This is Vikram Sarin here.All your complaints are false and frivlous.Our candidates who are in the institutes or ships have no complaints whatsoever.Even if there are minor complainants these are tackled soon to the satisfaction of the candidate. Still if anyone is not satisfied he is encouraged to take his fees and leave.
We fail to understand who are these people who are complaining.If they are genuine why don’t they come to our office and meet us.Or if they don’t want to come to office they can talk to me on my cell no. +91-[protected].
It seems to me that the complaints are coming from people who have vested interest in misguiding the candidates and take monitory advantage by cheating them.
Another point which i would like to clarify that all the courses which we are running and the institutes are D.G.Shipping approved .
It not a requirement that all the personnel in this business to be seafarers.

My name is Riaz Saiyad recruited from ADIT College from Anand, Gujrat through OMEGA. I have sucessfully done the progm from academy and now sailing. I am geting the stippend 500usd. along with me i personally know the another 4 to 5 students joined from gujrat got the placement in a very renowned company and geting stippend around 800usd.yes of course you need have patience to make a career in merchant navy. I requested all the students who are viewing this site that don't get biased by any comments. I personally know Mr. Anand sir and OMEGA who really take care of the students.

i m also a selected candidate but waiting for my graduation degree to get complete. so i was searching its feedback
after seeing these complains and there clarifications... i m confused...
As mentioned in ur OMEGA brochure it's clearly mentioned for GES(nautical deck cadet) dat they will get certificates in shipping and transport(CST)issued by AIMS & IMETA along with basic STCW coarses as approved by director general of shipping, govt. of india. why is it not mentioned in other training programs for GME or for ETO... this means dat OMEGA is not providing certificates approved by DG, gov. of india..???????
secondly, pl clarify me soon dat as said by omega dat there is only one ETO post on one ship then is it possible dat ur all trained ETO officers r placed after 4+9 month training..??? as they have last priority then ones who have marine engr. degree frm gov. of india...

as per your querries the GES program is approved by AMSA, Austrailan Government.
D.G. Shipping and AMSA are different entities, hence once the GES program is approved by AMSA here DG Shipping is not playing any role. The other program which you have mentioned like GME and ETO is as per the guidelines of DG Shipping Govt. i was selected for ETO course..given around 2lakh 80 thousands to omege.. this malhotra is very bad person, , he didn't take care of students, , join karne se pehle bahut kuch bolte hai but jab paise mil jate hai to bahut harrase karte hai. my request to student is not to join this company... i[censored] want to spoil ur life nd money then go ahead... do not go by what they r saying.. i[censored] want to join mrchny navy then go directly.. i have faced the trouble, thats why m saying. capt dilip has given right pts about them
I[censored] wnt to spnd money why don't u go to company that r having there own ships like great estern, anglo eastern nd so many. Omega is just an agent. Earning money frm u. Omega bolta hai ki cdc unka kam hai. Ghanta unka kam hai. Eto cdc cumes in 1 yr. My advice is go directly. I[censored] nt get jb after trng then u cn get agent fr job. Aman
My question to omega. Just six months back u told that ges course is aproved to neazeland. Australia se kab aur kaise hu. U have writen that don't mingle to stundts. This eto course is nt aproved by dg shiping. My advice to student is not to pay for eto course. Just do stcw from any coleg undr dg. Just for 10000. Then aply directly for cdc

So guys who all are giving complain are rather fake or simply they can not tolerate the sucess of OMEGA. Don't get biased by this fake people who are not having any base, simply you can trust them and join to OMEGA.

If anybody has GOOD or BAD experience from OMEGA directly I mean if anybody himself or any of his relative has any direct experience from OMEGA (no any kind of heard rumours ), he can share their experience here so that truth can come out.
I'm also planning to go to merchant navy. So it would be a great help.

And Mr. Gaurav, if you wants to join Navy, follow a secure path. Don't ever think of joining merchant navy through OMEGA.
