Dear sir,

i am resident of trichy.i have bought one samsung split AC from MGB electronics,No 833,sathy road,coimbatore-641 012 vide bill no: I/SR/1011/CBE/355 dt 09.04.2010.
i have clearly given the address for installation also. already 5 days passed away. still installation not happening.coimbatore office given trichy dealer no for installation. they not even picked the phone.

actually my friend recommends for samsung AC. i am totallally frustrated the service of samsung.
totally unacceptable. do the needful.

    Hi,
    I have purchased a Samsung AC along with other products from AC (32" LCD TV, a mobile phone and a refrigerator) in 2007. This was one of the worst ever investment or rather burning of money i have ever done.

    My AC was working well for an year and few months. By late 2008, suddenly one fine night, my AC got switched off and also its stabilizer. I found my fuse being blown. There is a separate wiring for my AC and it has got a separate fuse to protect other equipments. I changed the fuse and the same thing happened next day. I kept doing this for couple of days and got sick of it and left doing it. Everything happens when the compressor get powered up. As long the outdoor unit is not powered up, indoor unit (just the fan) works fine. due to my personal reasons, i was not able to attend to this issue as it would cost me some money.

    Recently i lodged a complaint with the customer care and after couple of days a guy came to check the issue and said the compressor should be changed and since (fortunately) my compressor was under warranty, they changed the compressor. I also bought a brand new double booster stabilizer.

    My luck didnt even last for one day after having installing this double booster. I switched on the AC around 11pm and by 1am the fuse was gone. The voltage was quite normal around 190-200v. I am back with my original problem. I did the fuse again and the next day, the compressor started and in 5minutes time again my fuse is blown.

    I had my electrician check my AC wiring thoroughly while installing my booster. I have sent emails to the support, the vendor who does the service for Samsung. I have 0% hope that i would get any response.

    For any reason, DO NOT EVER THINK OF BUYING SAMSUNG PRODUCTS. IF YOU WANT TO BLOW YOUR MONEY, GO AHEAD. IF YOU WANT VALUE FOR MONEY. COMPARE PRODUCTS FROM OTHER MANUFACTURERS LIKE LG, ONIDA ETC. SAMSUNG PRODUCTS HAVENT BEEN WORKING FOR ME BEYOND THEIR WARRANTY PERIOD.

    Hmmmm...

    Looks like the fault is with low voltage... Is your electrical line in your home a basic fuse box or 3 Phase MCB... If it is Three Phase MCB, then when the voltage goes beyond a certain level, the MCB for the Airconditioner line will trip and the fuse will not get blown... However you must give the tripper atleast 10 mins to cool down as frequent tripping will cause the fuse to get blown and will damage the tripper...

    One more point is that if the voltage in your residence is less than 145 volts then the double booster will not be of any use... So go for a triple booster which will work even with voltage of around 120 volts...

      I purchased a dumbo Mobile of your company and suffering since the decision I had made. can you imagine I cant hear call waiting tone during conversation. This is very basic function which is available in each and every fone available in Indian market.
      I call ur customer care no. 30308282 fourth time on[protected], BP No. is [protected] . They said that in this fone call waiting tone is very low. what the silly plea this is!!
      the fact is call waiting beep is too low to hear while conversation. if it is so, and you know about it, then you should quote it on pack.

      I m Assistant Editor in Hindustan (Delhi) and This lacuna of corby would hamper my professional carrier in great way.

      Pl, return my money and get ur mobile fone back. I m pruchasing another fone. Otherwise I will b free to move consumer court. Hoping for positive response in three days.

      i am using corby txt and its a gr8 phone you can't complain in consumer court i guess as here company didn't cheat you as you didn't ask it to company before purchasing, just keep eye on phone you are planning to purchase before you spend your valuable bucks on it.

        Dear Sir,
        This is to bring to your knowledge that I am your customer, I purchased a refrigerator from you in 2003/4 Model SR37WG2/XTC 360 litres. Within a week we reported that the performance was very very poor and that the food kept inside was getting spoiled/stale. We enquired as to what is the ideal temperature we should expect in both the compartments but were never told. We recorded the temperatures in both the Freezer and the non-Freezer compartments (which were very similar to what we recorded now) for proof which we gave to your company personnel. Your service personnel insisted that they will fix the problem but we insisted that the piece be replaced. With great reluctance they did. The replaced refrigerator though better than the earlier was never satisfactory, we wanted to verify if it was performing optimally or not hence we again enquired the expected temperatures in the Freezer and non-Freezer compartment again they dodged the question, they said if we have any problem they will attend. I regret to inform that ever since we have had to keep our cooked food in the freezer during the summer months in particular to stop it from going bad.
        You will appreciate that the Freezer compartment appears to be performing alright but the Non-Freezer compartment is dismally bad right from the beginning.
        Coming to the present, on 6th March 2010 we registered our complaint with[protected] vide Ref. # [protected].

