[Resolved]  Nokia Care — Service and Repair Harassment

I purchased a Nokia E71 set, ESN/IMEI Number [protected] from Mobile Store located at M.I. Road, Jaipur (Rajasthan) on 25/04/2010 which is in warranty period. The phone worked fine till 21/11/2010 and after which it made me rue the day when I thought that buying a Nokia phone was a smart move, I bought it for my business purpose…to receive and send email when I am travel as I am a Tour Operator, I deal with only International Tourist.

I have now spent a lot of time from my peak business days in going to and fro to the Nokia care centre: CARE CENTRE, A-17, KRISHANA NAGAR 1ST, NEAR GANDHI NAGAR SPEED POST OFFICE, TONK ROAD, JAIPUR. The problem with my phone is that it doesn’t switch on in other words its dead; which is in warranty period. (Xeroxes copy of Bill is attached).

I have gone to the centre on 22/11/2010 and they said; it has software problem and it till will take 1 hrs to install software, you please wait and they gave my Service Job Sheet, where mentioned the about Target Delivery Date is 22/11/2010. (Xeroxes copy of Job sheet is attached).

After 30 minutes they said its look like hardware problem, you have to submit it for at least 08-10 days because we have to send it to company, Gurgaon.

I called at Nokia Care after 10 days on 02/12/2010 and given the my Job sheet number[protected]/101122/72 to figure out my mobile status and after 3-4 time calling and holding for long time I was informed that my mobile still in Nokia Care Centre (Jaipur) in un-repaired condition. Then I call of the manager/concern person of that particular Nokia Care Centre Mr. Deepak at [protected] and after lots of attempts he came on the phone and told me that they are tying to repairing my mobile here itself but your mobile didn’t work.

I don’t know why they did experiments with my mobile?? I think, they don’t have a single professionlists and everything was suspicious over there.

Then I call to Nokia Care Head, Rajasthan Mr. Rahul Malhotra at [protected] and I put all things in front of him. Then he called to Mr. Deepak and Mr. Deepak call me back and apologized for that mistake and my inconvenience and said ‘you give us just one week and we send your mobile set to Gurgaon centre and handover it to you in working condition.

I call Nokia Care after one week they just said, your mobile didn’t back from Gurgaon center and you wait for more 2-3 days. After 18th day of submitting the mobile, Mr. Deepak call me and said, your mobile has been repaired, you can collect it.

I rushed back to the Nokia care centre next day where what I encountered was an utter debacle of the word Customer Care. When I checked my mobile the keys/button is not working properly, when I typed FULL STOP (.) it was showing ‘BRACKET’, when I typed BRACKET it was COMMA…everything was massed with many keys.

It shows the huge unprofessional system of Nokia Care and they have completely careless team. The Gurgoan Center must be checked my mobile before dispatched to Jaipur centre and Jaipur center must be checked it before call me. The Nokia Care has been wasted my valuable 18 days of my peak business time till 09/12/2010.

When I show the problem and insisted that they acknowledge the fact that it was incompetence on their part that they could not repair the phone or that the phone was defective in the 1st place, I was asked to wait for 1 hrs which is a routine. So after waiting I was passed on to a sweet talking customer care official who thought that my problem was a joke and was busy laughing with his colleagues instead of listening to my problem. He had no solution for my problem and was almost like a parrot with a few well rehearsed lines on top of that he was ill informed.

I then called to Mr. Deepak and explained about this problem then he talked to a colleague and said, we can’t repair it and we have to send it once again Gurgoan Centre and it will take more 10 days. When I tried to explained my problems, he told me ‘you can go to consumer court, we can’t help it…it will take more time’

I am forced to give negative reviews about it and in fact go out of my way to tell one and all that Nokia Phones are not as good they used to be a couple of years back and the after sale service that they provide is a joke. Now I am at wits end about what to do as soon the warranty period of my phone will be over after which I will be charged for any repair, in fact now I am of the opinion that the Nokia people want to waste my time so that they can wash their hands by claiming that the 1 year warranty period is over and there is nothing they can do now, or will ask me to cough off some amount to repair my phone.

The last resort left before me is to go to the consumer court and ask for justice.

I AM IN REAL TOUBLE FIRST AND FOREMOST I MUST TELL U THAT I AM A MUSIC LOVER SO INSTEAD OF GOING FOR AN I POD I BOUGHT NOKIA N-70 WHICH WORKED PROPERLY ONLY FOR SOME MONTHS I TOOK IT TO THE NOKIA CARE WHICH IS SITUATED IN MY CITY LUCKNOW THE CARE CENTRE IS ARYANS COMMUNICATION I HAD SUBMITTED MY MOBILE TO THEM ON 17 -7 2008 AND TOLD THEM THAT
1 - MY MY MOBILE WAS NOT ABLE TO CONNECT TO THE HEADPHONES OR THE USB DRIVE

2- WHEVEVER I MADE CALLS THE MUSIC GALLERY OPENED BY ITSELF AND THE CALL WAS AUTOMATICALLY CUT .

