WAS DRAINING DUE PHONE BEING WET. HE THEN ASKED THE SERVICE CENTRE TO GIVE THAT IN WRITING AND THEN THEY RETRACTED BACK AND HAVE SENT THE PHONE TO SOME OTHER SERVICE CENTR OUT SIDE SURAT

I AM FED UP WITH NOKIA SERVICE CENTRE. AFTER PYING RS 12000/- FOR THE INSTRUMENT THE PHONE HAS BEEN WITH NOKIA SERVICE CENTRE FOR 2 MONTHS OUT OF MY THREE MONTHS OWNERSHIP.
I WONDER HOW I CAN RESOLVE THIS PROBLEM AND PREVENT MY RS 12000/- GOING TO DRAIN.

Nokia — Battery defective

sir i have purchaged a Nokia handset (Nokia 1661) from aditi communication on 4th Nov. 2009 (invoice no 6038 ) .But since beginnin i am facing some problem regarding call, low voice from set,taking more time to charge mean whenever i attend any call, set gets switchoff, so i visited your customer care center .they repaired it but the problem was the same then i again went to them with the same problem many times but all was in vain . i asked them about the problem then they told me that its battery problem then i asked them why you did not inform me first time when i came to you and if it was a battery problem then whyyou kept only handset and handedover me the battery many times whenever i aproachedyou .At that time they were not having any kind of proper answer.i told them if it was a battery problem then change the battery or do accordingly then they told me that battery can not be changed because it is not having its logo.i told them that when the battery inserted into the mobile set and out from the mobile set many times then logo has shifted form its original place and affixed to near by place but it was not completly affixed hence it has lost while inserting or putting out from the mobile set .I have complaint on the following issues. 1. the behavior of the staff was very rude and i feel so ashmed to visit the care cente.2. Nokia Care — more than 2 weeks, still not get battery replaced

I Submitted the Nokia BL4C Battery for replacement in Nokia Care on 13th Nov. Its 29th Nov and still they are saying that battery has not come yet. Everyday i am calling Nokia care center for enquiry but everyday the same status is responded from their side that still it has not come. I am facing lot of problem with this. The Nokia care service in Rohtak is very pathetic. They take too much time for the things to get replaced(around 3 weeks or more).
