We have been trying to reach the Paramount Airways customer care / toll free number since TWO month, with no response. They have closed all their office it seems.
Have sent several mails to their feedback email i.d. too with no reply. How do we get in touch with them. Their local office at airport is also closed. Please help us to resolve this issue at the earliest.
I have seen lot of complaints regarding fund refund ,plz help us to get the money back.

I have booked a ticket paramount airways flight no.I4782 on 06.02.08(PNR no. 009TWW) from BLR-MAA. Later I have cancelled the filght due to enormous flight delay. I was told that refund will be done 4~5 working days. But even today(12.03.08), I haven't received any feedback. Whenever I call their complaints nos. I was told that it will be refunded but nothing seems to be happening.

I would like to know how to take up this issue to consumer court.
I have booked a ticket on paramount airways flight no.17 - 414 03.03.09(PNR no. 001GAH) from Trivandrum-chennai. Later I have cancelled the filght due to enormous flight delay. I was told that refund will be done 4~5 working days. But even today(11.03.09), I haven't received any feedback.

Paramount Airways — Flight cancelled before only 3 hrs

kindly have your attention towards my complaint towards airline authority for cancelling flight from Ahmedabad to Coimbatore on dte 3rd may 2009.I was informed just before 3 hrs of departure, &i missed my important business meeting on the same day, so that I also have to cancell my retun flight by Spicejet on the nextday.On addition to this they have refused any kind of alternate for us.So i want the full refund & the panelty as well & I hope you will take suitable action & it willnot happen with any one again in future.

Paramount Airways — Flight delayed by 3 hours

I7 424 Paramount Hyderabad to Chennai got delayed and yet to start.

The departure was changed more than twice.

The passengers received the SMS that the flight is delayed by 2 hours and are waiting at the Hyderabad airport. The flight staff was not proactive at all. Passengers have to remind them of the responsibilites and got the answer that flight will start at 11:00 PM, Then another chanage now as I type the compliant - at 11:45 PM.

The manager of the airline is not to be seen around.
Kindly take this issue with Consumer court. Usually people give up their money and it is pocketed by the commercial manager Mr Ranjiv. Dont let it happen with your money.

Jet Airways/Paramount Airways — Cancellation Refund

REALLY DISTURBING

This is not acceptable becoz if there is process defined that "If the passenger is agreeing for alternative arrangement and canceling the alternative tickets the flight which booked alternative that airline will not process the refund". The same could have intimated to me either by Paramount ariwary help desk on 19 Dec 2009 december and also Jet Airways . Pls refer below my details mail on 05th Jan 2010. Had i known this process information , i should not have taken the pain of Going too early to ( 1 and half hour ) before and waited in the Queue to get my wife ticket cancelled . Why would i do a cancellation duly when I get nothing in return . Infact Jetairways did informed me that you need to process your refund thru Paramount .Also becoz of not providing the correct process information both at Paramount help desk and Jet airways counter , what all i got is

Money loss
Mental agony in reaching very early to ( early morning flight) Airport before the actual filight time that too with 2 old wheel Chaired parents ..

Really wanted to address this and need an explanation .. PLS ACT .....

Also when i called up now to Paramount Airways help desk @ 1620 hours , she duly accepted the mistake of not providing the correct process information . PLS ADDRESS ..



Back ground of the problem

We booked a ticket thru Paramount Vide PNR 0M625E , however the flight to Vizag got cancelled and Paramount staff is very much supportive in providing the alternate ticket to thru Jet Airways on 21 Dec 2009 . The PNR for Jet Airways is 9W531 from Bangalore- Chennai is GNFIXU and jetlite Chennai- Vizag is GNFIOK.

