Passport Authority of India — Unreasonable Delay in issue of Passport

I submitted application for issue of new passport on 16th August 2010, file No: DLH-A[protected].

Police Verification was completed in month of October 2010 and since then the status has been "Police report is clear. Application is under process".

I had followed-up with authorities both over emails and in person, last interaction with the RPO was on 21st April 2011 and it was advised that passport will reach you in 10-15 days, now 20 days have gone by and still the status on the site is the same.

I would request you to please help in getting the passport issued at the earliest.
