Nokia - N70 — Pathetic service at Nokia Care - BTM Layout | |
Hi My N70, which was bought in Aug-2006 (for Rs. 17, 000) had some display problems. I took it to the BTM Layout, Stage 2 Nokia Care unit and submitted the same for repair I was told that the phone has IC issue and the IC needs to be replaced which would be done in a week. On following up after a week, I was told it would take 2 more days to get the IC. On further following it up, they told me, it would take a month I got irritated and tokk the handset from them. I submitted it to the Nokia Care unit (Star Electronics) in Koramangala, near Forum. The engineer after checking the same told me that the phone has been tampered. This was shocking and I told him that I had only given it to Nokia Care unit in BTM Layout. He told me he would try to repair the phone, but the IC has been removed and not put back properly, which has damaged the main board He tried and could not resolve it. I need to get my worthless phone back from him I dont understand that even after buying so expensive phones, why cant we get better quality of phones? Also to top that, there are Care centers who do not have competent people to do the job. Pathetic service.
