[Resolved]  Orange Properties — Beware of these frauds!

I face the same problem as you guys do. I booked a sofa-set for Rs. 25, 750 on 02 Aug 2008 and paid an advance of Rs.6, 000/-thro' my debit card. The sofa was due for delivery on 18 of Aug 2008 and every time I called at their M.G. Road office, the goons sitting there have been harassing me by giving a mouthful of -replies and promising some date of delivery as their mind fancies. There is not a single responsible person who can genuinely commit himself/herself to the job. Right from the due day of delivery, I have been in touch with the company and everytime one of their idiotic female staff who never know to handle their customers, talk some nonsense and get away. Whenever I asked them to connect to their senior, they would curtly say that their senior is not available. The senior being an ever-evading-expert Shaji Thomas. The other senior Mr.Manpreet has already left the company. All that I know is there is one mysterious Mr.Vijay who is said to be the M.D. of the company but is never available for the customers. There are a number of trained liars starting from Shilpa, Geetha, Anu and two most shameless marketing liar executives Bhavya and Nova who only market lies on behalf of their company and spew only arrogance. I have demanded them to return my money by way of cash. But they insist that they would return the money only by way of cheque. I asked them, that when they could not deliver the sofa set in time, what guarantee is there that their cheque would not bounce? I also asked them that, would they accept cheque from the customers? So I told them firmly that if they can demand cash or card payment from the customers, I too would follow the same rule and would settle only for cash. I am genuinely looking for some media person to come and help such harassed customers and bring the frauds to the public view so that others would be saved from becoming a prey to these rascals.

The very advert of a mercedes agiant a villa of 69 lakhs & luxury appartment for 13.59 lakhs is against logic & defay's fundamental costing principals. Also the he background given here by furniture customers adds to the worry. Commonsence tells me to avoid these impractical & apparently dubious sounding schemes like a plague.
We had booked a holiday to Far East (HOLIDAY TO SINGAPORE, BANGKOK, KL) by paying full advance 4 months back with Orange holidays in Bangalore. When we wanted to go now on the trip (HOLIDAY TO SINGAPORE, BANGKOK, KL), they kept saying we will get confirmation since last 10 days. We applied for leave and got ready. Orange holidays said 3 days before schedule date of departure that they cant get confirmations on air ticket. Finally we demanded a full refund for which Orange holidays agreed. They have given us a cheque yesterday for the full amount of Rs 50, 000 which has bounced. You can’t get anyone on the phone, they are always evasive. They only come out with full page advertisements to lure innocent people. This is to advise all fellow Indians and travelers not to trust these cheats. ORANGE HOLIDAYS AND THE WHOLE GROUP ORANGE PROPERTIES ORANGE RESORTS LOOK LIKE THEY ARE BIG CHEATS. BEWARE!

Pure Scammers and Cheaters making their drug/smuggling black money into white money with collecting your hard earned money and eventually intend to disapper to Arabian Gulf where no proper law and order available for Indians. If you happens to get some checks - dont get excited - they will bounce and with Indian law system you will run around spending more of your money for another 4 years and by that time they will declare bankrupcy and run away untouched - spend your money on Egyptian girls! and stay luxury life there.
I was excited when I saw adviteisements in news papers and made an appointment to see the property consultant. The deal was very impressive and I immediately booked a flat and payed 2 lakhs by cheque. I was promised that they'll pay me 7, 000 Rs every month. I recieved cheques for 4 months and later I got a phone call that they want to make a re agreement on the flat. They decided to reduce the cost of property by 4 lakhs. I dont know how geinuine these people are. I am asking for a refund. I dont if I am being cheated. If anybody wants to make a legal complaint, I am with you.
Well I booked a 2 BHK at Orange premium - I did receive the cheque of 7500 for abt 3 to 4 months post that I have been following up with the company regularly - understand that they have now re opened their office and after multiple conversation with their staff I keep getting assurances that the money will be paid out on the 15th of the following month.

Need help to get the refund - is there a group that has engaged a lawyer or taken this further please advice