However becoz of the personal emergency my wife travelled 20th Dec it self. I did called up Paramount airways for cancellation of my wife ticket ( Aruna) . They advise me to go to the Jetairways Counter at @ Bangalore airport before 1 hour of the schedule departure and cancell my wife ticket . I did the same and go it endorsed the same .Hence we all three ( My father, My mohter and myself) travelled to vizag with the same tickets . w.r.t refund specfic to my wife ticket(Aruna) they asked me to touch base with " Parmount". Yesterday i did called up your help centre and they advised me to send an e mail along with the endorsed ticket . Please find the attached scanned copy of the same .

Delay in arrival and start of Paramount Airways Flight (Details of Schedule given above)

Chennai to Kolkata Indigo flight missed because of 1 hour 15 minutes delay by Paramount Airways.

At Chennai Airport Paramount Airways flight arrived at 19.15 hrs (instead of scheduled (18.15) and baggage claim took 10 minutes and we reached Indigo counter at 19.25 hours and "counter was closed" and the ground staff of INDIGO repeated only two words " Counter closed"

Paramount Airways also tried to cajole them but failed.

Paramount airways did not help to get either the room or alternate immediate flight. They helped me to get the next day immediate flight by Paramount Airways at Rs. 12,058/- which I paid in cash

Today I contacted Make my trip staff. Please see what is happening in makemytrip office

1) Phone no. of[protected] was totally bogus - It is telling me what I should do and it is not working.
2) After fighting for 30 minutes somebody talked with me and he instructed me to talk to Paramount Airways for rectification. He put on the music for such a long time of over 7 minutes and replied in negative what I should and not what he will do. I do not know then what for I should book the ticket through you?
3) When I talked with Kolkata Makemy trip he passed on the problem to somebody and said the complaint has been forwarded and somebody from customer support will talk to me. This is very clear that people are more interested in being problem oriented rather than solution oriented.
4) Longback I wrote to makemytrip regarding non-receipt of eticket. No reply from them.

I sent email two times to Paramount Airways in regard to this . I have not received any redressal till date.

I want my money of Rs. 12,058/- to be returned to me which I paid in cash for the fresh ticket between Chennai and Kolkata by Paramount Airways itself by next day morning which was thrusted on me since Paramount Airways flight of Madurai to Chennai arrived late and I missed the connecting INDIGO flight on 20th February 2010.

(or) as an alternative

the balance money for travel which I missed the INDIGO flight (Which I paid total of Rs. 15,044 for travel between Madurai and Kolkata; Madurai to Chennai I travelled by Paramount Airways and that money can be deducted (without any unnecessary deductions) from Rs. 15,044 and balance can be paid. Let Paramount Airways not cheat me with unnecessary deductions and say travel between Madurai and Chennai itself would have cost you Rs. 15,044/- and no refund would be given. I want the highest of these two for whole night sleeplessness by old couple sitting in the Chennai Airport Lounge. I am not greedy and not interested in other compensation

Paramount Airline — Cancellation of flight

Paramount airline is cancelling the booked tickets without adjusting to some other flight and giving full refund leaving the passengers with no option but to take flight of other airlines which is costing much. It is not genuine. It should be the responsibility of the concerned airline to adjust the passengers in next operating flight. Please do the needful.

Paramount Airways — Flight from Madurai to Chennai canceled on July 3, 2010

Dear Sir/Madam,

We had reservation with Paramount Airways Flight number 17-452 leaving Madurai at 8:40 IST to Chennai. This flight was scheduled to arrive Chennai at 10:00 PM. We had reservations on Cathay Pacific leaving at 1:50 AM on July 4, 2010 (about 3 hours of arrival to Chennai by Paramount).

We were surprised to get a SMS message around 2:00 PM on June 3, 2010 from Paramount stating that the flight 17-452 was canceled that day. Paramount did not give us any alternatives to reach Chennai that night. After spending several hours on the phone with Paramount staff at Madurai booking office and at the Madurai airport, we heard only regrets and apologies, but no promises to get us to Chennai that night. It was a very frustrating experience for us. We expected Paramount to book us in another airline, so that we could catch our Cathay Pacific flight to San Francisco.