3- ISTEAD OF HELPING ME OUT ONE OF THE WORKERS TOLD ME I SHOULD SELL IT OF BECAUSE IT IS NOT REPAIRABLE .

4- WHEN I ASKED FOR THE JOB SHEET NO TJHEY ONLY TOLD ME ONLY HALF OF IT I ASKED THEM REPEATEDLY BUT THEY WOULDNT COMPLY

INSTEAD OF HELPING ME OUT I WAS TOLD THAT I SHOULD SELL MY PHONE THIS IS SOME CUSTMORE SERVICE THAT NOKIA HAS PROVIDED DONT U GUYS AT NOKIA EVEVN CHECK BEFORE ALLOWING SUCH PEOPLE TO REPIAR NOKIA SETS.

ITS A SHAME FOR ME THAT I BOUGHT NOKIA MOBILE .

Nokia Mobile — Repair fee collected but return without repair because non warranty

We bought N73 Nokia from NOKIA ZONE, NO.10 K.R.PUSHPAM COMPLEX, AARTHY THEATRE ROAD, DINDIGUL. The IMEI Number is [protected]. The loud speaker in this mobile is not working properly. Due to the reason we gave the cell to them on 21.11.2008 but they gave a reply that the cell had no warranty and they collected Rs.200/- for that. They are no any response the company mentioned above. So we decide to give acomplaindt regard this. We need a immediate reply.

Nokia E71 — End call and Camera buton not working

I have purchased Nokia E71 Two months earliear and I am facing problem in the Phone.. I have shown it to Nokia care and they are asking for 1200 rs. It is in warranty period then why should i pay the money.. I want reply on this on urgent basis...
My E71 Camera is not working - Anytime I press on Button -'Camera does not support function'
How do I rectify this.

Nokia Mobile — Absolute Harassment by Nokia Mobile Co.

I have purchaed NOKIA-5130 (Express Music) IMEI No. [protected] from M/s. Wizard Digitech Computers Pvt. Ltd., C-6/232, Yamuna Vihar, Delhi-53, vide their Bill No. 9330 dtd. 28.04.2009 for Rs. 5999/-

Just after 2 days of purchase, I have noticed fault in the phone i.e. Wrong timing of Messaging, memory problem and distrubed functions.

I have contacted the dealer to replace the phone, but he denied and advice me to contact the NOKIA Care Centre at Star Communications, Dilshad Garden, Delhi. People at service centre upgraded the software, but fault was not rectified, they asked me to leave the phone to get it repaired by the company’s repair/ rectification department at Mathura Road, New Delhi (Refer Service Centre Job Sheet No.[protected]/090502/36 dtd. 02.05.2009

They have also sent the phone Five times to company’s Delhi Centre, but the fault was still un-repaired. Fault in the same model was also reported by other customers, while my visit to the service centre.

I have also complained thrice to the Customare Care of Nokia Mobile, vide Complaint Ref. No. 1-2S9RYF dtd. 27.05.2009, they assured me to solve the problem within 48 hours, but all went into vain.

This is an absolute harassment by the Dealer of the Phone, Nokia Service Centre and Company itself. I am very much surprised to learn such incompetent act.

Since then I have paid many visits to the Service Centre to collect the phone but neither they rectify the fault nor replace the phone.

Now, I want the company to compensate me for the harassment & mental torture, I have suffered and also Nokia N-series mobile in lieu of my Nokia mobile.

I have bought one mobile(NOKIA 1600)before 2 years.Finding a small problem about the ringtone, I have given my mobile to NOKIA CARE, KOTTAYAM, KERALA.They said you have to leave the mobile for 1 week to repair it by giving it to THE HEAD OFFICE, ERNAKULAM, KERALA.After 1 week, I got it .After that the display light is twinkling everytime.I asked the reason and they replied, it cannot be replied, because it is liquid damage.The mobile is still in repair.

Nokia — for not repairing mobile on time .

on 9th of july i have given a nokia 2600 c to repair and on 19th it had been recieved back to nokia care . but they told that it had been send for repair again and telling me to come after 1 or 2 day back. but i have no response... so please solve out my problem.

