[Resolved]  Octagon Builders & Promoters (P) Ltd — Non allotment of Plot as per terms of the company even after 3 & 1/2 years

Sir,
I have booked a plot with Octagon Builders & Promotors (P) Ltd in their Santoor City_II project at Dehradun in Oct., 2006. I have paid Rs1, 25, 000/- the three installments at interval of two months in time. And as per terms and conditions of the company I have to pay the balance amount in 12 equal monthly installments on getting allotment of plot by the company. But the company has failed to allot the plot to me due to one or the other reason best known to them. The company's head office is at Noida. I am making so many quarries till date but all the time similar reply is being heard by me on phone that very shortly they are alloting the plot to me. I am a govt. employee. I have spent the money by cutting bread of my family. I could not understand what I should do to get the plot from the company. Kindly help me.

Dear all myself sanjay..i found the complaints very interesting..as I also got my plot registered in Santour city of 148.16 sq yards & was entertained very well whenever I visited the office...its strange!!!

We have booked 2 plots in santour city II, and desposited Rs. 86550/- + 86550/-. But due to some problems we were unable to deposit the rest of the money but now we have deposited the money and now they are not giving us plot in dehradun and they are forcing us to buy plot in haridwar. we are not interested in haridwar's plot so we asked them either they give us plot in dehradun or else pay us our money back after cutting there 20% penalty for withdrawing (as mentioned in there legal document).

But now they are refusing us to pay money and forcing us to buy plots in haridwar.

what can we do pls. help

i have booked a plot in akhil bhartiya aawasiya yojna and company alot me my plot so i satisfied with the company.
I had also booked a plot at Santour II. I have recently been called by Octagon for allotment of plot.
myself pankaj. its really interesting to hear your complaints..because I got my plot registered at Santour City Dehradun of 180 sq yards.I am having all my papers with me & they have entertained me whenever I have been in their office..hope every thing is fine...they given me good response...

I am one of the victim of Octagaon looter. I had also booked plot in Santour City DDN which was transferred to Santur Haridwar later on. Now they are asking for money for Santour City DDN stating that they are ready to give possession of Plot at DDN. Is it true? Kindly pull me out from this situation.

Hello every body. You all are right. Octagon Builder is a cheater. I am also sufferer as deposited around 4 lac with them. The plot allotted to the investors are not yet marked. It is also doubtfull, if they have acquired the land till date for all allotted plots. I wrote them twice for regunding money but no reply from then hence I am too thinging of legal action. so please guide and I am will too join any fourm if formed against octagon builder. regrds

Complaints written on 04 Mar 11 by Sanjay, on 24 Jun 11 by Pankaj and Psuthar are fake and written by same person, to confuse the actual victims. Please ignore the saboteurs of the movement against the fraud company of Octagon Builders. The best and the most legal way is to approach Dist Consumer court, Noida. No need to hire a lawyer if you can just attend to the court dates with all documents. A simple application on a plain paper can be filed with a nominal fee on the amount claimed. Pl read consumer protection act 1986 avl on the net. Already a case of same property/ scheme has been won by Wg Cdr Amit Kumar from Indian Air Force against Octagon Builders.

So.. don't crib and don't become Baba Ramdev. Just Jaago Grahak..Jaago.

Octagon Builders & Promoters Pvt. Ltd. have launched a new scheme of plots of 120 and 150 yards in Haridwar as Akhil Bhartiya Awasiya Yojna which they claim that the possession of lands is in the company's name. Its draw is scheduled on 26th Sept 2011. Kindly throw some light on this whether I should go with it or not as after readings above mentioned complained of the buyers, I am in dilemma. What about the land's and company's rapport authenticity.

I had booked a flat is Shimla, Apple county, with the octagon builders. The project was cancelled due to non-availability of land . When I asked for my money back [28 lakhs] they tell me they do not have funds and forcing me to buy into their haridwar project. They are big frauds, I am planning to file a legal case against them.But was wondering how I can stop other helpless consumers also falling prey to their fraud
Has anybody file a complaint against octagaon. I also want to file a case. Please suggest me some lawyer

I have initiated the consumer court case against Octagon builders in Consumer Court, Saini Enclave, East Delhi.
It has been 9 months and have been through 6 hearings.

Hi fellow victims. I am making criminal complaint against this fraud builder. I have collected lot of information and documents to nail them. I am resident of Hardwar having contacts. You can join in this expose. Write out a complaint letter along with copies of your receipts and send scan copies to me at [protected]@gmail.com. In the instant case, the Octagan Builder is having their registered office and company is also registered in Delhi. Accordingly several persons even if they are investors have filed winding up petition before the hon'ble high court of Delhi and they have received their money. For filing a winding up petition in the high court, you need to first issue a notice and then file a winding up petition. I have filed 13 winding up petition, which is pending adjudication before the Hon'ble HIgh Court. However, am attaching the orders passed in one of the winding up petition, wherein the builder had returned the money.

I also purchased the plot in Santour City, Haridwar. My plot reistered last year in March, 2012. There were almost 25-30 more person who registered their plots in Roorkee Court and also I got the Mutation paper from Roorkee Court to make sure I am owner of this land. But the question is that development work is very very slow and this is the main reason the rate are not increasing. There are hardly 5-6 worker to do all the things. If the working speed will remain same it will take 8-10 years to complete the township.