        7th March 2010 your local service personnel (Mr. Ram Mohan mob. # [protected]) attended, after verifying he fixed a small problem with the door through which the cold was leaking said that the gas level is alright and informed that the problem is because the fridge is too close to the wall which he moved a little away and asked us to observe and that he will come the following day to verify.
        8th March 2010 The problem persisted. Mr. Ram Mohan did not come. We started recording the temperatures in both the compartments. Please Refer our files SamsungRefrigerator.pdf and SamsungRefrigerator.xls
        9th March 2010 We called your local Service Centre Ph. # 44344016/8 to enquire, we were informed that Mr. Ram Mohan is on leave that they will send another person (Mr. Pawan) whose mobile # [protected] was also given to us. We called Mr. Pawan but he declined to come as it was very late he said. We had to call[protected] to update the status following which Mr. Pawan phoned and visited. He verified the gas and informed that it was low 0.4 - 0.5 where as it should be 8.0. He said he will send the concerned people to do the charging and that it will cost us approx. Rs. 1,000/- we agreed.
        10th March 2010 the gas charging people arrived, their chief observed and also verified that the Freezer was maintaining a good temperature and the ice formation was good hence there was no need to recharge the gas. Nevertheless he verified the Non Freezer compartment temperatures from our record (Ref. files SamsungRefrigerator.pdf and SamsungRefrigerator.xls) and asked us to cooperate for 2 days to allow them to take our fridge to their workshop/service centre for observation. We agreed but We had a party coming on 14th hence we requested them to take it on 15th March.
        15th March 2010 The Service Centre personnel moved our refrigerator to the place for observation.
        18th March 2010 the refrigerator was returned after due observation and ??? we don’t know. Mr. Fareed Mob. # [protected] was now dealing with us. He said that refrigerator was verified and that it will function properly.
        19th March 2010 we informed the temperatures we recorded to Mr. Fareed, he was kind enough to visit us. He was at a loss to understand why the refrigerator was not cooling the lower compartment to the expected 2 degrees centigrade. He closed the left side vents in the Freezer compartment with adhesive tape Ref. file TRI_8536.JPG and removed the vent panel from the Non-Freezer compartment Ref. file TRI_8529.JPG and TRI_8537.JPG. He then asked us to observe for the next 2 days and report to him, which we did. The temperature in the Freezer comp. was perfect according to him and you will also agree from the temp chart attached.
        25th March 2010 we recorded the temperatures till this day. If you take the readings between 21st and 25th Mar 2010 you will appreciate that the average temp. in the Non-Freezer compartment is 11.75 degrees centigrade and -12.5 in the Freezer compartment.
        Now would you be kind enough to address this problem on priority and spare us further misery.

        Dear Sir,
        I have been given estimayes of Rs 1250/- for gas recharge and fixing of leaking joints in tube.
        I do not have the receipt. But can give the bar code scanned image.
        The details written are: 0230 and control no( not s/n no) A02297. I am sure you can track. I bought it in late 2006 from RC Electronics in Lajpat nagar.
        Please advise whether this is covered in the compressor warranty. If yes, do we still have to pay.

          Hi,

          I am chasing samsung electronics for getting accessories for HT-TZ425N. Shah electronics (Dealer) initially cheated me by giving faulty piece. Where samsung took the responsibility of replacing it.

          After that, I asked for wireless card (They informed me it is optional, then I said, don't mind to pay, pl. inform me where I can get that card), for that Samsung is just dragging it for months. If Samsung is not capable of maintaining the stocks any where india, why do they sell the products by giving wrong info.

          I decided to approach consumer forum, if it is not getting resolved in next couple of weeks. I will also keep spread the incident happen to me through internet and also print media to ensure awareness about these guys.

              I have purchased a samsung refrigerator(RA19/CDUX1/XTL/2010) in october2010. The chill tray is broken & refrigarator omits very high sound at day and extreamly loud noise at night.The sound is too much irritating bcoz of that we cant even sleep properly .This problem is from last 2 months, two service persons has came and check it at twise but i dont get the replaced tray & not solved the problem of noise yet today so plz take proper and immidiate action.