NOKIA E-71 — Unprofessional Attitude

Hi, I have been a Nokia subscriber since 7 years now. For the past 6 months, I have been using E-71, and suddenly facing a problem in sending "sms". For the rectification of the same, I have deposited my set in "Aryans Communication, Park Road, Lucknow" thrice in past 15 days for same problem. Today after getting the delivery after 13 days, when again I faced the same problem, I called up Mr.Praveen, the Customer Service Manager over there, and was asked to contact Consumer Forum for further procedings. Such unproffesional attitude is totally neither expected, nor accepted from as BIG brand as Nokia. Request your empathy in this, as being in effects your brand name as well as goodwill. My current Job Sheet Number is[protected]/090730/57. Also I would bring to your notice that while visiting the "Aryans Communication", I found the "Feedback Form Box" opened and all forms were lying here and there, secondly there was no name mentioned, whom to contact for customer service (Photographs can be mailed, if required). Would appreciate a quick response of this communication.

Nokia Mobile — Not repairing within warranty period - Just harassing

I have give my Nokia E51 Mobile to Nikia Care Crazy Infovision, Kolkata on 14th August. This is the second time I am giving this phone (within warranty period) to Nokia Care as in the first time it came back without repairing. This time I am only getting harassment from Crazy Infovision.

Is there anybody to give me judgement. Nokia care is making fun of the customers. They are lier and exploiding people like mad.

sir i have nokia6500s mobile ,some days before my mobile has screen problem so i went to nokiacare whose address is MOBILE HUT,25/51,M.G. MARG ,CIVIL LINES,ALLAHABAD,211001.my problem is that sir after repairing at the date 6/9/2010 ,with in 10 days my mobile again went to its previous condition after which i again went to nokiacare .previously they have taken charge of Rs.2500 now when i went again for repairing they wanting again more money ,sir i would like to ask you which type of servicing they providing that mobile came to its previous condition. it seems a case of fraud. they also warn me if i go to consumer forum or court they have no problem,i think they have no fear of Indian judiciary.sir i feel very panic condition now and due to too much far from my house that nokiacare ,i have spend lots of money in the form of petrol.
sir i request you to solve my problem and give them proper punishment for such fraud work. sir my demand is nokia company give me either new mobile nokia6500s or return my whole money that is total Rs. 20,000
(including all my wasted money).

Nokia — Harass by nokia care

Dear Sir,

I m IRFAN AHMED. I had purchased a mobile at 26-feb-2011 Model No.:-
Nokia C2-01. When do i connect the mobile to my PC for using Internet
Browsing that is not connected to my PC and Show the problem during
Hardware found. Problem shows (The problem occured during Hardware
Installation. Your new hardware might not be installed properly and
modem not found) i have installed latest version pcsuite in my PC.
Afterthat i had gone nokia care center for solve the problem. Customer
care executive in nokia care checked my mobile and returned me and
said to me that your problem solved afterthat i checked again to my pc
but problem did not solve and I also checked other PC and also checked dealer
PC and I have also changed data cable but shows the same problem (The
problem occured during Hardware Installation. Your new hardware might
not be installed properly and modem not found) . I had gone again
there and said to him that my problem did not solve than he told me that i had
checked your mobile yesterday and solved your problem you can go now.
Afterthat I said to him if you cannot solve my problem than change my
mobile then he use slang lauguage and said (ja jisse compalint karni h
karle mein tera mobile thik nahi karunga) this is not fare. I had gone
nokia care 5 times in 3 days and I formated windows 10 times in 3 days. So,
Please solve my problem otherwise change my mobile.

Nokia — MOBILE REPAIRING

Dear Sir / Madam,
I bought a nokia mobile Model -X2 from THE MOBILESTORE Invoice no -UP/43514 on 30 jan 2011
IMEI No- [protected].
From the day first day this mobile had very bad battery backup it takes 4 -5 hours to fullly charged
on 2nd April 2011 this mobile gone switched of and not started again. I went to NOKIA CARE RDC Rajnagar Ghaziabad (UP)
They checked the mobile and gave a Service Job sheet to me and ask to get mobile on next day (5th April)

I visited nokia store next day but they told that it has mejor problem and it will take one week for repair.

on 16/04/2011 I again visited NOKIA STORE after getting a call about mobile repair. but when I visited

They told that it will take another 20-25 days to be repaired and they have provided on mobile to me for this period

I feel that I had made big mistake by purchasing this mobile and again by giving
it to nokia care. I dont know how long period required to repair a mobile.I feel myself Totally cheated.
I have no Idea where to complain for quick response. I want my mobile otherwise nokia should Replace
this Mobile.
I dont have somuch time to visit nokia office two ,three,four times. Please Please nokia give some solution

nokia x2 01 — i'm getting unwanted calls

i'm getting unwanted calls from [protected] for a long period of time.. it is very annoying and if i talk back those guys are talking abusively.. please do block this number making it unable to make further phone calls
