[Resolved] Orange Holidays — Case under IPC 419, 420. | |
Orange Holidays have cheated thousands of inoccent people by advertising Low cost Holidays in India as well as abroad. In most of the cases they have collected the money from public and later on closed there offices in MUMBAI, NEW DELHI etc. After cancelling all the holidays tour suddenly without informing to the customers. All the money collected as advance for booking holiday tours have not been returned to the customers. All efforts to contact them have failed and all the requests to return the money have been fallen to deaf ears. Concern person is not available. We will call u back. Cheque signing authority is not there right now. are few of the satandard replies given by their Bangalore Corporate Office. There is a need to be united and give a good lesson to Orange holidays. A forum for legal proceedings is under progress and as a consumer we should get united to show Orange Holidays Management that what "consumer protection Act " is ? I have encountered several customers getting duped by their false promises.As a matter of fact I was forced to taken their membership but I havnt availed their services and will never do. I just want to caution all the people around.
Do not Trust these guys. I don't know why they haven't been put behind bars.

I don't know what the regulation bodies in india are doing, even after numerous complaints are being registered.
It is the time they should be remembered what Consumer Act policy meant is.

This is so sad. I have also been dumped by them 'ORANGE HOLIDAYS', i have given the advance payment for them regarding 15k 25year it. They have forced me and tried their best to get me registered today itself, i was suspecious about their package and the gift(i.e, armani watch), but was carried away by those things and paid the advance . That guy named RAMESH in hyderabad is fooling many people in hyderabad in similar way . This is the first time i have been fooled, and it really hurts me. I have the payment receipts and everything of the advance i have paid and his photograph also. If those details can be useful in any way to put them under bars, i would be glad to send them.
I am also one of their victims and would like to see them behind bars. The person who duped is named Giri. After I paid the amount, he disappeared and his phone is also not reachable.This issue should be discussed in a public forum or social networking site so that more people become aware of this fraud company. I suggest we start a forum and file complaints in the Consumers forum.

I've also been duped by Orange Holidays. I [planned my vacations to Vizag during Oct-2016, since they do not have any property so I was promised by one Mr Sai Ram that he will book the rooms at the discounted rates and I need to pay full payment to him in advance. I paid Rs. 6000/- to Orange Holidays Bank (Laxmi Vilas Bank). After not receiving the calls closer to my start of vacation, I directly called up the Hotel and was shocked to know that they do not have any tie-up with Orange Holidays and it seems to be a case of cheating.
After that I was able to spean to this Sair Ram only couple of times at number[protected] and for close to 2 months no response.
I got to know that they have now moved from Hyderabad to Chennai recently.
I fortunately have recorded last 2-3 calls of him.
I think we should now save the people of Chennai (somehow) so that they do not start cheating them.
I do not think I can file a complaint in Tamil Nadu since fraud has taken place in Hyderabad but we all collectively need to do something.
