Nokia Care India — Company charge service charge but couldn't explain fault

Never go to NOKIA CARE CENTER for repairing your phone if it

is out of warranty. They charged me 50 rupees for service

charge, even after I refused that I did not want any repair!

They said pay 3500 rupees and we will repair and give you

after 3-4 days! When I asked what part of the phone is damaged

they said its company policy not to tell the component name.

only after customer pays for it and its repaired the company

can reveal it! But this is against consumer rights...A

customer is entitled to know officially what he is going to

pay for. Why and how can a customer pay without knowing for

what component he is paying and how can we be sure that nokia

is not overcharging. I have a nokia c6. The service center is

Mend Square in residency road, bangalore. My job sheet number

is 309_465550/120419/13.
