Nokia C6 — COMPLAINT AGAINST THE SERVICE AGAINST NOKIA CARE | |||
Dear Sir, I had purchased Nokia C6 on 06 May 2011; the phone was working fine, however on 23 Oct 2012 the phone LCD stopped displaying. I took my phone to Nokia care which is located at Everest Mobicare, 10, Lenin Sarani, opp Loreto School Dharmtolla, Kolkata 700013, India so have it assisted... The warranty of my phone has been extended under the Nokia Care Protect Certificate of Coverage, and i was informed that my phone would be send to the head office in Noida for have the error mended, and i was provided with a Job sheet number[protected]/121025/81 where it was mentioned that the target date of delivery would be 05 Dec 2012. Device IMEI number: [protected] I HAD VISITED MOBICARE ON 05 DEC 2012, AND THEY HAD INFORMED ME THAT THE PHN HAS STILL NOT REACHED THEM FROM THE SERVICE CENTER, I WAS CONFIRMED THAT I WOULD BE INTIMATED IN REGARDS TO THE STATUS OF THE PHN HOWEVER NO ONE TURNED IUP ON THE PHN HENCE I HAD AGAIN VISITED THEM TODAY ON 11 DEC 2012. I TRUSTED NOKIA CARE A LOT AND HAD BEEN A LOYAL CUSTOMER OF NOKIA SINCE 2005 AND HAD ALWAYS RECOMMENDED NOKIA OVER ALL THE OTHER PHN COMPANIES HOWEVER AFTER THIS EXPERIENCE WITH NOKIA CARE I AM AFRAID OF THE STANCE THAT Would BE TAKEN AGAINST MY ISSUE. REQUEST YOU TO HAVE ME CONCERN ADDRESSED OR ELSE I WOULD BE FORCED TO ESCALATE THE MATTER THE CONSUMER FORUM.... Apart from that they never gave me any alternate cell so i had to live without mobile for many days which u know is very difficult in present day so please do the needful, i had to buy a new cell for myself worth 6K. My C6 was amounted to 12250.00 when i had purchased it. Hence would request you to have my present phone replaced with the equal or equivalent amount if the same is unable to be mended... I was informed by the executive in Nokia care that my handset was amongst those set of phones which was damaged however the same was sold to me without Nokia taking the charge of those lot of phones. Today its just that i was under the validity period hence i do not have to pay for the damage, however once my extended validity would expire i would had to bare the additional charges... I was informed that the costing for repairing the phone was 4000.00 hence this time i do not have to pay for the expense, however if in future some other type of damage happen with the phone i would be liable to pay the expenses. Hence i would not like to go ahead with the mended phone, and the total refund of my phone or a replacement of the same with the equivalent amount. I would also like to confirm that I was not given a spare mobile to use also... Please have all the issues checked from your end vigilantly and help me in the issue... i am also looking for a compensation for the mental torture that i have gone since 05 Dec 2012.... I have also taken up the matter with the consumer court; have attached the soft copy of my complaint also... I was informed that my phone is with the Nokia care Head of in Bangalore [protected].
