[Resolved]  Passport — Delay in Passport-Name correction

I Sukanta Biswas having a file reference number CAL-A[protected] apply for a new passport have some spelling mistake of my name.

So, I request you to take neccessary steps for the correction of my name's spelling.

My correct name's spelling is SUKANTA BISWAS

My name is MUKESH KUMAR PATEL and Father's name is SURYADEO PRASAD SINGH but when i received my passport first time then I've seen that my father's name is wrong SURYADEO PRADAD SINGH, 'S' is missing in my Father's name. Its creating a problem for me. So i thought to change my Father's name. Can u tell me the procedure of changing my Father's name

passport — delay in correction

I Kasturi Das submitted my passport no/G6530938 for the period[protected] for correection of the name of my father along with duely filled in application form on 22/6/09 and fees of Rs.500/- was diposited in the office file no.GUWM00211409.I am told that new copy will be issued with correct name of my father.But while surfing the net i noticed that the comment written against my file no. that police verification not yet received.But the case is something different, after police verification I already received my passport and it was given back for a mere correction.Kindly look in to the matter and do thcorrection of my father"s name.

i get my new passport this week.but when i check ther is spelling error in my Father's name.My father's name is Gurjeevan singh but in pasport it is Gurjeewan singh.Pls confirm how can i change it.Thanks.

i hv applied for passport 2 months ago and now i have recieved it, but the problem is that my father name has been printed wrong on it, so i want to know what is the procedure to correct it and how much time and cost it will take.
please reply if any one knows the procedure.

hi i have problem my brother passport adress is 305 insteed mistake 503 and my brother wife passport born inmehmadvad speel mistake he write down ahmedabad give me good suggation.
