i an staying in sri niwas puri, new delhi.and the cylinder is supplied by sachin gas service, whenever we call them for bokking the cylinder...the phone is always engaged...even if we get through by god's grace...our calls are not picked...plzzz take some appropriate action as soon as possible or we may approach to consumer's court.
I need to take up a new Gas connection (Govt). What formalities should I take to apply it. Let me know what doccuments are all needed to take up he connection. I dont have Ration card as I am migrant to chennai.
This is the probable third time I am complaining.That is why Iam thinking it is worthless to complain .Please tell what action you have taken against the defiant dealers otherwise it is a fruitless activities.

I have only a single cylinder connection. I had booked for a cylinder around the 10th of this month and I was promised a new cylinder within a week. But so many days have passed, yet I have not received the cylinder. It is really very difficult without gas, no issue of kerosene and with my 2 small children. On making frequent calls to the office, there is no proper response and most of the time the telephone is off the hook. I kindly request you to look into this matter and resolve the situation. I am always facing such a trauma with that agency.

We face the same problem.
Once we expressed the concern (to selaiyur agency) about not picking up the phone. They says they are busy with lot os customer calls and each customer has to face the problem.
After several phone trials, once my father-in-law directly visited agency and tried to call those numbers directly from there. It was suprising, they have some internal mechanism set in such a way that the system(all the numbers) even if not picked up gives the busy messages - strange. He questioned them the same and about their fraud service, out of fear of Consumer court they provide the stock then and their itself.
All this points out that their are giving priorty to sell the goods for more amount to non-subscribers.
Each affected can file a case in Consumer court, then only they will learn a lesson. When the court charges them with lumb amount as fine for doing fraud and making the consumer suffer each time.
I also face the same problem. I get fed up with this agency. I also try a lot to these numbers. I am trying out the online booking this time. Let me try my fate this time. B'coz luckily i got the call booked on 1st december but till now (29th december) i have not received the gas. Whenever they pick the phone they say you will receive today. For these people never comes today and tommorrow. I think only the consumer court can solve this problem.

I AM UMASHANKAR RESIDING IN MEDAVAKKAM FOR THE PAST SIX MONTHS IN THE ABOVE ADDRESS.IAM BHARAT GAS CUSTOMER FOR THE PAST 10 YEARS, SO FOR I AVE NOT FACED ANY PROBLEM REGARDING BOOKING AND DELIVERY, WHEN I WAS IN THIRUVANMIYUR.NOW IN MEDAVAKKAM FOR THE PAST SIX MONTHS I AM FACING BIG PROBLEM REGARDING BOOKING AND DELIVERY. I HAVE TWO CYLYNDERS, IAM USING ONE BY ONE.GAS AGENCY IS ASKING TO BOOK THE GAS 21 DAYS AFTER THE DELIVERY DATE.WHEN IT IS BOOKED IT IS DELIVERED ONLY AFTER 20 DAYS FROM THE BOOKING DATE.BUT THE GAS CYLINDER GETS OVER WITHIN 25 DAYS, WHERE THERE IS A 15 DAYS LAG BETWEEN BOOKING DATE AND DELIVERY DATE.THE DELIVERY MAN REPLY IS VERY RUDE AND HARSH AND ASKING FOR BRIBE. THE GAS AGENCY RESPONSE IS VERY POOR.PLEASE SEND THE GUIDELINES FOR BOOKING THE GAS CYLINDER.I HAVE MENTIONED MY ADDRESS AND GAS AGENCY ADDRESS FOR YOU TO TAKE THENECESSARY ACTION. there is delay in delivery of gas cylinder I have booked gas and dealer said that load will go in 10 days time after 10 days when I called he sain it will go in 2 days time but after 28 days also I have not received the delivery of gas cylinder , while making phone call, agency people will not pick up the phone, and after trying half an hour to one hour they will pickup and answer that there is no load from company that’s why it is delaying in delivery , we will give u in 2 days .

1. They are not at all picking the call. Almost the phone is engaged. if it is ringging they are not at all picking the call .
2. After delivering the gas . they have asked us to book after 21 days. even though we are booking after 21 days they are telling that they will bring the gas after 10 days.
3. i registerd my gas in 26th december 2009. and i have asked my priority number they are not giving that.
4. Response from people at counter is very horrible.