With no fruitful results from Paramount, we had to contact Jet Airways and booked our tickets at full price, Rs. 11,832 per ticket for the same night. At the airport, before boarding the Jet Airways flight, we spoke to the Paramount airport staff. None of them offered any solutions to our issue at hand.

Paramount charged us one thousand rupees per ticket for changing the dates from July 1, 2010 to July 3, 2010. When we change the dates, Paramount charges us a penalty. Similarly, Paramount should take responsibility for their actions.

We want Paramount to:
1. Refund the money we paid directly to Paramount for the canceled fight.
2. Refund the money we paid to Jet Airways for our flight to Chennai from Madurai.
3. Refund the penalty paid by us to change the dates from July 1, 2010 to July 3, 2010.

If the above refunds are not received in a reasonable time, we shall file a case against Paramount in a court of law in India. All court expenses shall be charged to Paramount.

Paramount must pay for all the inconveniences and headaches caused by the cancellation of flights, informing passengers of the cancellation at the last minute, non-cooperation of the Paramount staff to help passengers of canceled flight.

Flight Cancelled - Refund not yet received - For almost 2 months.

I booked 2 tickets (Chennai – Madurai) for 19 August, 2010 from Paramount Airlines. The airlines have cancelled the flight at last minute with no alternate arrangement done, and notified by SMS.

Paramount customer care confirmed they would refund the airticket with in 7 days. But still I have not received my refund and no response from Airlines for phone calls.

Paramount Airways — Refund not Issued

We had a flight booked from Chennai to Madurai through Paramount Airways for Sep 10th 2010. The flight was cancelled and we received intimation through a phone call and a subsequent SMS. Upon contacting the Paramount Airways counter for a refund, it was informed that the refund would be processed onto my credit card. So far there hasn't been any refund issued or processed. All attempts to contact the airlines through phone/email/ in person have been unsuccessful. The PNR number of the tickets are OM9QY9.

Going through the list of complaints on this website, the airline operators seem to be a bunch of Crooks

I have booked 4 Chennai to Madurai Tickets for 08th Sep,10 thru Paramount Airlines. but Airlines cancelled the flight at last minute and they did not arrange any alternative also. Paramount customer care confirmed they would refund the airticket with in 7 days. But still I have not received my refund and no response from Airlines for phone calls.

I have booked Madurai to Chennai flight (PNR - 0M9OH8, Ticket Number[protected], Flight Number - I7458, date of journey - 13th September '10) which was cancelled and i have been communicated about this cancellation on 10th September '10. They also informed me that the refund will be made for the flight ticket within 3 - 5 days.

I tried calling the 24x7 call centre every time, but no response always the number was found busy. With this i have inquired the Madurai office and they told that the refund will be made within 15 days. At the same time i have sent a mail about this matter to the customer care ([protected]@paramountairways.com), also no reply from their end.

It is almost 40 days passed, no reply from the airline operator end.

Kindly accept this complaint and help me in getting the refund at the earliest.

Paramount Airways — Refund for cancelled flight delayed for more than 2 months now

I had booked a ticket on paramount airways for traveling from chennai to madurai on Aug. PNR no: 0M9O10. Flight was cancelled by airlines and i am yet to get the repayment. I had sent many mails and phone calls but there was no response for two months. LAst week, i had been there to their corporate office and enquired about the refund. They confirmed me that i will get my repayment on 25th Oct. But i did not get, siting reason that shortage of funds.

When customers are asking for money what they have paid, where is the question of shortage of fund?????

I think this is happening with all customers who have booked via paramount airways. How openly they are cheating and there is no one to catch them
I too booked in Paramount on 29th Oct 2010, They did not inform either by mailor phone, I cam eto know luckily from my realtrive and I booked other flight after confirmed with Paramount staff at Madurai by phone, After reaching Madurai and asked for refund, they said they have to get their MD approval, Will Paramount staff get their MD approval while getting my Hot cash while booking? This is not sensible, still today I did not receive any refurnd, It is about approx.Rs 7600/-
