[Resolved]  Nokia Care — harrassed by service

Dear Sir,
i gave my nokia 7710 for repair as it was not starting, at nokia care preet vhar new delhi. they upgraded software and it got started. when i came home found that it had network problem created from nokia care side.i again gave it to repair.when again i went after 15 days to take it, i found that keypad is missing &they told that its from their noida office.again they asked me to come after few days. wheni got my cell i found that they have placed keypad but it is not working.i finally decided not to give it to repair again, and took it with me.
its been more that 1 & half month i gave my cell to repair for not starting when i got it finally after goin for 6 times, it had several problems creted from nokia care's side.they just upgraded software & in return following were problem created by them.these are...
1. network problem
2. sound of speakers deteroid.
3. vibrator not working.
4. keypad not working.
Earlier these problems were not there when i gave it for repair(it was not starting).
i have complain the manager of nokia care also i mailed nokia website but no response from them.
i am harrassed by their poor service as when i gave cell for repair(itwas not starting) they upgraded software but in return the above 4 problems they created & i had to go there 6 times, my time & money is wasted &also my cell is not in goo orking condition.please help me for that.

Dear Sir,

I had given my Nokia mobile 5310 for service & the problem was that the SIM socket had come out & hence the phone was not reading SIM. I received a call from the service centre saying there is liquid lock & hence void of warranty & will put new SIM socket if agree for the charges of Rs.800.00. I contradicted as I was very sure there was no liquid lock, but with the primary objective of getting the phone back so that I can use, I said ok & asked them to correct the same. They used the same SIM socket & not a new one & charged me Rs.800.00 for the service.

On 03.01.09, I had a problem in my mobile that it the battery was not getting charged & hence gave it at the same service centre. I had checked with other batteries & the phone was working fine but once the battery drains down the battery was not getting charged. Once again I got a call from the Nokia care saying water has gone in & it is a liquid lock case. I am sure this time around that it is not the case. When I am asking for an estimate amount for the service over phone or mail they say they can’t tell the same as it is against the policy & will provide me the estimate in the job sheet only when I go to them personally.

I personally feel this is a definite harassment from the company employees & also a tactic that people will shell out money if they keep saying liquid lock every time. Even when I know for sure that it is not a case of liquid lock, they try to convince you of the same & try to get more money out of each service being done. This is not a good practice on the part of the company employees & this will damage the reputation of Nokia.

I expect the company to look into cases of this kind strictly & have monitoring process for the same so that the employees work with responsibility & do not adpot fraudulent ways of earning money.

It is beyond expectation that one can get such ill treatment from such a reputed brand's care center.
I have submitted my mobile (7610) to nokia care, having problem of one key is not working properly. After one day they dispatch the mobile charging me 500 rupee. Surprisingly they just did it without test if the problem was fixed. So after a short while I again encounter the same problem and a day after I again go the Nokia service center with my same problem. The guy who last time dispatch my mobile Named Jagannath. So I again approach him. To my surprice it took him 45 min to say that yes problem is there and it was not fixed properly and asked me to wait. I was leaving behind all my work and spend over an hour there leaving my office behind. After waiting over an hour when I asked for the status they just lost my mobile battery. I been ill treated like never before. I got a very bar impression over the customer care personals specially the guy named Jagannath. It really spreads a bad message over companies reputation.

Nokia N93 — My phone has a few complaints.

My phone has a few complaints:-
1) Battery gets weak too fast.
2) The cover got broken & I tried alot to buy one but it's not available in the market.
3) Later, it got wet in the rain & the module of the phone got spoiled, the module costs Rs. 2500/- but if I sell the phone even I had no probelms in the phone also I could sell it only for Rs. 4500/- claims Nokia Care.

sir maine nokia E51 model liya. abhi warranty period me hai, mere mobile me side jo rubber key tha vo nikal gaya hai. to vo change karna hai to ho sakta ya nahi. maine jamnagar ke nokia care me dikhaya to vo log keh rahe ke ye physical hai isliye ye warranty me he lekin hum badalnahi sakte. to kya ye warranty me side ke rubber key change ho sakta hai.

Nokia N73 — BAD service provided by Nokia Care centre

I have bought N73 two maonths ago, I put it on charging on switch off mode, I took my cell to 2 nd Stage BTM layout Nokia care centre they told me that there is a water blokage in my handset even i dodn't know hw it is possible .they told me to collect after one week but now, its three week past every time they told me that they have sent it Head office and also they are charging me for all the replacement they will do, any body helps me regarding my Service request no :1646
I bought a new Nokia N73 in Sep 08 and now its keypad is not working. There is been no response from Nokia Care and they are delaying the repair of my cell by saying that there is inavailability of its keypad. The have given me the same excuse thrice and always tell me to wait for 15 days for some arrangement from their side.