                    I have bought samsung GT B5722 mobile 25 days back. I am not able to connect to the internet through my PC by using mobile as the modem. I complained a lot about this to their technical & service centre but of no help. I also contacted other people who have lodged similar complaints in this forum, but all in vain.                       I bought a Samsung Corby Por (GT B5310) on 13th Feb, 2010.
                      I got 2 cds of KIES. I installed the software by selecting the CUSTOM mode which gives the option to connect to the Internet.
                      But the problem arise when I connect my phone with my comp. SAMSUNG KIES can't detect my phone...
                      In DEVICE MANAGER I found "MTP" and "SAMSUNG USB Mobile Logging" is not installed properly.
                      Can anybody tell me how to update this two hardware driver...?

                        Before giving any further details i hope filing a complaint online would definately help...i had bought a refrigerator(side by side) from samsung dealer bathinda five yeas ago. i started facing problem with its cooling three years ago..earlier an engineer from ludhiana came and fixed the problem by replacing a part and told us that the main cause of less cooling is frequent power cuts in the area..now we are again facing the problem of less/no cooling after three years..i had lodged a complaint on[protected] with samsung toll free customer care number[protected]. the complaint no: is [protected]..although the samsung people claim that customer complaint is heard with in 24 hrs but until today no mechanic has visited us..i am highly disappointed with the after sales service of samsung. i regret why i bought such a top line product of samsung and have almost made my mind that in future i will never buy any of samsung product.
                        i dnt know how the company would survive with such a negative after sales service attitude in present competitive environment..

                        Samsung — side by side Refrigerator

                        We bought this on Aug 22 2005 (model RS21NCSW) in Bangalore, India. We did not have any problems with it for almost 2 years or so. Then, we noticed that when the power went out briefly (we have a generator and the power almost always comes back within a minute), the fan was making a racket and the temperature in the fridge would rise abruptly (it's upto 18C and therefore food spoilage etc). Each time this happened, we called the Samsung service center. Each time the service technician was here and opened the back wall of the fridge section from the inside, there was chunk of ice in the well surroundng the fan. Now, it seemed obvious that the fans blades were hitting the ice and therefore the racket. Each time, I tried to get the service technicians to try and figure out why the ice was forming, the answer was the same, "we'll replace the fan, clear the ice the problem will go away". This is terrible servicing. The fan has been replaced 3 times.

                        There's 2 thoughts that come to mind regarding Samsung servicing.
                        1) They are trying to make money off their service department.
                        2) They simply have imcompetent people who do not enough training and are being told what steps to take if a particular problem occurs.

                        I would really like to believe that it's the second thought that's true, however distressing it is.

                        Now, I believe that this problem is not going to fix itself. And I don't want to continue gambling on the quality of food. I really would like to hear from Samsung about this issue. We are perfectly willing to pay for repair work if someone could figure out what's wrong. There has to be someone in the Samsung world who knows what to do when this problem happens. By the way, there's several reports on the web about this problem.

                        While looking for information on the web, turns out this is a problem for these models all over the world. BBC watchdog highlighted this problem and Samsung woke up suddenly and extended the warranty for the fridges in UK. Clearly, they are admitting to a problem.

                          This is to communicate that brand samsung has one of the poorest services. I bought an AC in April 2009 and wanted my first service to be done in April 2010. I called up customer care on 5th April 2010 and they said we will get your AC serviced with in 24- 48 hours. Its been 12th April and there is not even a single response from their concerned Department. I have called customer care for atleast 10 times and evrytime they have the same excuse that "Someone will call you". I just want to ask When?

                          I am really fed up by After Sales services provided by Samsung and will never buy a Samsung Product in my life and also suggest the same to others.

                          Its just a brand with out any support.

                            Hi,

                            I have a bought a Samsung LCD TV from Bajaj Electronics, Punjagutta on 05-Apr-10 and I was promised that the TV will be installed and wall-mounted within 2 days.
                            I got a customer number from Samsung through SMS and after that nobody called me from Samsung regarding the installation.
                            I kept calling on the customer care number and everytime I got a reply saying that the technical person would be calling me in 1 Hr/ 2 Hr, but no result.
                            Today, on 12-Apr-10, I have already called them twice and there its the same result.
                            No calls or no technicians till now to install the TV.

                              Hi Sir,

                              I feel cheated form Reliance shop from where I have purcheased this phone. They said it is very goos phone. No one can know all the things while buying product, it only come to know after using it. There is no web inernet browser for GSM, No cal confference from CDMA.
                              Both Reliance and Samsung companies are bogus and worst comanies, They only know how to lootofy coustomers. I have very fond of phone but now I am very frusted due to this phone purchase Rs. 13000/-. Now can not change this phone and live with it. :-(

                                i have not yet received the Refund amount for the products stated below:

                                ORDER NO [protected] Samsung omnia -RS. 13499

                                ORDER NO [protected] xbox - RS. 17499

                                The order[protected] was cancelled on 19th of march and i was informed that the money will get refunded in 15-20 days.. and when i called on 29th March the customer service for the same i was told that refund number has not yet b een generated and it will take another 15-21 Days...
                                Please try to understand that we make payments through credit cards and we avoid Interest to be levied on us. So please hasten the refund process..

