[Resolved]  Parle — quality of biscuits

Address:Mumbai Suburban, Maharashtra

I bought a packet of hide and seek biscuits from reliance fresh, on opening it ,I found the chocolate layers were white in color , on careful examination you could see a fungus formation on biscuits the batch no is I313 and packing date is 711 the biscuits were opened in fully packed condition.
On calling the customer care number[protected] and reporting the matter the executive on the other side of the phone had a very casual attitude as if it is a very common thing.
My question to the company is,
What are the quality standards which are mandated for packaged food products.
What if these biscuits were consumed by small children? Does the company have no social responsibility towards the society.
This is a serious breach of quality. If some mishap occurs due to substandard quality of biscuits the company (Parle Ltd) is morally and ethically responsible. Kindly ask the company to justify?

Parle — White Fungus on Hide and Seek biscuits

Hide and seek Biscuits have white fungus on chocolate chips. I got 4 of them and all have white fungus. Please kindly take this matter seriously since most of indians here buy parle product and if no action taken then nobody is going to buy parle product.

Parle Melody chocolate — duplicate chocolate

I PURCHASE MELODY CHOCOLATE 5PCS THAT ALL CHOCOLATE IS DUPLICATE ...I HAVE TO FILE A COMPLAINT AGAINST THE PARLE COMPANY....
I have bought Hide & Seek from several grocery stores over the past year, and can confirm that this is not just one faulty batch but a more serious issue. I am able to get a refund from the storekeepers, but that does not solve the issue. Is this fungus or something else? If this is harmful, what steps is Parle taking to get it off the shelves? Has there been any sort of acknowledgement from the company with an otherwise stellar reputation, or are they not even aware of this problem? The customers demand an answer.
I have bought Parle Hide & Seek biscuits from various shops in my region. Even when they are far from the date of expiry, I have found that 4 out of 5 times I buy the product, white substance cover the chocolate chips. All of those times it does not set well with my stomach. I have stopped buying even though they are my favourite.

This is not to be taken lightly, as PARLE is one of the leading biscuit manufacturing companies in India. If they do not care what happens to customers who consume the product, how will we trust any other food producing company? What will we buy?

I bought parle hide and seek biscut..and i saw some white powder on it..today is the month of june 2017 and..the manufactured date is april 2017..and it is written best before six months from packing..
I'm kinda confused seeing it..is it a fungus or sugar content from the choco chips??

This is in regards to Hide n Seek biscuits that I have purchased and the biscuits have white granules on every choco chip on them and I am ambiguious regarding consuming them. Earlier I thought the vendor sold me a very old packet, however, when I checked the manufacturing date I found that the product wasn't even 3 months old (Mfd date -9/9/2017). I tried to call at the mentioned Customer care number but there was no response and hence I am lodging a complaint here. If the reply doesn't come within 2-3 days I might have to lodge a complaint with Consumer court. Kindly clarify me regarding that white substance. Please refer to the attached images.

Hide n seek biscuit is one of my favourite ones but today when i opened the pack i found white substances on every biscuit. This can be clearly figured out to be a case of fungal growth on the choco chips though the expiry date is well ahead from today. It is very disgusting to see that such a case has happened with one of the leading biscuit manufacturing brand PARLE. This has set a big disappointment at my end as it creates a mind set in me and my close ones that parle is no more a trusted brand as it supplies products being unfriendly to health.

I bought the large packet of parle hide and seek biscuit which also had the same fungus issue. Only after emptying half the packet, I noticed this defect. Can anyone please tell whether eating such biscuit will cause any serious health problems? Am a lot worried about it. The company should handle this problem seriously before it affects a lot more consumers which majorly includes kids.
Hide n seek biscuit is one of my favourite ones after more than 6 months I bought it today by believing that fungus issue would have been solved but today when i opened the pack i found white substances on every biscuit. This can be clearly figured out to be a case of fungal growth on the choco chips. I am very much disappointed. Didn't expect this from a well trusted company like you. Pls take this as a serious problem and resolve it as many people are consuming the defective products without knowing it. Wasted money buying such a worst product. I lost 120 rupees on this.

I bought a packet of hide and seek biscuit from one of the store here at rohini, delhi and found all the chocolate chips were covered with white dots, I don’t know if it’s edible or not, but I am very disappointed which brought me here at this page. Biscuit pkd: 14/8/20 batch : PN 14C B ( I bought it on 23/2/21)
Actually it is not fungus but fat blood is safe to eat very common in choco chips