I have purchesed a Nokia 2630 GSM phone from Electronic palace Gorakhpur on June 9th 2008.after 4 months, in october 2008 this phone dosen't switch on. I I went to SHREE CELLPHONE (A Nokia service center in gorakhpur)on 13th oct. 2008 they told me that we are sending it to lucknow for repair, (Warrenty ref. number APAINY[protected].

on 6th nov. 2008 they returned it without repairing or replacement and said that its key connector is missing so its warranty is void and we can't do any thing for this.


it is to notice that, when I given my cellphone to service center that time its warranty was vailid.
and now they are telling me that its key connector is missing.

if any part is missing in service center then how I will be responsible for that.


I want my phone repaired or replaced.

I am very harrasad by the nokia care's response.This has resulted in to a great loss to me as by the time, I feel a grate difficulty to have conversation with my counter parts and my honorable seniors.Now i am feeling that this peace/model has its individual problem & i want to change it. Please take a positive action for it neigther i wouldn't trust on Nokia products.

I have got a Nokia 3110C and which has got problems regarding display and the same problem occured four times in the same set. When I call on the customer care, I never get any saifactory answer. My mobile is still with Nokia care Centre from Jan 6th, 2009 and still they are saying that they will TRY to deliver the same on Feb. 5th. I can not understand why they are running their business if they can not handle customer services and can not reply for their complaints.

Its better to trust someother local repair shop instead of Nokia care..my Nokia mobile after a stay of 30 days in the hands of Nokia care has been returned with still the same problem.

Nokia — software update, replace my battery

i have purchased nokia mobile . its model name is sricco 8800 . i have gone to nokia care centre to upgrade the software of my mobile . i have went to nokia care in sector 22 chd, sector 8 pkl and sector 35 chd also they are not doing it . they say they dont have wire . i have purchased these mobile of 42500 . from day one its battery is so poor . it last for only 4 to 5 hrs . its very bad . kindly consider the complaint and let me now from where i can upgrade my software .please replace my battery
i have to lock my keypad, but my phone is not taking any security code, not even default codes.
perhaps anyone has changed my security code...
now, wat should i do..???

Greetings

This a world wide organisation, very popular, but now we afraid to Buy mobile from your company.
two times i have given my mobile(5310), nokia care(Sec2, Noida). first time Dec 29, they told me that there is some hanging problem it will take 2 days, after that i get my phone on 10 th Jan" stating me madam your phone can not be repaired here so we will send to our head center".

Then again i am facing the same problem after 4 days and again i have to go to the same nokia care, on 17 th jan i deposited my mobile again, i received my mobile on 31 st Jan, every time stating that " madam your mobile can not be repaired in our center so we i have to sent this to head office".

Now the strange think happen,
1)voice clarity is not there(while talking some sound in background)
2)LCD screen is not fit right way
3) music keys are broken

Kindly suggest how could we trust such a big organisation.
when i talked with manager to replace my mobile, told me if mobile is not repairable then only we replace the set.

Is that the right way to repair, suggest me how the big organisation will help the people

I(virat Kathuria)mobile no.[protected] bought a nokia N73 music edition GSM handset from one of your dealers on06/08/2008.As I was told that it has a warranty of 12 Months (1 year).After 5 months a problem was there suddenly the incoming audio quality became very poor.I got it checked with NET DOT SOLUTIONS, WZ 200BAJAJ TOWER, JAIL ROAD NEW DELHI.(nokia care office)
After checking the set they told me that it will be repaired UNDER WARRANTY &gave me a job sheet for the hanset no.[protected]/09011/48 DATED 14 JAN 2009.WARANTY REF.NO.APAINY[protected]. Since then they are lingerging on the complaint with one lame excuse or the other.they dont attend the phone if at all they do. just never reply back.
NOW I AM FED UP WITH ALL THIS SO I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO YOU PLEASE HELP .
OR ELSE I HAVE NO OTHER OPTION BUT TO GO TO THE CONSUMER COURT.

This is Aashish Goel . I have purchased one Nokia 2630 on Feb 2008 from Modinagar(u.p.). I believe on nokia blindly with their services and robustness. But just after eight month, the handset started giving troubles. Its software is not properly working, Hanging problem, charging pin problem, camera display is not clear. Mobile set is not working properly and gradually it stoped working. I approach to the nearest service center that is at Nokia care, shop no 54-A Ghandi Market (Near Bus Stand) Modinagar(u.p.) on 26/11/2008 against job order no. 152.IMEI NO. [protected]

Till date (i.e. around after a 2 and half month) neither I got my handset back nor I got any satisfactory answer from service center .They are just telling mobile go for repairing in the company. I am not at all expect this type of services in current totally service oriented era. Being a word class company please look into the matter. And do the needful as early as possible. So that I can remain my faith in your company.
