[Resolved] Passport Delay — Delay in getting the passport | |
Sub: File No. DLHA03213509 – Tiji Mathew – Group A Non receipt of Passport Respected Sir, This has reference to the application for passport for my daughter, Tiji Mathew vide File Reference No. DLHA03213509 dated 11th June 2009. I would like to submit the true facts for your kind consideration and necessary action The police verification was done in the month of June 2009. Subsequently, the Office of the Regional Passport Office, Delhi vide their letter dated 22nd July 2009 requested for 3 personal particulars form, which was submitted to the PRO personally on 27th July 2009. She is the resident of Delhi since her childhood . Kindly help us in getting a passport for her at the earliest. Respected Sir/Madam,
I am Dipesh Pal from Kolkata, applied for a new passport on 12th March, 2009. Till today I didn't get my passport. Police verification has been completed within two months from that mentioned date. After that I have sent an e-mail to the Regional Passport Officer (e-mail id : rpo.[protected]@mea.gov.in), requesting him for hand-delivery of my Passport. But, didn't get any response till yet. Then I went for Regional Passport Office (4 Brabourne Road, Kolkata - 700 001) twice to submit the same letter (Sub : Requesting for hand-delivery of my Passport). First time, I got response from counter no.12 that "they had delivered the passport at my residential address but the house was closed that's why nobody received that" and they also added "the passport is there". I requested them to give my passport back but they answered "we can’t give a hand-delivery. We will send it through speed-post and you will get the passport within one week". But unfortunately didn't get my passport within 2 months after that episode. Then again I knocked counter no.12. They told "they have lost that requesting letter". I submitted that letter once again and ask to give a received copy. They replied "We can't give any received copy against this letter. This time definitely you will get your passport within one week." But it's 3rd month going on after that event, neither I got my passport nor I get any information from them. Now I feel very much helpless in this matter. I expect help from your side.
During this drama we have changed our residential place for renovation purpose. But I can get my passport from my old address which has mentioned in the application form. Please help me to rescue from this trap. I will wait for your response.

I applied for new passport, DOB 12/10/1976 and file no A02478509 still i am not recieved the passport, even police verification done at Madiwala police station on 06/02/10, 20/Feb/2010 and on 21/Feb/2010. I have posted a letter on 14/May/2010 with all copies of necessary address proofs with a covering letter.
I have also approached Superintendent (Enquiry) on 30/May/2010 but not success. I finaly met an lady officer with a letter and all proofs on 01/June/2010. Till date no action on this.
Pls let me know what is my passport status, kindly despatch my passport as early as possible. Could you possibly assist, and if so, could you explain what I am possibly doing wrong.

But when I checked the status of my passport in internet from the website http://passportstatus.nic.in/passmain.php “it says, “Police Report Has Not Been Received.” Then I also checked the website http://policewb.gov.in/wbp/passport/passportsearch.html “ to know the current status of my passport. The result is “File Not Found ”, it is not also updated after 09/08/2010.
I made many enquiries to Burdwan DIB, they never gave me any satisfactory information. They are always saying me to wait 1 or 2 weeks.. But there is many weeks I spend being waiting.
Kindly assist me in getting my passport and if anything else is required please let me know.
Otherwise please sir, do something so that I can get my passport immediately.

She is the resident of Delhi since her childhood. Now she has completed her B E(Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering) and seeking for a job any where.
