OVERCHARGING NOT DISCLOSING TRUE COST AND DETAILS ,CHARGING 10TIMEMES MORE THAN OTHER COMPANIES.
NUERA TELECOM ARE GENUINE RIP OFF ARTISTS, CLAMING TO HAVE ONLY 1-1.5 CENTS PER MINUTE CALLS WITHIN CANADA.THEY HAVE CHARGED 39 CENTS CONNECTION FEE FOR EVERY CALL , RESULTING IN CHARGES OF OVER $88 AND THEY ARE KEEPING DEPOSIT OF $38 TOO.THIS SERVICE SHOULD HAVE COSTED ME ONLY $15-20 WITH COMPARABLE COMPANIES.ON TOP OF EVERYTHING THEY HAVE BEEN AUTOMATICALLY DEDUCTING SO CALLED PADDED UP BILLS FROM MY MASTERCARD .THE COMPANY SALESMEN NEVER EVER TOLD ME FOR EVERY CALL THEY WILL CHARGE ME 39 CENTS CONNECTION FEE. PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY AND DONT BE TAKEN IN BY THE COMPANY.

NUERA SCAM, THEY PROMISE ME TO USE THE PREPAID SERVICE WITH MAX $150 WORTH OF CALLS, AND IT WILL CLOSE AUTOMATICALLY. ENDED UP PAYING ALMOST $400, AND THEY CHARGE MY BANK WITHOUT MY AUTHORIZATION. YES THIS COMPANY STINK AND DESERVE TO BE CLOSE ASAP. NEVER SIGN UP WITH THIS COMPANY...

This complaint is regarding a calling card company Nuera Telecom through which we registered for a service to call India at 1 Cents/minute; however, I was charged $6 for a call made to India for about 41 minutes (approx 14 Cents/minute).
I was contacted by a salesman of Nuera Telecom in Oct, 2009 who offered me a service for 1Cents/minute to call India. The offer was attractive as other cards charge 1.9 to 4.9 Cents/minute. We were asked to register on www.nueratel.com website. When registering we were not informed that we would be charged $38.95 for security. After signing up we noticed a $38.95 refundable written on the home page of the website, upon asking, the salesman replied we were charged a one time $38.95 security deposit refundable within 24 hours of disconnection of service. We got uncomfortable with the deal and later in the day decided to discontinue the service and asked for refund. That is when we were told several new terms and that $38.95 was refundable only after 45 days. They sent us link to a completely new website called nueratelecom.net with a password to login; as they said we would be able to view terms and conditions only when we register and login. We waited and followed up for more than 3 months and every time there was a different story told. We did not receive any refund. After being completely harassed and fed up, when they offered a $50.00 worth of calling card with 1 Cents / minute rate to India instead of a refund, we opted it. I called India in the subsequent weeks and in approximate 41 minutes talk time I was charged $6 instead. When I called back to confirm why I was charged about 14cents/min, they dropped calls, put us on hold, told us they will check with technical services, and finally they said that the charges with connection fee and everything is 12Cents / minute. They are complete frauds and misrepresented information and misled us at every single step. We would like to know what action can be taken against them.
Please file a complaint against them on Better Business Bureau for misrepresentation, misleading, and harassment if you are looking for some respite from your harrowing exprience.

Nuea telecom is freud company not telling customers the true cost.They tell costomers that there is no extra cost on top of 1.5 C per min to India from canada.They are group of liers calling people of all over Canada. i am filing case against them with consumer fraud and BBB Canada.

Come on guys stop exagerating you know damn well the rates are one of the cheapest rate in the market, u just dont want to pay for the service.i'm currently using their service and i have no complaints about them, well i felt you also need to know the other side of the story..

this message is for indian people: Indian people working in a neu era, miami, florida. usa. and they did'not tell u truth as a indian.
i want to inform all the people for future that neu era telecom is not trustable company . they misguide the people about rates/min. to call india. they charge three times than the rate they give you. (for e.g. they say 1cent/min but they charge 2.9cent/min when you get invoice.
when u talk to him they will tell u different hidden charges and condition. so, be aware before u use neuera.