                                Complaint no 413876 - SAMSUNG OMNIA

                                The order no.[protected] was also cancelled on 19th of March and i was told that the order is not yet punched in the system and once it is punched the order will be cancelled... and when i called on 29th march i was told that the order has already been dispatched. I dont understand how can India today dispatch order which is requested for the cancellation.

                                i was told that u need to refuse the acceptance of the order once it arrives at your door step. i have refused the order acceptance on 5th april when the courier company called me for the courier acceptance.

                                the only request to India today is not delay the refund process and please have a strong customer service team which would reply correct answers and process the correct request..


                                I request to the management of the india today to refund my amount for the orders stated above before the interest on 31,000 is levied Upon me...

                                Worst part is even the management doesnt bother to reply ... They do not understand the seriousness of the matter. It has badly spoilt the reputation of India today book club.

                                  I registered a complaint with Samsung customer care, regarding mal functioning of my Samsung semi autometic Washing machine 15-20 days back. The complaint ref no. is [protected].
                                  A Samsung service engineer came to our place and told us that the outer cover of the drier need to be replaced and told that he will be back in a day or two with a new one to replace it. Since then none has approached us regarding the same. I have called up the customer care at the no.[protected] multiple no. of times and every time I was told that they were sending a reminder to the service engineer and he will approach us and we were just waiting for that. I just want to tell you that now I have got fed up with this type of treatment from your side. I am not able to use my macheing since last 15 days. Please let me know whether your service engineer will come or not to repair that.

                                  SAMSUNG SEMI AUTOMATIC WASHING MACHINE — not working properly and always used to stop after every 30 minutes

                                  i had bought the samsung washing machine semi automatic in 2011. and it doesn't work properly since i had bought it. it always used to stop after some time and take long time to start again.... same problem is with th dryer of the washing machine.

                                      I had raised a request for a due free service for my window ac on 08-Apr-2010. Complaint number that I received was [protected]. I was confirmed that an engineer would visit me latest by 09-Apr-2010 20:00 hrs. Since no one turned up by the due date, I called upon the service centre thrice only to be assured that I would be receiving a call within next one hour. However, one of he guys provided me with a number of Field engineer (Mr. Yougesh [protected]) and asked me to call him in case he doen't call me. It was again an exrecise calling this guy as most of the times his phone was busy and at last he did nothing but cut down my call.
                                      When I contacted Service centre again, I was told by some Mr. Birju that the guy had by mistake given me the number of some Manager who was not the concerned person and hence wasn't pickeing my call and hat I would only be getting service on Monday as it's closing time for the service centre.

                                      Samsung — Not working & nobody attending to sevice it

                                      I am brand loyal to Samsung for past 5 years, but now i have my second thoughts about buying any samsung products after seeing its service. I have bought samusung microwave in Nov'08 - Chennai (Jayam & co - Anna Nagar) and somebody came and installed it & left. when we tried to use it, it was not working. Its been allmost 6 days since i registered my complaint Com.No:[protected].

                                      Service people are not returning their calls even after repeted reminders.

                                      Request you to look into it.

                                      By seeing the number of complaints here in this forum, i get a feeling that samsung has decided not to grow & give a way to competitor by loosing the loyal customers..

                                      Samsung — No attendance to complains

                                      The utter lack of servive of Samsung is unbelievable. I had registered a complaint with Samsung customer care regarding a TV problem end jul 09. It's been more than 50 days and the service personnel dont deem it fit even to call.

                                      Apart from a legal battle, is there anything else to shake the service personnel from sleep?

                                      I have made a lot of call to Samsung customer care from 21 Apr to till date, but I did not get any response from your side. Every time they said we will send executive today but I do not when today will come. On 23 Apr I got service center no from your customer care as 45261600. I have made call to service center, they told for sending executive first on Sunday then on Monday, BUT till this time no executive visited.
                                      If same position will exist then I will go to Consumer Court

                                      I have purchased a SAMUNG Split A/C on the Month of March 2010 the problem is Indore unit is not working at the time of insulation they said that they will change the unit that is also fro my beauty parlor until now they no responsible from the company i am talking to them daily they told that we will do in one day every day they are telling the same answer last month on 15th i gave a lea-gel notice to the company .
                                      Please help me with composition from them ...i lost so many customers to my parlor in summer.
