[Resolved]  Passport — NAME CORRECTION

Dear Sir,
I am Vaishakh Rajan working as a designer in bangalore. As i made the mistake that my name is Vaishakh Rajan, is the correct and my old passport shows Vishag Rajan.i had renewed my passport by giving the old one and the old passport was made when i was one year old.so how can i get my spelling corrected in the passport?all my certificates and ID is having the spelling of Vaishakh Rajan.SO regarding the name correction what should i take a necessary need for changing my name in my passport book.
Please tell me the solution for the corrrection of my name in passport as soon as possible or mail to my email id mentioned.

I received my passport recently but there is a spelling mistake in my father's name. What is the procedure to get it corrected ?

Which form do i need to fill and what all documents do i need to submit to passport office ? and also this mistake is done by Passport officials coz I wrote my fathers name correctly when I filled the application form.

My Passport — Name change in passport

I applied my passort at Trivandrum passport office on 16 th Oct...now the status says 'your file is pending.'

The spelling of my first name in the renewed passport is incorrect although I had given a correct spelling for the same. It is a mistake of passport officials.

Hi Sir,

My name is Kumar Saurabh but my agent while filling the passport for me entered my name as Given name : "Kumar Saurabh" while the last name was left blank. I heard that leaving the last name blank causes problem in getting SSN and other benefits in US. Can you please shed light on this and what i need to do to get this corrected. passport — Mistake in Date of birth

Applicant's name: LUBNA NAFEESA SHAIK

My neice date of birth is printed as[protected] instead of[protected].
So I surrendered the passport to make necessary corrections. But after applying for a fresh copy, when I checked the status of the pass port the date of birth is again mentioned as[protected]. So I request the concerning authorities to correct the changes.

I don't assume but now I have full believe that Lucknow Passport Office is the worst Office in all over India.
I applied my Passport in year 2006 and got it in year 2008, It took 2 years time to complete my passport after alot of rigrous follow up. After my marriage I applied the Passport for my wife it again took 9 months to complete during this period I suffered a lot equally I lost so many opportunities related to my Career. Again the time came to make the passport for my SON...Believe me I have got it after 7 Months but the name mentioned in the Passport is wrong. Now I have been doing the followup here and there but nothing is coming out.

I would be happy if this message can pe passed to goverment top officials so that they see this condition. Its better if Govt can not control these departments in a right way then It should go for some other Options...Privatization is also a better solution for it.

My passport was issued in the year 1998 (Manual) and it is vallied upto 2018. I had visited Germany in 2007. The hand written details are not clearly visible (Faded).

Instead of Pradeep Nachimuthu, the name is printed as Pradeep Nachimathu.
So a name correction to be made.
Kindly give me the correct&shortest process to rectify my name in the passport:)

Passport Department — don't have marksheet's

i dont have marksheet's of class 10th and 12th,as i already mentioned in the form(application no:ghaziabad Z001145), i have not studied that much.then why they are asking me for the certificates for date of birth. I have attached all the documents whish i have and which was necessary.