I see here a lot of INDIAN ppl complaining about this company, do u wanna know the truth? i used to work for them, and read this yeah, U INDIAN GUYS GET RIPPED OFF BY YOUR OWN PEEPS!! the sales dpt is at india, they would blatantly lie to their customers in order to get sales and get comissions, they just dont care, i worked for customer service and had to deal with that shit all the time, although we didnt have much trouble with latin americans, as the service was not being offered to them by indians.
So you see now they kind of people that u are, u cant even trust urselves!!!

this company i try to stopped the my account because i am at India BUT THEY DID NOT stooped.WITH OUT FORMATION THEY TOKED MONEY MY BANK.

the rates that they give me initially was ok, but then they charge fees and taxes more than the other companies.
the deposit that they charged me to sign up, they wouldn't give it to me back in cash, they gave me a calling card they said it is for $50, but I only was able to use about $5.
this company is 100% rip off.

NU ERA TELECOM IS A BULLSHIT!!! THEY HAVE AGENTS FROM THE PHILIPPINES CALLING ME EVERYDAY TO SIGN UP FOR THEIR SERVICE! THEY TRAIN THEIR EMPLOYEES TO LIE TO YOU!!! THEY GO BY A SCRIPT THAT THEY USE ALL THE TIME...ALWAYS WANTING YOUR CREDIT CARD INFO. AND CLAIMING THE SERVICE IS DIRT CHEAP. BUT WHEN YOU GIVE THEM YOUR INFO, THEY CHARGE $35 PLUS OTHER FEES ON YOUR CREDIT CARD. PLUS THERE IS NO CUSTOMER SERVICE CALLBACK NUMBER!!! I SIGNED UP FOR ASIA TALK TELECOM, , , , ANOTHER PREPAID COMPANY THAT I USED, I HAD $60 BALANCE TO USE TO CALL THE PHILIPPINES AND THAT COMPANY WENT BANKRUPT...SO BASICALLY I TRIED CALLING THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE, TO GET MY $60 BACK BUT ALL I GOT WAS A BUSY SIGNAL!!! DONT GIVE YOUR INFO OUT TO THESE COMPANIES, CUZ THEY WILL MAKE YOUR LIFE A LIVING HELL!!!

I use NuEra Telecom from 2 years & i didnt charge more than i use, mayby u charged alot because u r group of fools !!! ... use it wisely and u'll be satisfide with it ... u know that is the cheapest service ever, no company can chalenge it ... by the way there r two plans (No connection fee / With connection fee) because i hears some ideots talking about $0.39/call ... u can call india for 1.9 cents and u'll not pay any connection fee, dont use the 1.0 cent plan and pay $0.39/call ... IDEOTS !

Zinger is the biggest liar. NuEra is a Fraud company. I have already filed their complaint with BBB USA. Their Headquarter is in Florida. Hopefully they will take some action against them. I am preparing a draft note to go public/ news media about this fradulant activity.

I agree that NuEra Telecom is fraud company. I wanted to cancel out the service within a month after activation because I didn't receive any confirmation letter or something that I signed up for that service. Now, I did not get any refund as they promise to pay if request within the month for cancellation. The person above who is calling others" IDEOTS", I beleive he is one of them working there.

NuEra Telecom is one of the biggest fraud company. I recieved lot of calls from their agent and unfortunately signed for it. On my very first bill I realised that these people are croocks and I cancelled my connection on the same day. I am still waiting for my security to be refunded. I was told it will be in my account within 30 days. My money was not returned so I called Nu Era again. Thaey told me a totally different story this time and said they are not going to refund my money but I can have their calling cards.
I am planning to despute the charges with my credit card compny. I am also looking forward to bring it to the attention to the BBB Canada.
MY ADVICE NEVER SIGN UP WITH THIS COMPANY THEY WILL SAY ALL THE LIES.
