Dear all it is not a complaint. This company recruit trainee marine engineers from engineering colleges. Selected students have to pay 3.7lac as a training cost offered by the sponsored colleges of this company.
As per they said after complication of these trainings we got the job in which salary is about 70000 per month. The cost of study material , hostel , food and every thing is included in this amount. So if any body is aware about this recruitment then kindly post your suggestions its all about many students careers. Thanks |

1.where this 4 months +9 months training will held, u have your colleges or what? is there any test conduted between this training period. if yes then what abt those students who by chance fail?
2. after completin our training will we be given some kind of degree or certification by your organisation. if yes then from which uiversity or organisation?
3. after completing 13 months of training where wll we go. we have to search our job by own or u will provide it?

i want to say that my left hand's index finger was slightly cut last year...and im right handed...and im physically fit in all the other aspects and can do all the work very normally without any problem...then am i applicable for being an electotechnical officer, or trainee navigating officer or trainee marine engg...if not what kind of jobs can i join in ur firm...im doing electronic engg..7th sem...plz reply on my mail...

I hav been selected by omega maritime services private limited on th basis od written test and interview on 6th nov 2009 at bharat institute of technology, meerut (UP) and and have my medical examination on 15th nov...
Im also curious about the same things but hav a few suggestions...
1 Ask the Omega people as an example the name of 1 or 2 institutes in which we will be sent for training...( The most Important point )
2 Talk to the DG shipping, Mumbai about this.
3 ask whether they will give us a CDC - Continuous Discharge Certificate or some other sort of govt. approved certificate or not...
I'm about to do the same things as i have suggested and will pot again as soon as i get to know the details...

I wanna know that did OMEGA provide Loan facility or we have to arrange on our own.
I also want to know tahat what are the physical standards for the ECE students, did physically challanged person(by one leg 54%) join omega.
